Our next family adventure take us Pet Smart located in Kendall with a category of 4.4 and more than 846 reviews we going into this store to founded food for our cat. A place where you can bring your pet everything he needs from personal care to medical care, as well as food, with specialists in hair cutting or adopting a pet, this store is perfect for you to come if you love for your cat or dog represents more than a pet in your house. Service to the costumers nice.

We always come here to get our Labrador, Murphy, a bath and haircut. Looking fresh and new, they always do an outstanding job even though he's very hyper. They're quite professional, nice, and loving to him, so we will continue to patronize this particular location. Don't forget to tip them well after they care for your furry member of the family.

Yelp 100 Challenge 2017: 52/100: Pet Smart is mostly my "go-to" place when it comes to getting everything for my two cats, Mancha and Piojo. From Piojo's Prescription S/O Diet, to Mancha's Dental diet. From their Organic Catnip to awesome toys for them. A bit expensive, but less expensive than other big and well known pet stores. However I am able to get supplies here that I can't find in other pet supply stores. Customer service is very friendly and this Pet Smart has a Banfield Animal Hospital inside. Both my Cats are part of their Wellness plan, which PetSmart promotes and I am very happy with their accessibility.

This location is super hit or miss. I've had great experiences and not so great. I always bring my dog as she's a social butterfly who loves meeting other dogs. Most of the employees are super friendly and helpful and I haven't experienced any issues with items being out of stock. I'll keep going just for the chance to take my little girl out and about and let her pick out new toys.

I was skeptical starts first but I think I found Tony's forever home here at the Grooming Salon. Carl left my baby looking SO HANDSOME... his care calmed Tony down even when I walked in, and he was very transparent and upfront with every detail of the service (cutting a lil extra off due to knots and such) 10/10 would recommend and will continue to recommend!

Well, I'm a new pet parent and let me start off by saying its a lot harder than i thought it would be! But I'm Soo happy I found this petsmart. This is the closest pet store I have to my house and it's HUGE! Full of great things for your pets. Who knew there could be so many awesome things for your pet and for YOU that can make your life alittle more convenient. Staff: To start off there's never a moment when you walk in and there isn't someone greeting you with a great attitude. The staff is just awesome! They love my puppy and already know her by name! Everytime I walk in she gets spoiled with attention. Even when I go in without her I am always approached and asked in what way I can be helped. If there is something in particular that I could use help finding. All the staff seem to have pets of their own which is great because they can give you first hand opinions which are really helpful! There is one staff member who is always super friendly and loves petting my pup, turns out she's the manager. That's awesome to see that even the manager can show that they truly care about their customers! Groomers: My puppy goes in there a smelly long nailed chewing monster and comes out a manicured, perfume smelling princess with fresh chompers to keep on with her daily chewing! All the groomers are exceptional, you can tell they really enjoy animals. I walk in and everyone is automatically excited and they all know my pup by name and she is even excited to see them! She walks in and just forgets I'm there. Doesn't even notice that I'm dropping her off. At first it was like dropping your kid off at kindergarten and them not even saying goodbye but now I'm happy that she's comfortable and treated like a princess. Inventory: SOOOOOOOOOO many cool things! You have from all kinds of food for ALL kinds of animals to any outfit you could ever picture your animal wearing. Everytime I drop my pup off when I come back I don't just leave with her.. I leave with new toys. New treats, cute outfits. It's pretty obsessive but I love it! If you're a pet parent who actually loves pet shopping and knowing their pet is being treated like they should I totally recommend this store. OH I forgot to mention. They have their own veterinary clinic inside! The people always seem to be fairly happy at the vet. I still haven't gone to them so I shall have to check them out! 5 stars for Petsmart (:

