We called for a nail trim, as advised by one of the groomers. They don't take appts for nail trims. Jessica helped Maya today. She was patient with her since she tends to get nervous with strangers. There are benches next to the grooming area and filtered windows so anxious parents can sit and monitor their fur babies, without being detected. There's $5 off M-F 2-6 pm if you have pet perks and the app. $15...not bad. Jessica took the time to show me where to find the Yappy Hour Special on the app. She was great! I can't say too much about this location as I only had contact with them twice. The other day, we came in for a grooming and de-shedding for our German Shepard. Our doggie is very anxious and was treated very well with the groomers. The groomers were nice and gentle. They provided good customer service to us during our visit. For the staff outside of groomers, I cannot say much. We didn't really come into contact with many of them. The store, however, was clean and no messes on the floor when we came. I'll probably come back to update my review once we visit more often. read more

Just left store looking for pet costumes, out of nowhere (Mario) The Mgr newly I might add 7 mos. Says to me " excuse me Mam your dogs may need to go to the bathroom and you might want to take them outside". I have been going to Petsmart for over 20 yrs and have never been approached for this reason, as I was walking towards the exit following his instructions (big mistake) I looked and saw a large mess not caused by my dogs. I came back in the store and the interaction did not feel right. I went up to the register where he was standing and asked why would he would he come up to me assuming my dogs had to use the bathroom; he proceeded to to tell me that he was a Groomer for 20yrs, I responded congratulations and he was insulted (oh well) I then explained to him that I used to get my dogs groomed at this location all the time and he had the nerve to say he recognized me and to me so adding insult to injury. Btw I stopped bringing my dog because she was very quiet for 4 days after her last groom and her rear hind leg was injured, it took along time to heal in retrospect I should have called Headquarters and Mario was her Groomer. I asked Mario how long he had been on the floor and he said 7 mos. A little advice calm down Petsmart is a specialty store and you should be grateful for all your customers and on a positive note which J did tell Mario I always clean up after my dogs. Mario should work on his approach and delivery. Not sure if I will patronize this location in the future. read more

Make sure to go before 6PM. The girls there will tell you they're understaff & will close 1-2 hours before the time. Online it says store closes at 9PM but the ladies will close prior to the time being. I stopped going there for the same reason. Booked a grooming appointment took 4 hours for a bath & brush. When I picked up my dog she told me he was dramatic and screamed a lot, he can be dramatic at times but I've never heard him scream when I've bathed and filed his nails. If he feels pain the most he has done is a quiet yelp but never scream like she demonstrated. When he was brought out he was visibly upset. I wasn't there to witness how he was treated but I know my dog very well. I believe she handled him with excessive force. He now growls when anyone hugs him or gets close to his face I am extremely upset. While picking him up I witnessed her file another dog's nails it let out a loud yelp , I wonder if it too was just being "dramatic" or feeling pain from her griping it's paw. The employees seems miserable and annoyed trying to hide it with a fake smile. Hope they find the patience to be gentle and kind to our fur babies. read more

