    First and only place we've taken our sweet girl over the last year. Very reasonably priced and they do such a good job. Even if it's something they don't recommend, but the customer prefers, they deliver! Our Jinny girl always comes home smelling nice and looks beautiful. Her coat shines as well. We asked if they would apply her flea and tick treatment at bath or haircut time and they do so willingly. If we tried we'd end up with the solution on us! Thanks Groom & Board for the wonderful service!

    TAKE NOTE OF THIS REVIEW!!!! I just had my first experience with Groom & Board at the corner of Rose Drive and Yorba Linda, Blvd. What a great experience. I've tried different groomers over the years. At least 5 others. None compared to Groom & Board. Reasonably priced and great TLC as well. I was able to watch the grooming experience live. The expertise and precision was so professional and I could see that my Puppies (Mardi & Bruno) were so comfortable with the experience. I will recommend everyone I know to go see Ernie and his Wife's team. They ROCK!!! Paul in Yorba Linda

    Sharing my personal experience here as I've been going to Groom and Board for years! They were one of the only places that my very nervous pup felt comfortable in for boarding, which likely has to do with the fact that he is not caged or put into a kennel for most of the day. That pup has since passed away, but I am super grateful to Groom and Board for the patience and kindness they showed towards him! We recently got a new dog and have been going to Groom and Board for both her grooming and boarding. She has never come back anxious or with any issues and they do a great job with grooming, even if my pup tends to move around a lot :)

    They are great with our pups, pika and Paisley! Very kind and do a great job grooming our dogs. So glad we found this local place.

I thought that was a huge plus. All new dogs are required to provide vaccination records, and they also do about a 20-minute temperament assessment before joining. Based on each dog's personality, they arrange suitable playgroups instead of just mixing all the dogs together. The staff are also very professional and attentive. He was really worried about his hair not growing out nicely but I told him that he's received this haircut multiple times before by other groomers. Little did I know that because my dogs breed has a double coat, cutting into it will cause the inner coat not to grow out. Thank you for teaching me about my dogs coat and what is best. I appreciate the transparency and care you have towards the care and needs of our babies. Now for the experience: Louis came out looking fabulous! To be honest, I felt pressured to write my first review just to receive a discount, which already didn't sit right with me. I usually prefer to wait until I've had a few visits before leaving feedback. At the time, everything seemed fine the cut was good, and I liked how the master groomer handled my dog. However, during my most recent visit, I specifically asked them not to cut my dog's eyelashes. (Was growing them for a photo shoot) When I picked her up this past Friday, they had clearly cut them anyway. This was upsetting because I gave clear instructions, and they were ignored. I called to address the issue, and while the person on the phone did apologize, it felt very dismissive more like "what can we do for you?" than genuine concern. There was no real accountability, and it felt like it wasn't taken seriously. Over the four visits I've had, I've also noticed a pattern of upselling services and pressure tactics. On top of that, I've been told that tips given to employees don't actually go directly to them, which is very concerning. What really sealed it for me was being asked, after leaving a 4-star review, why I didn't give 5 stars. There was no appreciation just expectation for more. Because of all of this, I'm changing my review from 4 stars to 1. Honestly, if I could give zero, I would.

She was having really bad separation anxiety when I went to work ever since her older sister passed. Taking her to Smarte Parke while I am at work has helped so much with both of our peace of mind. We drive up and she is so excited to go see all her doggo friends (and human ones too!) Thank you for being so caring to all the dogs! I was thankful that they accepted my county vaccination paperwork and that I was able to board my dog privately until she was spayed (which I did complete). There were some initial issues related to camera access and paperwork that were a bit frustrating at the time. The camera issue itself ultimately appeared to be more of a technical problem, but the initial communication at the front desk left me feeling like my concerns weren't fully heard. Looking back, it seems like something that could have been easily clarified with better communication. That said, coming from a customer service background, I believe it's important to give businesses the opportunity to address concerns before forming a final opinion. What really stood out to me was how the management team handled everything. They reached out, listened, and took my concerns seriously. They made the effort to explain, correct, and improve the experience, and followed up in a way that felt genuine and accountable. The issue was addressed quickly, and I truly believe they used the feedback as an opportunity to improve, which I really respect. Since then, I've continued bringing my dog here regularly - including overnight stays - and the difference has been clear. The staff is attentive, kind, and very in tune with the dogs. They recognize her, look forward to seeing her, and consistently keep me informed about how she's doing, including any concerns. She is treated with patience and care. They've also gone above and beyond in ways that meant a lot to me. They honored a daycare promotion I had missed when I first enrolled, and during a recent visit when my dog had been sprayed by a skunk, the team was incredibly attentive and helped clean her thoroughly and thoughtfully. That level of care made a stressful situation so much easier. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the team members who work directly with the dogs genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. I have no doubt that they have the dogs' best interests in mind, even knowing how challenging it can be to manage so many different personalities. No place is perfect, and dogs can be unpredictable, but what matters most to me is how a business responds when something doesn't go as planned. In this case, they made it right, and that's why they've become my go-to for daycare and boarding. I'm very thankful to have found them, and my dog clearly feels comfortable there, which says everything.
