I am a fur mama, and a lover of all pets, as a matter of fact, I do not call my babies pets, I call them my children and love them passionately. I have been coming to this PetSmart for many years for miscellaneous items for my babies as well as food, clothing and hygiene products. I have also been to their adjacent clinic many times for annual visits, shots, etc. Everyone at this store has always been very nice and friendly. I will continue to visit this store for the needs of my fur babies.

This is crazy there's only one register open at 7:50pm on 06/09/2022 this is ridiculous look at this line

I just returned home from trying to drop off mu Shih Tzu to he groomed. When I arrived 6 minutes late do to horrendous traffic and a near accident, Marilyn told me she has another, larger dog to ve groomed at the sane time that would take quite awhile. Could I come back later ir tomorrow morning? To whic i replied I am not available. I was not happy to learn of the double booking so I asked why I was not called when it was known so I could avoid the trip. She said, " We have a lot of dogs and don't have time to call". She offered tomorrow morning again, to which I again replied I am not available. She asked for the rabies info. I showed her the letter my vet provided to me and to Miami-Dade County stating I paid for the license and tag but the rabies shot was not given to my dog due to his age and health (he is 24 and has kidney disease). Petsmart will not recognize such a letter. So, my advice to everyone is call before you leave to ensure this doesn't happen to you and don't bother them if you dog is exempt and has not received the rabies shot, even if it is housebound.

This is my favorite petsmart. I love the grooming salon! I've been taking my dogs here for years! Mishelle was my dog's groomer, then Rachel, now Jessica who just groomed my puppy was amazing! Definitely bring your dogs here! Thank you Jessica!

I would give this store 0 and all PetSmart at this point if I could. I got a dog cage around Oct-Nov don't know exactly the date, we had a cage the we thought there was something wrong due to the gate not working properly for. We got a new one from PetSmart also and it worked much better. I decide to look at the policy before going to make sure I was not wasting my time. When I got there my wife told me the guys say they can't due to 60 days past when it clearly says you can in theirs website. I made the line to speak to them again and this time we could not because we didn't have the box after I showed him PetSmart policy. They also said that it's because there is people buy cages from other locations and then try to get store credit there and I get that. At this point I am not being very nice and asked for the manger of course they did not seem like they wanted to help so I told him if I he could call his district manager and his manager said if he could find the receipt he could do the credit. At the end of it all they told me they could not find it I didn't get my credit and I left the stupid cage there. I would not recommend pet smart to anyone at this point chewy has the same prices and they won't give you a hard time. The only reason I started going to the store is for my 5 year old, but at this point never again.

Felicia, a brown tabby with stunning green eyes, was not only a frequent-flyer feline AND a cross-country traveler via automobile, but she was also a regular four-legged furry customer here at this Kendall Petsmart location until her heartbreaking death in 2002. Pebbles, a pretty (as in pretty-funny-looking) tortoiseshell, was a good sport about being dragged here ... um, I mean, CHOOSING to shop here ... (Okay, being forced to please her owner!) ... until she passed away in 2010. Coco Puff, a purebred diva who is soooo incredibly sweet and gorgeous that she could instantly convert any cat hater into a cat lover, loves to come here to this Petsmart location so that she can hang out at the "kitty playground" in the back of the store. Coco Puff also enjoys being pushed around in the shopping cart, as long as she does not come into close contact with "those cats in cages waiting to be adopted." (She hates cats.) Lastly, at the checkout, Coco Puff hops onto the conveyor belt (the cashier always obligingly turns it on for her) so that she can do her catwalk on the "treadmill." Felicia, Pebbles, and Coco Puff all give this Petsmart 5 stars. (Oh, to be CLEAR ... This particular Petsmart is the one located in the shopping plaza with K-Mart to the west and El Dorado to the east.) I, too, give this Petsmart (AND the Petsmart Company, in general) 5 stars, and these are the reasons why: 1. They allow pets inside! YAY! I have an extroverted cat who just loves to go to Petsmart with me. All the employees & customers love her and they always tell me that they have never seen a CAT in the store, as most customers bring their DOG. 2. They carry my cat's FAVORITE canned catfood! And, it is EXCLUSIVE to PETSMART! The brand is GRREAT CHOICE (Petsmart's private label) and the flavor is CHICKEN CACCIATORE, an incredibly unique flavor because, like the classic Italian dish for humans, this gourmet recipe for felines features hearty chunks of protein-rich chicken immersed in a tantalizing tomato sauce. Although I have only one cat myself, I have given this flavor to every other cat I know, and guess what?! ... They ALL LOVE it! Apparently, cats like tomato sauce. WHO KNEW?! 3. They have terrific promotions for PetPerks members. PetPerks is Petsmart's customer loyalty program. You simply present your PetPerks card at the checkout (or just give your phone number) in order to receive PetPerks pricing. Also, you will receive exclusive promotions/coupons via e-mail. (Don't worry, they do NOT bombard your inbox!) Occasionally throughout the year, there will be special offers such as 15% off your total purchase, $10 off $30 purchase (which is actually 33% off ! ), and, most recently, they have offered an unbelievably amazing deal: FREE BAG of cat or dog food! (YES, FREE!) Up to 4.5 lb. bag for cats and up to 6 lb. bag for dogs. NO purchase necessary! NO price restrictions! NO brand exclusions! TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!! What a terrific way to build customer loyalty! THANK YOU, PETSMART! I am a happy customer! 4. They make significant charitable contributions. One example: In celebration of its 30th anniversary, PetSmart, Inc. launched its Buy a Bag, Give a Meal™ program in March 2017. For every bag of cat or dog food purchased March 1 - Dec. 31, 2017, PetSmart will donate a meal to pets in need and expects to donate more than 60 million meals in 2017. 5. This particular location of Petsmart is always clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. 6. I bought an awesome pink pet stroller here! It is nicer, bigger, and better quality than others I have seen elsewhere.

