Save yourself the aggravation and find a professional grooming salon. I have had more than one bad experience here and unfortunately the problems have been with the manager, Tina, so there isn't anywhere to go for relief. Her grooming ability is terrible with uneven haircuts. Her customer service is even worse. Even when things are proven to her to be handled wrong, she will still argue with you and give you an attitude. The other staff are mouthy too. Unbelievable. read more

There are approximately 40 years of age there is a long-haired female employee, she might be a veterinarian, her attitude is very bad, I go in and say hello to her, to her advice, but she ignored the eyes look at me with contempt, and then walked away. Be sure to go here if you have nothing else to do for the afternoon. If you need something that is locked up in a case it can take up to 15 to 20 minutes to get an employee to help you. Clean and super friendly staff make visiting here with or without your pup a good experience. We have used the grooming services and training classes without reservation and with great results. Prices are better than most pet stores and this is our go to store. I would however recommend not using the Banfield for more than every day maintenance as they are constantly trying to out source medical procedures to unnecessary expensive specialists. read more

We take our pup, Auzzie, here almost every week just to walk around! He's always been Mobil groomed at home but wanted to try them out! Lexi was very friendly and great with Auzzie. He's a Australian Shepard mix and it came to the quoted $35 price. When we arrive to pick him up Lexi greeted us with a grooming report of all the provided and any additional notes she included. The team members here are very friendly, and helpful when I have questions when I am shopping. I usually stick to my particular brands, so not many questions are usually asked. I never wait long in line, and the counter cashier is always quick to offer their service if I need anything additionally. I will say, for the ONE time, about 2 years ago, I took my pup to get his nails cut, and as I watched through the window, they cut below the "white line" of his nail and made him bleed. I saw the blood on a paper towel, and one of the "groomers" moved in front of it so I couldn't see my dog. When I picked up my dog, not one of them made mention that he was bleeding. A simple mention, would have been nice. I am not even asking for a grovel, but if you won't acknowledge the elephant in the room, than I won't bring my dog for grooming there anymore... I'm sure by now they have new groomers since it seems they have a high turn over for that position, but I'm sure that's another day's review on another site. Otherwise, no complaints. Its a clean, well maintained store, and my dog is still happy to {only} shop there. read more

Back in 2009, this is where we met our doggies. They have pet adoptions on Saturdays and that one great day, we decided to go to Petsmart just to "check it out". An hour later, we came home with 2 pups! It was a very easy process. As for the store, they always have what we are looking for. Yea, their prices are pretty steep. I think Petco is a little cheaper. Petsmart grooming section is not only terrible but they have rude costumer service. I waited 15 minutes to get there attention to get a representative to acknowledge me. I personally had a very bad experience with them a few days ago where there service members treated my dog terribly (rough and yelling at them) and the manager was rude saying "my dog and I were the problem" I highly suggest people think twice about going to get their dog groomed here. read more

I will no longer be shopping at Petsmart I will definitely be going to Petco from now on what horrible customer service I just experienced!!! I purchased a pet stroller that was in a opened box for a 15% discount which I was told was beat up from the warehouse . First of all that was a lie because there was a stapled receipt from Petco inside that said return to inventory customer returned January 29, 2015. I was assured that all the parts were there and it was perfectly fine when I bought it. I purchased the stroller on February 16 and tried to put it together yesterday only to find it had a missing wheel. I called the store and spoke to two people and they told me I could just come in and get a wheel or I could bring the whole stroller back and just get a new one so today I did just that and when I tried to return the store I was told I would have to pay full price now because the boxes weren't opened. I asked the manager why would I purchase a stroller for a discount if it wasn't operable she then said sometimes people will purchase a discounted stroller for the parts and I said why would they spend $85 when they could spend $15 more for a brand-new one? I then told her I would search eBay and see if I could find one cheaper. She said she would stand right there while I looked she knew full well I wouldn't find a brand-new one with their brand because it was PetSmart brand. I did however find one that looked exactly the same for $69 plus many more that were much cheaper. All of them also free shipping. I then informed her I would be purchasing mine online. I told the cashier as I left the store that was a foolish thing to do as I spend a lot of money on my pets obviously if I was willing to spend that much on a stroller for a poor little dog that can no longer walk that was on his way out of this world. I told the manager that the older dog could no longer walk and the new puppy that we brought was learning to walk and the older dog would howl because he couldn't go for walks anymore so this was why we are purchasing it, not that this should matter but because we were told three times that we would be getting a perfectly new one. I used to go out of my way to come to this store but because of the principle of the matter I will no longer shop here and will only shop at Petco from now on where they have excellent customer service and this would never have occurred at their store. POOR POOR MANAGER!!!! And did I mention we had to wait 30 minutes in the store the other day just to get help they only had three people on shift you can check with the manager on duty Ryan as I was waiting for him for 30 minutes and had to be helped by another nice gentleman that did help me he was more than hospitable. Out of this whole store he was the only person that knew what customer service means. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars! I recently moved to Murrieta and before that we had been taking our puppy to the location in Riverside. We absolutely love the Riverside location! We took our dog Bruce Wayne for the first time to the Murrieta location and immediately noticed how crowded the front desk gets. The dogs get anxious because they're cramped together while waiting for someone to help you. The staff at the front desk is incredibly rude! When the groomer finally came, she took Bruce with her and told me she'd give me a call. That firs T experience was OK so we decided to go back a month later. Again, the crowded front desk area makes it really hard. No one even acknowledged that we were there. We had to wait around 10 minutes to even be helped. About 3 other people who walked in AFTER, were helped before us. The worst part was that when the groomer came out, Bruce Wayne began shaking and refused to leave our side. He did not want to go with the groomer! This has NEVER happened before. My dog loves people, he would always run towards his previous groomer and fill her face with kisses; so when he began shaking it became a concern. I don't know what they did to him to make him this scared, but needless to say, we will never go back to the Murrieta location. read more

I have always taken Mason to small grooming shops. I received a coupon and decided to try them. Lex did an awesome job. Mason looks great. I am very, very particular about my pets.