They explained that the dogs play all day, have activities, are separated by temperament, and that puppies are carefully monitored. This gave me peace of mind since I had concerns about his joints, breaks, and being around larger dogs since he's just a baby. When I dropped him off, the man at the desk was also professional and explained that Murphy would receive a temperament assessment around lunchtime, and I'd get a call afterward with an update. He said I could either pick Murphy up then or leave him longer depending on how things went. Unfortunately, I never received a call or text. When I finished work and called them, the woman who answered was short and unenthusiastic -- she simply said, "Oh yeah, we have Murphy. He's in with the dogs, he's fine." Her tone left me uneasy. When I arrived, I found Murphy sitting off to the side in the large dog area, panting and looking unhappy. The dogs in the group were very large, and one was jumping excessively on top of other dogs (I'm talking like a kangaroo. 6ft in the air. The dog should be named jelly bean). Murphy, normally playful and confident, seemed timid and off. To make things worse, he was completely soaked -- his belly, legs, tail, everything. The floor of the play area was covered in large puddles of liquid, and while the staff member tried to tell me it was just "water from the hose," it was clearly urine. Once home, it was undeniable from the smell that he had been sitting and lying in urine (possibly mixed with feces). I was told dogs are only walked once a day and use a grass area outside. From what I saw, the indoor space has no toys or stimulation, and the floors are left wet with urine throughout the day. This means the dogs are essentially playing and laying in filth for hours. I left with Murphy timid, drenched in urine, and completely unlike his normal happy self. When I raised concerns, I was met with a dismissive response rather than care or reassurance. While I was in the lobby, I actually asked other people dropping off their dogs if they would recommend this place, since I was so concerned. To my surprise, they said they would. So perhaps some dogs are less sensitive to the environment, need less enrichment, or hygiene isn't as much of a concern to their owners. It's possible I caught the facility on a bad day. I am grateful this was a free trial because I would not have paid for such substandard care. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be bringing Murphy back. I sincerely hope the facility improves its sanitation, communication, and oversight, because the way the dogs are kept now is unacceptable. - I felt providing an update on this review is important for anyone considering bringing their pup to DogTown. After I picked Murphy up from daycare and wrote my initial review, he slept for hours and hours. When he finally woke up, he had developed a severe limp in his front leg. The limp worsened, and he ended up at the vet today. Thankfully, there are no broken bones, but the vet believes it's either a soft tissue injury or a hairline fracture. This almost certainly came from the rough play that's allowed at Dog Town, as Murphy had no issues prior and had just been cleared at the vet the week before during routine vaccines. My poor 5-month-old puppy is now on pain medication and sedation so we can keep him practically on bed rest while we hope his injury heals on its own. The vet also noticed a growth on his lip, which is canine papilloma virus. While I can't say with 100% certainty that it came from here, research shows it's commonly spread in dog daycare and boarding facilities, and the timing makes it very possible. With both of these things, I truly wish I could rate this place negative five stars.

On one stay, my dog was actually bitten by another dog. The only thing they offered was a 10% discount, which barely touched my $800 bill. It didn't feel like they took the situation seriously at all. 2. They also signed me up for their membership to give me some small perk, and when I tried canceling it a month later, it turned into a whole ordeal. I had to reach out multiple times just to get it taken care of, which was ridiculous. 3. And then recently, I booked a short stay on a Monday and wasn't told it was non-refundable. When I asked for a refund two days later, the owner wouldn't give it and only offered credit. I explained that I've already had several issues with them, but it didn't seem to matter. The lack of transparency was on their end, yet I was the one stuck with the loss. At this point, I honestly regret ever bringing my dogs here. The owners seem more interested in sticking to their policies than actually listening to customers or owning up to their mistakes.

When I arrived to pick him up, I was charged $120 with no prior warning. The explanation? His size, knots in his fur, and a keratin treatment I never requested or approved -- none of which were communicated to me beforehand so I could decide. The person in charge also justified the price by saying other places charge $170, so $120 was a deal. That may be true, but it doesn't make it okay to add charges without telling the customer first. When I calmly said this might be my last visit, the person in charge responded rudely, saying they were moving soon so it didn't matter. After 4 years of loyalty, that response said everything. No pricing transparency, unauthorized add-ons, and zero respect for long-term customers. I would not recommend this place.

Big mistake. Right after her visit, I discovered she had developed two fungal ringworm spots. In her four years of life, she has NEVER had any skin issues, not once. Not only has this become stressful and time consuming, but it has impacted her well being and my ability to interact with her normally. I am devastated.