This store is pretty cool and has a good selection of items for your pets needs. My son loves going just to look around at the birds, reptiles and fishes they have on display. They offer grooming services and even have a vet clinic. Prices aren't always the cheapest and service could improve here and there but overall it's a store we visit frequently.

They explained that the dogs play all day, have activities, are separated by temperament, and that puppies are carefully monitored. This gave me peace of mind since I had concerns about his joints, breaks, and being around larger dogs since he's just a baby. When I dropped him off, the man at the desk was also professional and explained that Murphy would receive a temperament assessment around lunchtime, and I'd get a call afterward with an update. He said I could either pick Murphy up then or leave him longer depending on how things went. Unfortunately, I never received a call or text. When I finished work and called them, the woman who answered was short and unenthusiastic -- she simply said, "Oh yeah, we have Murphy. He's in with the dogs, he's fine." Her tone left me uneasy. When I arrived, I found Murphy sitting off to the side in the large dog area, panting and looking unhappy. The dogs in the group were very large, and one was jumping excessively on top of other dogs (I'm talking like a kangaroo. 6ft in the air. The dog should be named jelly bean). Murphy, normally playful and confident, seemed timid and off. To make things worse, he was completely soaked -- his belly, legs, tail, everything. The floor of the play area was covered in large puddles of liquid, and while the staff member tried to tell me it was just "water from the hose," it was clearly urine. Once home, it was undeniable from the smell that he had been sitting and lying in urine (possibly mixed with feces). I was told dogs are only walked once a day and use a grass area outside. From what I saw, the indoor space has no toys or stimulation, and the floors are left wet with urine throughout the day. This means the dogs are essentially playing and laying in filth for hours. I left with Murphy timid, drenched in urine, and completely unlike his normal happy self. When I raised concerns, I was met with a dismissive response rather than care or reassurance. While I was in the lobby, I actually asked other people dropping off their dogs if they would recommend this place, since I was so concerned. To my surprise, they said they would. So perhaps some dogs are less sensitive to the environment, need less enrichment, or hygiene isn't as much of a concern to their owners. It's possible I caught the facility on a bad day. I am grateful this was a free trial because I would not have paid for such substandard care. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be bringing Murphy back. I sincerely hope the facility improves its sanitation, communication, and oversight, because the way the dogs are kept now is unacceptable. - I felt providing an update on this review is important for anyone considering bringing their pup to DogTown. After I picked Murphy up from daycare and wrote my initial review, he slept for hours and hours. When he finally woke up, he had developed a severe limp in his front leg. The limp worsened, and he ended up at the vet today. Thankfully, there are no broken bones, but the vet believes it's either a soft tissue injury or a hairline fracture. This almost certainly came from the rough play that's allowed at Dog Town, as Murphy had no issues prior and had just been cleared at the vet the week before during routine vaccines. My poor 5-month-old puppy is now on pain medication and sedation so we can keep him practically on bed rest while we hope his injury heals on its own. The vet also noticed a growth on his lip, which is canine papilloma virus. While I can't say with 100% certainty that it came from here, research shows it's commonly spread in dog daycare and boarding facilities, and the timing makes it very possible. With both of these things, I truly wish I could rate this place negative five stars.

On one stay, my dog was actually bitten by another dog. The only thing they offered was a 10% discount, which barely touched my $800 bill. It didn't feel like they took the situation seriously at all. 2. They also signed me up for their membership to give me some small perk, and when I tried canceling it a month later, it turned into a whole ordeal. I had to reach out multiple times just to get it taken care of, which was ridiculous. 3. And then recently, I booked a short stay on a Monday and wasn't told it was non-refundable. When I asked for a refund two days later, the owner wouldn't give it and only offered credit. I explained that I've already had several issues with them, but it didn't seem to matter. The lack of transparency was on their end, yet I was the one stuck with the loss. At this point, I honestly regret ever bringing my dogs here. The owners seem more interested in sticking to their policies than actually listening to customers or owning up to their mistakes.

Big mistake. Right after her visit, I discovered she had developed two fungal ringworm spots. In her four years of life, she has NEVER had any skin issues, not once. This was the very first and it came immediately after being groomed here. Ringworm is highly contagious and extremely difficult to treat. Not only has this become stressful and time consuming, but it has impacted her well being and my ability to interact with her normally. I am devastated. For a grooming facility to allow something like this to happen shows a serious lack of sanitation and hygiene protocols. I am disgusted and extremely disappointed. I have completely lost trust in this place and will make sure other pet owners are aware. Your pets' health and safety should always come first...do NOT take your dog here.

They gave me the run around and now refuse to keep their promise-I don't care anymore because my puppy is OK-thank goodness! But I wanted to be sure to warn anyone else who may consider this business. DON'T! As of 10/27: And in response to Nicholas below-he is no it being truthful, and he knows it.
