We stumbled upon Diablo dog because we had a horrible situation happen with our prior dog walker. I gave Diablo the third degree with 21 questions. Matt, the owner, was patient and understanding. He answered every question with compassion and free of judgement. He assured me our baby would be safe, and even suggested types of collars she could use if I wanted to watch her whereabouts while I was at work. The suggestions and compassion gave me such peace of mind. Moo has been walking with Diablo Dog walks for maybe six (?) months now and she couldn't be happier. She knows when I put her tracker on, she gets to see her friends. She has a positive association with it which shows me she has an amazing time. The dog walkers are all friendly. They each send me photos of my baby hanging out with her friends. They report on her energy level and inform me whether she pooped or not. They even tell you what it looks like so you can be aware of deviations from the norm. They are also accommodating when they can be to life situations. We were in the middle of a hectic move and going back and forth between two addresses. Matt so generously let me drop Moo off for doggy day care last minute and another time booked Moo a same day walk. He didn't scold me for the last minute request... he was understanding about life and volatility in schedules, and did what he could to help. This behavioral trainer told me I should return my dog to breeder. I should never fall asleep with this breed on my bed (Pomeranians) as they could bite my face off. She continued to tell me all these horrible stories abt poms. I was so confused and upset when I hung up. My husband insisted I get another opinion. I found Jayne's info online the next day and called her. She came over same day because she knew how upset I was and she wanted to meet my fur baby. Needless to say, she is amazing! I am so happy I made that call! My pom is now 5 yo and he is fabulous! Sweet, entertaining, and so well-behaved because of Jayne's training!

As a first-time puppy owner, I wasn't sure what to expect or if puppies just naturally outgrow certain behavioral issues. Either way, this is the only formal training she has ever had, and the results speak for themselves. She came back so incredibly well-behaved. And has reminded well behaved. When we go out in public, people always come up to see her because she's cute, but what they *constantly* comment on is how exceptionally well-behaved she is for an 8-month-old puppy. It is so validating to hear that from strangers! I love and fully agree with Anthony's methods and what he does here. If you want a well-behaved dog, Powerhouse K9 is the only place to go. We had maintained a nice foundation but felt it was appropriate based on a myriad of factors. We were placed with Emily and our experience was excellent. We knew Emily from many of our group trainings but had yet to do extensive one on one with her. Emily's approach is honest, consistent, soft (but firm) and very relatable. She was communicative in every way and made us feel safe. Given we had already done one camp we felt comfortable with the facility but each trainer brings their own nuance. Emily was clear and concise with each weekly update- she was really positive and had a ton of healthy feedback. Training is a huge investment of time and money.... Something we don't take lightly, but we have felt it was incredibly worth it both times. The continued support offered is 10/10, the communication is consistent and the general vibe is that everyone really wants to be there, including all the pups. Our dog has been home one full week, and we feel really good about the tools we've been given for continued success.

After I left an honest review about my experience, they responded by threatening to sue both me and a rescue I volunteered with at the time. That alone should raise serious concerns about how they handle accountability. I visited daily for the entire month my dog was there, so what I'm saying is based on what I personally saw over and over again--not a one-time impression. Their "training" methods included physically poking dogs in the side and neck. The dogs did not appear to be properly fed and did not have consistent access to water. Over that month, I watched dogs lose weight, become withdrawn, and show clear signs of stress and shutdown behavior. I also personally saw a dog who was extremely underweight, had visible sores, and smelled strongly of urine and feces, as if she had been left sitting in it. No dog should ever be in that condition--especially in a place people are paying to care for and train their animals. It honestly concerns me that they still have positive reviews, because in my experience, the longer a dog stays there, the more concerning the changes become. I'm posting this again now because someone I know recently considered bringing a foster dog there. I made it very clear that no dog in my care will ever go anywhere near this place. If you care about your dog, do your research, ask questions, and trust what you see. I would strongly urge anyone considering this facility to visit frequently and unannounced.