I went to here to get some fish for my new tank and buy some for my niece (who already had a tank and fish and turtles) but the white lady manager refused to sell me any fish. But never going back to this PetSmart grooming services, my dog has so many white flakes (dandruff) and I personally asked for DeShedding Shampoo and they clearly didn't use it on my dog. I feel like they just rinsed him to make him smell good but never really used the DeShedding shampoo that I personally told them constantly. My dog is shedding more than his usual shedding. I use to go to Petsmart for EVERYTHING. Customer service was wonderful, then COVID hit. So I would then buy what I needed online for Curbside pick up. Everything was going smoothly. I would place an order and literally within two hours my order was ready. Cool!! Things quickly went downhill. Last month is when I came into problem after problem. I would place an order, then six hours later I would go and ask about it and they said, "Oops I'm sorry I forgot to check that your order was fulfilled." Totally understand as their online/Curbside business is become popular. A week goes by before I get my new puppy and I ordered a bunch of new puppy necessities. I again waited six hours and I went to the store. I walk into an empty store and Alan (super nice) said he was sorry that my order wasn't even started. I told him I would help to help him. He was cool with it. Then another worker by the name of Tracy comes and gives me attitude stating," we are understaffed and you should just wait until your order is ready." I tried to explain what happened last time but she would interrupt me. So, my daughter and I waited for an hour and I went up to Tracy and asked if I can help in anyway, She looked at me and said, "no, I have to go through your long order and check everything off. We are short people and you should have just waited." So I stand up front with my daughter waiting. Then she is done and that's when I was able to tell her what happened last time. She told me to call. I said Ok. Four days goes by and this time I only order a harness and two collars. Four hours go by. I called to see if my order was ready. Tracy picked up the phone, she asked for my name, I told her and she said "Oh". She said that she sees my order and that she would get right in it and she asked if I wanted her to call me back. I said no as I'll get an email when it is ready. She said yes and we hung up. An hour goes by. I asked my daughter to call, it was Tracy, she tells my daughter that there is no order there under my name (even when she told me what my item was when u originally called) and I must have purchased it somewhere else and hangs up on her. I call back highly upset, spoke to Ulysis and he was beyond kind. I told him what happened and he said he will pull my order right away as he sees it in the iPad and assured me that the Assistant Store Manager would call me. He did call but I couldn't say what happened. I picked up my items after our conversation. I now do my shopping with Petco. I order online and I get an email it is ready in approx 30 mins. They are very courteous. Even though Petco is across town from where I live but I will go there for their professionalism. We came to this store excited to buy our toddler a fishy. We carefully picked our supplies and tank, an estimate near $100. We planned on getting two small sized gold fish up until the "pet master" young lady worker crushed our happy saturday by refusing to sell us the fish. She recommended us to buy a bigger tank (without knowing what fish we wanted), then advised we come back in a few days with a water sample. If water sample passes, we get the fish, if not, we can look into chemicals to help the water. We walked out. No fish in tow. A sad toddler. But the older lady that "helped" me in the fish section made sure to recommend shopping online instead because it's cheaper at least 3 times. Even though I said we wanted a 75 gal set up plus everything that we'd need. It would've been at least a 1k sale. I guess they're dying good enough to not need it... all I was asking for was some help purchasing the unit. I got "don't have it now can't tell you when we will" and then ignored me when I asked her how long to order it. Just another recommendation to go online... ok deal. I saw Bolivian Rams which I already have 1 and wanted two more, I showed a worker where they were and continued to go to the tank were the label was even though it wasn't the right rank they were in. I told the worker that the Bolivian rams were under the tank she was looking for them in and she insisted that those were not Bolivian rams and that they were golden rams. Lady clipped my puppy's nails and botched them. My poor baby had most of his nails bleeding. She said he had long quicks so she managed to nik them all... seriously?? After 2 or 3 you didn't realize that and start to trim less? He's had his nails trimmed twice before. One pet shop and once by me (an amateur) and no cutting his quicks or hurting him. I'm not an overbearing pet owner, I could understand 1 or 2, but 8 nails cut and bleeding!? Once in the car I took a closer look and some of his nails were clipped way shorter than necessary. Obviously this girl didn't know what she was doing. This is not the way you want your puppy to start out learning and what to expect while getting groomed. I won't be back with my little Louie. The manager Kristine was being extremely rude. We wanted to buy fish we asked a worker to come and help we waited around 10-15 minutes. She walks up and says they are closing when they don't even close intill 9pm. We were there at 8pm. She sat there and angered with us and kept giving me attitude. If you don't like your job. This is by far the worst haircut my poor guy has been given & yet I (initially) walked out without complaining because I know we are all human & sometimes we have days where we don't perform our best. However, that quickly changed when I noticed he was injured. Not only did the groomer (Lindsey) cut him in multiple areas but she didn't tell me. She was nowhere to be found when I asked to speak to her. The manager quickly tried to remedy the situation. She saw the cuts & gave me a reimbursement. The manager also suggested that I take him to the vet and that they'd cover the cost. I took him to the vet & since he started licking his wounds, the vet thought it'd be best to put him on antibiotics and have him wear an inflatable neck collar. My dog was not enthused. I don't think all groomers here are bad. This wasn't our first time here. But Lindsey, whom I was later told was a seasoned groomer, totally ruined it for the rest. I appreciated the managers prompt response but the fact that Lindsey wasn't upfront and honest about injuring him is completely unacceptable. read more

Went to this location being near my home for some feeder food for our bearded dragon. I was looking for some superworms and hornworms,no superworms on the shelf or in back room. Decided to get some mealworms and hornworms.Fed 1 hornworm (2) were in the tub to our beardie and some mealworms as well,this was Saturday noticed Sunday evening the other hornworm was dead. Monday afterwork fed him some mealworms and realized that the first tub of mealworms didn't have nowhere near the 35 count container said decided to count the other container and again not close to 35 count. First impression is best impression well not looking good in my book. Would recommend anyone buy feeder food to count them makesufe you get what you pay for which I will do in front of employee who helps. I made an appointment for my cat and brought all documentation to show vaccination is up to date but they gave the impression that they didn't want to do more work and turned us away. Why would Petsmart hire these kind of people is beyond my comprehension. I didn't feel confident to leave my pet with them. What are they thinking? But today I called up to make an appointment for my little dog his nails are a little too long and is having a hard time walking the young lady said she's not able to help me unless I get a shampoo and a haircut as well, I just lost both my jobs temporarily due to the crisis you think that PetSmart would understand that and work with me but now it's all about the money they like to let you think it's about your animals and you as a customer but today they showed me it's all about the money.
