This review is solely for Eliot H, the groomer. I accidentally booked her instead of Ibrahim and didn't even notice my mistake because my extremely anxious dog was okay with being taken to the back by her-- no whining, barking, or even looking nervous. 30mins later, she called me to pick my dog up because "he was freaking out" and "wouldn't let me touch him". Weird, because he was just fine when he went to the back with her. I picked him up in a matter of minutes -- he was kept in a cage, all wet and had choppy trims all over his body. I inspected him when we got home and found so many cuts on the underside of his body and that area was nearly shaved off down to his skin, which wasn't even the length that I chose.. Pretty sure my dog became scared after being cut so many times by Eliot H. Would've been nice if she had noticed that as his groomer instead of making it sound like he "started freaking out" out of nowhere.

Many many many thanks to Orson Sojo at the grooming department for taking care of Ryder's grooming needs since he was a little pup and now a 1 year old. Ryder loves getting groomed. Orson is patient, kind, friendly, gentle and you can tell that he loves taking care of dogs. I always pick up Ryder after grooming and he's always happy and playful. Please don't forget to give a generous tip after service!

This review is for Maritza. We enrolled our Nalu in her beginners class. Our pup learned a lot of commands and Maritza patiently worked with our pup and I to correct my mistakes. Nalu finished her beginners class and told us what should we do next. I will enroll my pup in Maritza's private class. If your pup needs some training Maritza can help.

Love this spot for Fido. This is our new Go-To groomer. We used to go to the boutique groomers, but it got way expensive. Petsmart is much more reasonable. Our dog loves Gerard the groomer, we always request him. He is very reliable, gives a great cut, and is gentle with our dog.

Unfortunately I gave this petsmart a second chance to groom my dog and I have to say Jane did a horrible job on my dogs grooming. Not only was he in there for 3 hours but he came out with the worst cut I have ever seen. She went too high on his head, didn't trim his ears at all, didn't squeeze him because he smells like fish, she also cut the hair around his eye way too low and he was bleeding where he was neutered. I could have done this haircut at home honestly and maybe would have done a much better job. Sorry petsmart grooming, I will never be returning because you wasted my $100

Eliot has been doing some miracles with my little boy. Eliot has managed an unmanageable, rowdy little pup and for Eliot's patience and great work, I am so grateful. Puppy cut, nail trim and overall grooming. Thank you.

Little buddy

It's always tough to rate chain stores since the staff and policy and products are always changing. This is for my personal experiences from January 2025 give or take a few months before and after! I see horror stories from many people about chain pet stores but when i came here to buy a reptile the staff were very knowledgeable and honest. They weren't trying to just make a sale rather they were teaching me the resources a bearded dragon would need. In fact i wanted a chameleon at first and the employee helping me was realistic about the care and steered me towards a beardie. Then when said employee had to go on lunch a second employee (manager i think) informed me further about the resources and space i would need. I actually came back on a separate trip days later to actually buy because i had to do some research! Even after i called and had questions the staff were very patient. Even on many other visits for dog items and bugs etc the employees have all been very polite and helpful. Lucky to have a good store nearby.