I've had seven dogs in my lifetime and had never experienced anything like this before. Cavaliers are known for being loving, gentle dogs, so having an 11-pound puppy that I felt nervous around was heartbreaking. I truly wasn't sure Olivia and I would ever have a good relationship again. I was scheduled to travel to Mexico over Christmas but couldn't take her due to her behavior. Brad went above and beyond -- he kindly arranged to pick her up the very night I left on a red-eye flight and enrolled her in a 4-week board-and-train bootcamp. Yes, the program is an investment, but it is absolutely worth every penny. Brad and Camille worked their magic. Olivia came back a completely different puppy -- loving, responsive, and happy. It honestly feels like night and day. I know I still need to do my homework and stay consistent, but just one week after her return, the transformation has been incredible. One thing I really appreciate is the ongoing support. Brad offers unlimited texts and calls for questions and guidance, which has been invaluable as we continue reinforcing her training at home. This also wasn't my first experience with Brad. He was recommended to us years ago when we got our older dog, a yellow Labrador named Bourbon. Every now and again Brad's facility will take in rescue dogs who will undergo the full board and train program. I was lucky enough to be able to adopt Tarkin, a a cattle dog mix. I believe he had been under the care of Brad and his team for almost (maybe more?) a year but did not have much like in finding a potential adopter until I saw a post on Instagram and reached out. Right off the bat, Tarkin was very well behaved, knew the basic commands (sit, down-stay, leave it, wait, place, etc). Brad even provided a collar to continue with his training, was responsive via text MONTHS after adoption, and would always offer to come by for a follow-up training session. Fortunately, we have not needed an in-person session, but to be able to continue having him as resource by phone has been amazing and I am so grateful. Brad and Camille (Tarkin's other main trainer) have created such a wonderful foundation of training that I've been able to build off of, even as a new dog owner. Given my experience with Tarkin, I would highly recommend reaching out to Brad and his team about potential rescues available for adoption, or to see what training packages they have to offer. We stopped in last Sunday 8/16 - we spend at least $500 every month or so on supplies - and Kitty 911 was there. There was a huge sign saying "ADOPT ME" on a cage with a little white kitten, so my wife watched the kitten for a while and then asked to hold her. We have been looking for a white kitten. The person she asked must not have liked my wife for some reason, because she snatched the cage away and announced that the kitten was "not available". She seemed to be in a hurry to get it away and said something about "medical issues". I went to talk to her (I didn't get her name, but she is tall and has curly blond hair) and said we were interested in seeing the white cat. She said that it was not available and had multiple medical issues. I asked her what the issues were. She was taken aback and after hesitating, said that she had seen tapeworms at home that morning and that they didn't have any medicine to treat them at the store, so she needed to take it back home. This is despite the fact that there was an open Banfield Pet Hospital literally 100 feet from where we were standing, who undoubtedly had deworming meds in stock. Also, why would you bring in a kitten with tapeworms to an event like this when a single flea might pass it along to the other cats? This was all just gaslighting. We are usually happy to see Kitty 911 and we even adopted a Russian Blue from them at this PetSmart a few years ago. I really don't understand why this one person was so angry and rude to my wife, but she certainly made us both feel very unwelcome. I think that the manager at this location might want to reconsider having Kitty 911 on site if they are making their best customers consider if they want to return, or at least interview the people that show up and interact with PetSmart customers.

So cuddos to you guys for this! When you get inside the establishment it's very clean and you can see where stuff is at really quick. Love the choices they have for pet treats. One thing for sure is that they do need more customer service we are here to see about a pet adoption but it seems like they don't want these pets to go to homes. We have been waiting to hopefully hold one to see if I get a reaction from it but still nobody is helping us. Well we have been decline to adopt suki it's okay no worries it was probably not meant to be. How ever we did adopt 2 tabby cats from joybound rescue it was buy one get one we took the brother and sister so we are happy and blessed to welcome 2 new family members I did go back to this store to get my kitty supplies and I'm happy to say that I'm happy with everything I bought. Now I won't drag this I will say it I will continue to go back for all my pet supplies and needs but will not go back for pet adoptions it just seems like they are not thinking of the kittens/ cats for people that want to give them homes. I can just say petsmart do better have someone that can rehome these kittens/cats or animals that are wanting to get out of that cage they are in.
