We've been coming to this grooming location for almost a year now..... Katelyn is amazing to say the least!!! I don't know about any of the other groomers....I don't know about any of these other reviews.....but she is amazing!!! Ask for her. She does a fabulous job and she treats the dogs like she would her own.

Not a fan of this grooming location. Employees were nice, but I got my dog back just as dirty as I left him. Nails looked like they did 3 and left the rest. Ears were still full of dirt. They didn't do a sanitary trim and it was still dirty from playing in the yard. You get what you pay for here and for a big chain like PetSmart I'm guessing they don't care much for bad reviews.

I've been going to PetSmart for as long as I can remember but I will NOT be going back. I scheduled a grooming appointment for my miniature schnauzer Khloe and I get a call from a groomer Adrian that he cut my dog to the point where she needs stitches. He didn't sound or look apologetic, he told me and I quote " yeah it's my fault I should've been holding her" so that tell me being a very loyal and consistent customer that PetSmart employs groomers that are not properly trained but people who don't have an interest in the animals safety

Baby girl loves this place and all the groomers good job folks

I have been going there for many many years and I give him an A+ great work people. I'm sorry so many people experience so many problems in life but this business is a fantastic place to have your animal groomed or even a medically taken care of.

Thankfully we got connected with Kelly, I told her of his quirks and she took her time getting to know him and making sure he felt safe.

I ended up changing my reservation last minute, and they were very accommodating. Josey came back happy & worn out, which makes me a happy dog mom. I also loved how Pup Hub shared fun pictures of the doggies on their Facebook page!! Definitely plan to bring my Josey girl back.

We were very…read moreapprehensive as we've only boarded Artie once and Gwen was abandoned with us and we've never boarded her nor did we know how she'd react. Thankfully, the experience couldn't have been more of a relief. We brought both dogs in before heading to the airport and they immediately took to the staff. The staff assured us they'd be just fine and quickly took care of all administrative items and catalogued their items. Off to the airport we went, still a little worried. We had barely made it through security before we saw a post on Pup Hub's Facebook page welcoming Artie and Gwen with pictures of them playing in the yard. This took a huge weight off our shoulders. Over the next 4 days, Pup Hub posted adorable pictures of them at least three times a day to let us know they were doing well. When we got back, I don't know if the dogs were even ready to go! They seemed to both have a great time and the team there said they did well. They ate their food, enjoyed their treats and played with their toys, which is a great sign they were comfortable. We'll definitely be utilizing Pup Hub in the future!

Pawhootz Pet Resort - Happy boy!

This is an updated review, as Pawhootz was operating as "Animal America" on my previous review, and…read more(I think) was under different ownership or management. I have a different dog now - a Maltese puppy named Maxwell - who is just over a year old. I started bringing him for Day Camp in the first quarter of 2024. He was very timid and unsure of what to do, but the excellent "camp counselors" at Pawhootz were so patient in doing their evaluations and making sure he felt safe and secure. Now, he acts like he owns the place! When I ask him if he wants to "go play," he goes berserk! And as soon as we pull into the driveway, chaos (the good kind) ensues. He has a little BFF that attends regularly, as well. When I pick him up at the end of the day, he is happily exhaunted. I confess that I balked a bit at the price and having to pay all at once at the beginning of each month; however, Maxwell attends day camp three times per week - when I can't work from home and must be in Dallas all day, I have real peace of mind knowing that he is well taken care of. Also, I love peeking in on the Webcam to see him playing with his buddies - it's the best part of my day! The management at Pawhootz is excellent - they are very responsive to questions and concerns, and they actually listen! You can tell that they have a heart for animals, and they treat them as if they were their own. We have been learning about boarding during the holidays. I was confident that he was safe and well cared for during the holidays. And they are working with me to find ways to alleviate his anxiety - puppies get anxious sometimes when we're away for longer than they are used to! We have not had a full groom here yet, but Maxwell got a luxurious bath and blueberry facial recently! They did a lovely job of brushing and cleaning him up - he was a happy peppy puppy when they brought him out to me. In summary, I highly recommend Pawhootz as a reliable, safe, secure, and trustworthy place to board fur babies. Between the creative enrichment activities and the amazing employees, they are a fun place for a few hours or a few days.

I'm writing this on behalf of my mother. She took her Maltese in for a groom and left extremely…read moredisappointed. The haircut was terribly uneven, choppy, and clearly rushed. It honestly looks like whoever groomed him either doesn't know how to cut dog hair or simply didn't care. Some areas look hacked with random layers, while other spots weren't cut at all. It looks less like a professional groom and more like it was done with dull paper scissors. To make matters worse, she dropped her dog off at 7:00am and didn't hear anything until 3:00pm and that was only because she had to call and check if he was ready. I understand they may have been busy or backed up due to reschedules from the ice storm, but that's not an excuse to deliver such poor-quality work. People are paying with their hard-earned money and deserve proper care and a basic level of professionalism especially when it comes to their fur baby. This experience was frustrating and unacceptable, and won't be returning.

We boarded her at Bridget's Pet Resort after hearing so many positive things, and having a couple great daycare days. When my husband picked her up today, she had cuts all over her face and on her paw, to which he was told she has nervous tendencies and they believe she scratched her face on the cage. We received no phone call or email during her stay there. I called up there and spoke with a worker who said "we aren't sure what happened" and that the "owners were hard to get ahold of and I could email them". I'm extremely upset, and worried for my dog. I understand accidents happen, but a call or email would've been nice instead of just giving her back to us like this. I asked for the owners to please give me a call, as I don't feel like an email would cover this. I work long hours and travel often, so I was excited to find a daycare and boarding facility we liked. Update: Shaking as I write this. Just wanted to give an update on my situation at Bridget's Pet Resort. The owner Christine called, and told me to stop harassing her employees, and that I upset someone so bad yesterday they had to leave. I told her my husband picked her up and asked what happened, and I called to ask as well. I called this morning because I hadn't heard from anyone but that is now "harassment". She told me they don't call owners for anxious dogs, and that I should get my dog medicated or in training for anxiety. She took zero accountability for letting me know about the wounds, saying she was alone when they happened and her anxiety isn't their fault. I don't blame anyone for my dogs anxiety, I blame them for not letting me know she was injuring herself. She refused to offer a refund or any compensation for the vet visit last night, and spent the entire 8 minute phone call yelling at me and speaking to me like I was a child and my dog was a huge problem that I needed to fix. The wounds were a few days old per the vet, so this was something that was ignored for days, which aligns with her saying they don't report anxiety or dogs harming themselves. I'm sick to my stomach over this, and can't believe someone like that runs a facility in charge of taking care of animals.
