Cilley Veterinary Clinic - Veterinarians Near Me - Concord, New Hampshire

While we had good experiences on the vet side at first, the boarding/daycare side ruined any trust we had with Cilley. One woman who claims to be the manager and claims to have the most experience with animals regularly verbally assaults customers during pick up and drop offs. I have both been yelled at by her and seen her yell at others. The things she is choosing to yell at people about are not relevant to the daycare at all, clearly this woman enjoys power tripping and trying to make people feel like bad owners. Not only is that just obviously bad practice, it's rude, it's unkind, and it's unacceptable. Another point that apparently needs to be made: Picking up a dog for not doing what you want them to do is not correction!!!!!! A real dog trainer would know that. Really makes me concerned about what else happens behind the scenes. Finally, ANY medical test/procedure should REQUIRE DAY OF CONSENT! We didn't know we were gonna be charged for a fecal test and I would have preferred to bring it in myself had I known it was needed. I'm not going to blindly agree to medications and results from an unreliable source. We got a second test done with a different vet and those results confirmed everything we needed to know about how Cilley does business. Will not return, will not recommend. read more

Cilley Animal Clinic is the only Vet I will bring my Cat, Émile, to. In a world of private equity eating up everything, including the Vet's office, it's refreshing to see a locally owned clinic that's main focus is genuinely serving the community it is located in. Émile receives some of the most top-notch quality care in the clinic, and all staff members make what would normally be a stressful experience, a pleasant and calming one. They are so welcoming and so affectionate towards my animal. Thank you Cilley! read more

Operated on my cat and didn't fix the problem at all, he still has eyelashes going in his eyes. I paid for nothing. Terrible Dr.. Has made many prescription mistakes for my dogs and has admitted it to me also has sent the wrong prescription to be prescribed to the pharmacy. They are not a good veterinarian practice. read more

Horrible. The lady on the phone is an absolute bitch and asked me extremely rude and inappropriate questions that had nothing to do with my dog. Quoted me $800 for one porcupine quill removal. I took my business elsewhere because of her bad attitude and disrespect. Went to CAVES, (the emergency vet) and only paid $500 + they cut her nails for free too! How is the emergency vet less expensive then my dogs local vet? Seems like robbery to me. Spoke to multiple coworkers of mine who have lived in concord their whole lives and they have all said that one women who answers the phone is always very disrespectful. I will never take my dog here ever again. They have lost my business for good. Highly recommend looking into any other vet. read more

My vets could not take me in , this one saw me right away. Even though the results were not what I wanted. My baby is not suffering. Every one was so nice and I couldn't asked for a better place. Just moved to Concord, was looking for a vet, sent our Yorkie here for teeth cleaning. She needed an extraction - the bill was off the chain! That not withstanding (allowing for market differences that would double the price compared to atlanta) when our dog was sedated, we asked for her nails to be trimmed. They either just didn't do it - or they missed half of them. We called back about this and they wanted us to take off time from work to come in during a weekday to accommodate their miss. I have seen groomers miss a nail or two, but I expect more from clinicians. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a vet to have attention to detail. I was disappointed and will be looking for a new vet. read more

Have used Cilleys for several years, but the pricing has gotten out of control. Had 2 dogs, down to one now and for a simple urine stick, it was 70.00. And then they wanted to repeat it for another 70.00. This after she had been in for diahrea and the owner put her through multiple test to the tune of 300.00 read more

We have been going to Cilleys for 10 plus years for our cats and dogs! We trust them 100% with our pets! They do a great job keeping our pets happy and healthy! We especially appreciate how thorough and precise Dr Heck is with all of our appointments giving us well educated advice so that we can better our pets health! I've lived and gone to vets everywhere from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Texas, and I can say without a doubt this is the best place I have ever taken my dog to. I don't often feel compelled to write a review, but when a place is as amazing as this, and you see a bad review, you feel the need to speak up. First of all- the facility is always so clean when I come in, they really make health and cleanliness a priority there. Second - the staff is AMAZING. I've had appointments with all three doctors on staff, and of any of the clinics I've ever gone to, they are the best I've worked with, they are so honest and good at what they do. I literally don't have a single complaint- Dr. Heck is so friendly and did a great job on my dogs spay and dental. Dr Ackerson is sweet and so thorough, she always goes the extra mile. And Dr. Farrell, who I just learned works (or worked?) at CAVES, is so accommodating and efficient!! And the staff of technicians are fabulous as well. They have always done everything they can to accommodate my needs when scheduling, and when my dog has been sick, even if they had no appointments available, I was able to drop my dog off, and they did a complete work up on what was supposed to be their lunch break. I couldn't believe it! My dog even needed a cyst drained once, at 3 pm on a Friday (of course) ... The veterinarian on staff that day didn't even hesitate to stay a couple minutes later to squeeze in and perform the procedure so I wouldn't have to go to caves. I've never had that kind of care before, you can tell they love and care about your pets as much as you do. They are just the sweetest people I've ever met... and I'm from the south so that's saying something!! They always remember who I am, take an interest in my dog and I like family and friends rather than customers. Lastly, I've met the groomer, Shelley. My dog regularly has baths and grooms with her, and she has always done an amazing job!! If you have any concerns about her, please go down and meet her, you will see immediately what a kind, light hearted person she is. And she is so thorough about making sure she has all the information to make sure you get exactly what you want. I don't know what happened to the person who put one star but it sounds like they didn't communicate, or Shelley got the animal and the long hair coat was so knotted it was kinder to the animal to clip it rather than comb out a million knots. Having gone to Shelley for a couple years now (and having had a long haired dog before), there must have been some miscommunication between the owners or from the owners to Shelley. Anyways, I just love her and all of Cilley's incredible staff!! If you are in the NH area, definitely go check them out, you will see what I am talking about!!! Ive taken my dogs to Cilley before, once when my little Pomeranian got into a fight with a porcupine and needed quills pulled out, and a couple times to get my dogs spayed/neutered. I'm always treated with respect, and my animals are always well cared for. They are also pretty good at getting you in for appointments quickly. Cilleys is an amazing veterinary facility. Dr. Heck and Dr. Kate have taken care of our dogs and cat for years . They take the time to listen to us and to answer all of our questions at every visit. The support staff are conscientious, knowledgeable and caring. I also board my dogs at least yearly and appreciate the TLC shown to my pets. read more

I have to recommend Cilley Vet Clinic with everyone that has little fur babies. We met with Dr. Kate and her staff yesterday morning for the first time as our Boxer, Bentley was having serious discomfort in his hind legs. I have never felt more secure and confident in a practice. She thoroughly checked Bentley, provided us with a bunch of information, and guided us in the best route for Bentley's care. For a first visit we were incredibly impressed and felt very fortunate to have Bentley in their care. After we left around 12:00, we headed home and Bentley was a bit better. By four o'clock he was not feeling well and in contacting the office, Cynthia responded back to me right away and made me feel much better. She immediately had a prescription sent over to our pharmacy and it was exactly what Bentley needed. This morning, we both received phone calls looking to check up on Bentley's well-being. We are so happy that we found Cilley Vet and it is all due to the reviews we read. Please consider them when switching vets or looking for assistance, they are truly the best around. Cilley is a wonderfully compassionate, dedicated and competent Verterinary Clinic. I highly recommend every aspect of their care, including grooming with Shelley.