Hi, I would like to ask if you can please assist with getting this story out to other consumers, so it doesn't happen to them. My dogs were dropped off clean, healthy and playful on February 1st, 2025. All began to transpire February 4,2025 and have continued. I picked up my two dogs hurt, filthy, both with cones. They were not themselves; Chat was scared (tail was between his legs) and you could tell he was in pain, he could not sit down or lie for more than a few minutes. Chuy seemed very lethargic. I asked if he was depressed or did the medicine make him sleepy. Nicole read the bottle, and she said no, it doesn't make him sleepy. (bottle says yes) I picked them up February 7, 2025. I also need help getting answers from PetSmart as to what really happened to both my dogs. Below you will see I got a few different stories. I have asked for a copy of the incident report; I have asked them to review cameras, but they don't have cameras in the kennels. No one heard or seen anything, yet they have a few different stories. I also didn't receive any paperwork at pick up, from PetSmart like their paw-gress report I received the paperwork from the vet. 3 meals (that means they were not fed 3 of their meals.) I sent them the invoice of my vet that examined my dogs the next day after picking them up. The information was altered without my knowledge or consent. Specifically, line 14 of the document in question was left blank by us, and any alterations to it are not authorized. As a reminder, legal documents must be signed in black or blue ink, not red. Please ensure that any future communications or documentation reflect the correct and unaltered information. Please the time lines of events as of Tuesday 02-04-25 The series of calls we received on Tuesday regarding Chato. To recap, we received a missed call at 5:53 pm, followed by a call at 5:57 pm from Nicole. Nicole informed us that Chato had an irritation to his testicles and would need treatment. During a subsequent call at 6:07 pm, Nicole stated that Chato would require a spray and a cone, and that our emergency contact would need to pick him up due to PetSmart's policy on cones. After her speaking to someone she came back and said they will make an exception this time. Please note that her statement regarding the cone is not consistent with line ten of the service agreement. Additionally, at 7:41 PM, I was informed by Nicole that Chato had his cone on and was preparing for bed, and that the medication had been applied. Now in regards to Chuy. We received a voicemail 02-05-25 at 4:09 PM. "Hi, I'm calling from PetSmart **** **** PetSmart I'm just calling because I wanted to let you know some information about Chuy. If you can give us a call back as soon as you can that would be great thank you...." Not sure who left the message as they did not identify themselves on the message. We returned the phone call at 4:55 PM we were on hold 6 minutes, we hung up and called back at 5:02 PM and spoke with Dona, who said Chato bit Chuy in the ear, I asked when did it happen? Dona said it happened last night and we ( not sure who we is ) noticed it this morning. I stated and you are notifying me now at 5:10! I said this was not acceptable. I let her know I have never had any medical issues with Chato and have had both Chuy and Chato from when they were puppies and the have never done this. She said that Chuy needed to be examined. Said I wanted to speak to a supervisor she said she won't be in until tomorrow. I said these are like my kids and a call till tomorrow is not acceptable I want to speak to someone now. Dona asked me to hold ( note this phone call was 34 minutes long 11 minutes of that call was on the phone with Dona and 23 of it was on hold for a supervisor) as I was on hold, I received a call from Tristan at 5:37 saying he was told to call me I let him know I was actually on hold over 20 minutes waiting to speak to a supervisor. Tristan said that could have been my fault

Just a friendly update. Hours have changed. Yelp has it posted for 900AM versus 930AM Monday thru Friday. Staff is courteous and friendly.

Overcrowded and far too small tanks

This store deserves negative stars. I was happy to see they were finally upgrading their aquatics department. Needless to say I was horrified. Dozens of koi shoved in ridiculously tiny tanks, dozens of dead fish. Some of which are literally MOLDING in the tanks. Overall the fish are overcrowded and clearly sick. I'm absolutely appalled.

This is for the fantastic nail trim and file for our crazy dog Cora! It was Cora's first time here and she was a little anxious, but the team was able to keep her calm. Jade did such a good job with her nails, they are short, tidy, and filed! Beautiful work. Will be back next time.

We first enrolled about a year ago and Michael and Martha did an intake evaluation to make sure Pippa would fit in. After that Pippa was enrolled in their daycare 2x a week. One fabulous thing about Wiggling Tails is that they do pick up and drop offs in the city! Michael, Martha, and team are excellent communicators and are willing to be flexible. I LOVE all the fun photo shoots they do. They are so creative and go above and beyond. I'm including in my post the Valentine's Day and Mother's Day photo shoots which they framed for me . In addition to the photo shoots they will take action shots and videos of your pup during the day. I have always felt safe sending Pippa to Wiggling Tails. Pippa is always so excited when she sees the Wiggling Tails van and will literally leap into the crate in the back (and she hates crates)! I love Wiggling Tails and highly highly recommend them. It's been the best decision I've made for Pippa. Thank you Martha, Michael, and team for all you do for Pippa!

Not only do I trust and love Wiggling Tails for my dog's weekly daycare (and periodically overnight boarding), but Lizou LOVES them too... He knows that when he goes to Daycare, he's in for a day of fun with some doggos AND some humans. Getting Lizou integrated into the Wiggling Tails schedule at a young age (~6months) was the BEST decision we ever made -- for me, and for Lizou (for structure, for dog friendliness, etc.). I actively recommend my friends' pups to consider them too! Now, Lizou even has dog friends that he has known from "the outside" within the Daycare schedule! Also.. the pickup/drop off schedule is one of a kind in the bay area, and SO convenient to work around work schedules! One additional note to add to my review of their high quality, loving, clean, and SAFE care of dogs, is that you never know what special gems the staff and owners will surprise and delight you with... whether it's neat swag, special holiday-themed photo-ops, or action videos from daily play... From the moment I reached out, I felt like my husky lab Kuma would be in the best hands. Chantel is incredibly responsive, kind, and passionate about dogs. Chantel and her team have looked after Kuma a few times now, and I'll definitely keep coming back. During my recent trip, I received daily updates and adorable photos that reassured me he was happy and well-cared for. City Girls Dog Care followed my care instructions perfectly.
