Absolutely can say that this is one of the best Pet Groomers in Miami. All the employees are so nice and take good care of my dog every visit. I am a loyal client that has been coming to Ana for years. Ana's Pet Grooming team does a great job of making sure my pet's cut is to my liking.

He really does not like wearing this now.

Good afternoon. I went last year to this groomers and I was so satisfied with my toy poodles haircut that I went again 3 weeks ago. (June 23, 2020) This time it was not such a great experience and cost me $200 at the veterinary this morning! When I took my poodle to the groomers on June 23 I took him around 10 am. I asked the lady when I go to pick up my dog and she said that he had 3 other dogs in line before him that she'll be done in a couple of hours and I could pick him up. She said she would call me. It was 12pm (2 hours later) and I hadn't received a call yet so i Called to ask if my dog was done yet. She said that they were doing my dog at that moment and could come get him in a little bit. So I waited 10 minutes and then left to get my dog. When I arrived I had to sit and wait because they were still shaving my dog. I paid and was satisfied with the haircut so I did not complain and just paid and left. I paid for the full grooming which includes the anal gland but it seems this was not done 20 days ago. Recently my dog kept scooting his butt on the carpet. I thought maybe his butt was just itchy so I didn't pay attention to that. I should have... This morning I took my dog to the vet because I was concerned about a cut in his rear end that had just appeared 2 days ago. I wasn't sure how he cut himself and was just going to let it heal because I thought it was a simple cut. But I took him this morning because I didn't want it getting infected and me being a person with a great deal of health problems in the past understand that medical attention can help prevent many sicknesses. The veterinary told me that it was that both his anal glands were very full, one had ruptured hence why there was an open wound that I thought was a cut. She showed me how when she squeezed it the anal gland that burst would release like a white clear liquid that looked like a pus, she said that because the anal glad has not been expressed or drained in a while so it built up and ruptured . I asked her how this was possible if I took him to the groomers less than a month ago where I paid for the anal gland. The vet said that she doesn't know how it could be so full in just a month and sometimes groomers say they drain the anal gland but they do not. My dog needed to be sedated so they can drain the gland and sent him home with painkillers and antibiotics. He now has a recovery dog cone or collar to keep him from licking this wound. This emergency procedure cost me more than $200 today at the vet. Thankfully, the vet will also be teaching me how to drain the anal gland myself so this unnecessary emergency does not happen again. When I called the groomers this morning to complain and speak with the owner (Ana) she said that my dog was groomed 20 days ago and than anal gland could have gotten full in just 20 days. (I'm no animal professional but this comment just seems a bit absurd to me, I've had this dog 3 years and he's spent more than 5 months without going to the groomers and this didn't happen. When I mentioned to her that the groomer was a bit rushed with my dog that day and might have forgotten she just defended her workers and said they always do the anal gland after they bathe them. I told her how my vet saw the anal gland has not been drained in a while she said she could speak to her to tr and solve the problem-- but I'm not going to have my very busy vet waste her time working to call a groomers for the sake of the boss solving a problem. Ana, el problema no se resuelva hablanda con la veterinaria que esta bien ocupada. Pues la culpa no es de mi veterinaria, es de tus trabajadores que NO DRENARON LA GLANDULA. Very sad to have had this awful experience, I've been to a few groomer and this one I actually like. But not anymore. I'd rather pay $30 more for a groomer that actually does the full groom including the anal gland because then I have to pay the vet $200 to fix the problem. All in all, if you do go to this place MAKE SURE THEY DRAIN THE ANAL GLAND.

Ana is an Amazing pet grooming person my baby's come home beautiful and clean after visiting her !!! I recommend her more than anything in this world !!! Good price good service good persons .

