This review is for the grooming salon: Today I took Teddy to get professionally groomed for the first time in his life (he's 2.5). I'm a former groomer and have been grooming him at home since we got him. However I wanted a break lol and I wanted to see how it would go so I can continue to have him be groomed by someone other than myself. Needless to say, as a former groomer, I had fairly high expectations, haha. Teddys groomer was Alex and she did a fantastic job. Clean even cut, round little face and short beard. She said Teddy did well but he didn't like the dryer too much. I am thankful she gave him a good first experience. Overall Alex did a great job and I will likely bring him back to her again in a few months when it's time for another trim. Thanks Alex!!

I love that they have the best selection of foods for our pets as well as accessories. Always clean and well stocked with friendly workers.

This is my go to place for all of my cat's needs! They tend to have a large variety of cat food brands and types. They have different types of treats with value packs. I love that they do price match and would highly suggest to ALWAYS check the price online! Their price match is with their own website OR Chewy. Every time I go, I always walk the aisles and check the other animals as it's entertaining for me.

    Kona says thank you Dustin!

This past holiday season, my 6 month puppy played hard and was all matted up. The poor guy was so uncomfortable. I called PetSmart and explained that I needed special attention for my puppy. Dustin took care of him and was exceptional. He was patient, loving and super supportive to a puppy who had never had to have fur trimmed and combed out. I highly recommend him for his compassion and gentleness for future grooming and haircuts. I wish I lived closer so he could be my regular groomer.

There is a hospital and a dog hotel with everything your dog needs, so you can leave your dog with peace of mind. The staff is very friendly. I use the dog hotel often and they give good reviews. You can leave it with peace of mind and go on a trip or do personal business. I give you the highest score

I have been to this Petsmart for years. Shanna is the lady I always talk to and she is the sweetest person ever! I came to get my kitty some food and treats today, I used to come every week for my dog but now that she is gone :( I only come once a month or so. But I do enjoy coming here just walking around seeing all the new pet stuff and say hi to the kitty's they have. Have a beautiful day :) Aloha to you and be kind to everyone.

Chloe new hair by Mallory G :)

(Grooming department) Mallory G.. I can't say enough great things about her. We've been taking our little Chloe to her since she was a pup. She's gonna be 4 soon and Mallory G has always taken such good care of our baby. She leaves our Chloe looking just so beautiful. She's the only one we trust with her. All the different hair styles she's done on Chloe are just so on point. We have 100% trust in her.

Nova isn't a huge player, but she loves to observe and get attention from the humans. I love watching her on the webcam hang out with dogs that are her same temperament. She was having really bad separation anxiety when I went to work ever since her older sister passed. Taking her to Smarte Parke while I am at work has helped so much with both of our peace of mind. We drive up and she is so excited to go see all her doggo friends (and human ones too!) Thank you for being so caring to all the dogs! I've been bringing my dog here for daycare and boarding, and overall I've had a really positive…read moreexperience. To be transparent, my very first visit had a few hiccups. I was thankful that they accepted my county vaccination paperwork and that I was able to board my dog privately until she was spayed (which I did complete). There were some initial issues related to camera access and paperwork that were a bit frustrating at the time. The camera issue itself ultimately appeared to be more of a technical problem, but the initial communication at the front desk left me feeling like my concerns weren't fully heard. Looking back, it seems like something that could have been easily clarified with better communication. That said, coming from a customer service background, I believe it's important to give businesses the opportunity to address concerns before forming a final opinion. What really stood out to me was how the management team handled everything. They reached out, listened, and took my concerns seriously. They made the effort to explain, correct, and improve the experience, and followed up in a way that felt genuine and accountable. The issue was addressed quickly, and I truly believe they used the feedback as an opportunity to improve, which I really respect. Since then, I've continued bringing my dog here regularly - including overnight stays - and the difference has been clear. The staff is attentive, kind, and very in tune with the dogs. They recognize her, look forward to seeing her, and consistently keep me informed about how she's doing, including any concerns. She is treated with patience and care. They've also gone above and beyond in ways that meant a lot to me. They honored a daycare promotion I had missed when I first enrolled, and during a recent visit when my dog had been sprayed by a skunk, the team was incredibly attentive and helped clean her thoroughly and thoughtfully. That level of care made a stressful situation so much easier. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the team members who work directly with the dogs genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. I have no doubt that they have the dogs' best interests in mind, even knowing how challenging it can be to manage so many different personalities. No place is perfect, and dogs can be unpredictable, but what matters most to me is how a business responds when something doesn't go as planned. In this case, they made it right, and that's why they've become my go-to for daycare and boarding. I'm very thankful to have found them, and my dog clearly feels comfortable there, which says everything.

There's plenty of room for the dogs to run around and play comfortably. What made me feel the most reassured is that they don't just "keep" the dogs there -- they actually spend time playing with them, observing their behavior, and caring about their emotions. If your dog wants to socialize and play with other dogs, they do require proof of vaccinations including Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP. They also do a simple temperament test (around 20 minutes), which honestly made me feel they're super responsible and genuinely care about the safety and well-being of every dog. As pet owners, the hardest part about traveling isn't the distance -- it's worrying whether our fur babies are truly being cared for. At Dogden, you really get a sense of peace of mind. They understand dogs so well. It's not just boarding -- they treat every dog like a little kid and care for them with so much love and attention. I appreciated that they take time to understand each dog's personality -- mine is pretty social, so group play worked well, but it's nice they also offer more private options. Overall, a reliable option for daycare or boarding.

As he settled in my home, he became increasingly aggressive towards other people -- friends, family, and strangers alike, whether in the home or outside of the home. Sully was even aggressive towards my husband, and it felt like I was at a loss. I needed to do something before he actually ended up hurting someone. After explaining what was happening with Sully with the organization I was fostering from, they said they would need to put him down for the safety of the community. I couldn't let that happen, so I decided to keep him and find professional help. This is where John came in. After doing research online, I came across his Yelp page, where there were raving reviews of him helping aggressive dogs, so I took a chance. On his first day meeting John, Sully growled, hissed, and lunged at John. Sully tried to bite both him and me. John spent about an hour with me explaining what was going to happen and some training basics, and honestly, it was hard for me to focus because I was so nervous of Sully hurting someone in the moment. John was very patient, and showed me 5x how to hold a leash properly because I just couldn't focus from nervousness. I've never seen Sully so aggressive, and John explained it's because it was the first time someone was checking him and keeping him in his place. Sully stayed with John for a little over two weeks, and in that time, they went on ADVENTURES. I mentioned to John that Sully was afraid of water, aggressive with strangers, and other very specific things, and John made sure to tackle all of them. He sent me pictures and videos of his adventures throughout their time together. They went on a ferry, hiked to a waterfall, and so so much more. When there was a concern or something to celebrate, John was sure to communicate with us what was going on. In addition, due to personal circumstances, we needed to have Sully stay with John a few more days, and John was so understanding and accommodated us. I finally have my sweet boy back, and I see so much of a difference. He is calmer, more responsive, and he's running through my sprinklers now. LOL. It still takes him a bit to warm up to other people, but he's not as on guard or on edge as he was before. I'm excited to continue his progress at home, and I'm sure we will see John and Sara for future stays! Here are just a few of my favorite pictures of his adventures with John and Sara. :)