They explained that the dogs play all day, have activities, are separated by temperament, and that puppies are carefully monitored. This gave me peace of mind since I had concerns about his joints, breaks, and being around larger dogs since he's just a baby. When I dropped him off, the man at the desk was also professional and explained that Murphy would receive a temperament assessment around lunchtime, and I'd get a call afterward with an update. He said I could either pick Murphy up then or leave him longer depending on how things went. Unfortunately, I never received a call or text. When I finished work and called them, the woman who answered was short and unenthusiastic -- she simply said, "Oh yeah, we have Murphy. He's in with the dogs, he's fine." Her tone left me uneasy. When I arrived, I found Murphy sitting off to the side in the large dog area, panting and looking unhappy. The dogs in the group were very large, and one was jumping excessively on top of other dogs (I'm talking like a kangaroo. 6ft in the air. The dog should be named jelly bean). Murphy, normally playful and confident, seemed timid and off. To make things worse, he was completely soaked -- his belly, legs, tail, everything. The floor of the play area was covered in large puddles of liquid, and while the staff member tried to tell me it was just "water from the hose," it was clearly urine. Once home, it was undeniable from the smell that he had been sitting and lying in urine (possibly mixed with feces). I was told dogs are only walked once a day and use a grass area outside. From what I saw, the indoor space has no toys or stimulation, and the floors are left wet with urine throughout the day. This means the dogs are essentially playing and laying in filth for hours. I left with Murphy timid, drenched in urine, and completely unlike his normal happy self. When I raised concerns, I was met with a dismissive response rather than care or reassurance. While I was in the lobby, I actually asked other people dropping off their dogs if they would recommend this place, since I was so concerned. To my surprise, they said they would. So perhaps some dogs are less sensitive to the environment, need less enrichment, or hygiene isn't as much of a concern to their owners. It's possible I caught the facility on a bad day. I am grateful this was a free trial because I would not have paid for such substandard care. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be bringing Murphy back. I sincerely hope the facility improves its sanitation, communication, and oversight, because the way the dogs are kept now is unacceptable. - I felt providing an update on this review is important for anyone considering bringing their pup to DogTown. After I picked Murphy up from daycare and wrote my initial review, he slept for hours and hours. When he finally woke up, he had developed a severe limp in his front leg. The limp worsened, and he ended up at the vet today. Thankfully, there are no broken bones, but the vet believes it's either a soft tissue injury or a hairline fracture. This almost certainly came from the rough play that's allowed at Dog Town, as Murphy had no issues prior and had just been cleared at the vet the week before during routine vaccines. My poor 5-month-old puppy is now on pain medication and sedation so we can keep him practically on bed rest while we hope his injury heals on its own. The vet also noticed a growth on his lip, which is canine papilloma virus. While I can't say with 100% certainty that it came from here, research shows it's commonly spread in dog daycare and boarding facilities, and the timing makes it very possible. With both of these things, I truly wish I could rate this place negative five stars.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this place has let me down more than once. I've brought…read moremy two small dogs here over the years only when I had no other option, even though the price is already pretty high at $135 a day. 1. On one stay, my dog was actually bitten by another dog. The only thing they offered was a 10% discount, which barely touched my $800 bill. It didn't feel like they took the situation seriously at all. 2. They also signed me up for their membership to give me some small perk, and when I tried canceling it a month later, it turned into a whole ordeal. I had to reach out multiple times just to get it taken care of, which was ridiculous. 3. And then recently, I booked a short stay on a Monday and wasn't told it was non-refundable. When I asked for a refund two days later, the owner wouldn't give it and only offered credit. I explained that I've already had several issues with them, but it didn't seem to matter. The lack of transparency was on their end, yet I was the one stuck with the loss. At this point, I honestly regret ever bringing my dogs here. The owners seem more interested in sticking to their policies than actually listening to customers or owning up to their mistakes.

Big mistake. Right after her visit, I discovered she had developed two fungal ringworm spots. In her four years of life, she has NEVER had any skin issues, not once. This was the very first and it came immediately after being groomed here. Ringworm is highly contagious and extremely difficult to treat. Not only has this become stressful and time consuming, but it has impacted her well being and my ability to interact with her normally. I am devastated. For a grooming facility to allow something like this to happen shows a serious lack of sanitation and hygiene protocols. I am disgusted and extremely disappointed. I have completely lost trust in this place and will make sure other pet owners are aware. Your pets' health and safety should always come first...do NOT take your dog here.

Would give zero stars if possible. They hurt my poor puppy-shaved and burned and cut him with their clippers. I called them because he was going into shock and the receptionist told me to take him to a vet and they'd pay - they have insurance for that. They gave me the run around and now refuse to keep their promise-I don't care anymore because my puppy is OK-thank goodness! But I wanted to be sure to warn anyone else who may consider this business. DON'T! As of 10/27: And in response to Nicholas below-he is no it being truthful, and he knows it. All of my neighbors will attest to the bleeding and cuts when I picked up my dog - they knew it and the front desk clerk, Astrid, told me to get medical care and she would pay. All they did was give me the run around about the reimbursement. And I was promised a phone call from Nicholas from whom I have not heard from to date. Out and out animal abuse and they know it!
