I had an experience with Delilah and Lourdes that left me feeling uneasy about leaving my dog in their care. From my perspective, there was a lack of communication and attentiveness that made it hard to feel confident or reassured. When it comes to trusting someone with a pet, reliability and transparency are really important, and I just didn't get that here. I originally filled out a review at the PetSmart website where I had my dog groomed. I was scheduled to have an appointment with Delilah the lead groomer. Upon my arrival she asked for my dogs rabies vaccination not knowing that I needed to show it before services. Her tone of voice at the time of request and her attitude was off putting to me. I asked that she wait until I can try and look through my emails for the receipt. It took me 10 minutes and I still could not find it. As I looked for her to inform her that I would have to reschedule she was nowhere to be found. I informed the other cashier that I would have to leave and reschedule in order to bring her the document requested. So I ended up rescheduling with a different groomer who by the way did an excellent job on my dog. I received a call a week later from Delilah inquiring why the negative review given. I simply told her it was because of her attitude and tone of voice she portrayed. She shrugged It off without an apology. I will continue their services but making sure I receive services from anybody other than her. read more

Check your receipts! This is not the first time that they have overcharged me for an item. Most of the time it's a dollar or two and not worth the time to go back. This time it was $10!!! So it really stood out to me. Then I checked another item, they overcharged me $1. So two items, both were overcharged. Coincidence?? I think not.... It happens way too much for it to be a coincidence. Lots of good stuff there for pets and the grooming services are great. But check your receipts or they will rip you off!! Ps. I have to include , if you show them the error, they WILL fix it for you. But how many times do you even look at your receipts? Every time I place an online order and come to the drive up, click "I'm here", the order never comes out. I wait 20 mins then have to go inside and get the order. Some people place online orders for curbside pickup because going inside isn't easy for them. If you can't provide curbside pickup (b/c your employee is too busy picking up shopping carts 2 hrs before you close so they can go home on time rather than help check out the 7 people in line at one register or the three cars in the curbside) then don't have it at all. read more

Worst experience. Currently 9 months pregnant it took almost 2 weeks to get a call back from the cat groomer for just a nail trim and sanitary cut (no wash) before my baby arrives. I come 10 minutes late because I really struggled to get my cat in the carrier, get her down two flights of stairs... show up and the lady there is clearly annoyed and said they cannot see me now. I understand I was late, but really no empathy or grace period given? Mind you the store was EMPTY with 1 small dog. I told her I can't reschedule I'm due any day... she couldn't care less. So, I'm a fish parent. Never thought I'd own a fish outside of the few goldfish I won at carnivals when I was a kid. But recently, I became fascinated with the pretty Betta (pronounced Be-Ta, not Bay-Ta) fish they had. After quite a bit of research and learning about aquarium maintenance we purchased the fish tank FIRST and allowed it several days to start the nitrogen cycle. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - get the tank before the fish. It's incredibly critical for the health of your fish that you do this. It can take up to two weeks. Make sure to grab an API Master Kit to test your water to ensure the nitrogen cycle is complete. Once that's done, it's time to go fish shopping! I of course, went straight for the sad fish that wasn't swimming well. I thought, if he doesn't make it I can always get my money back after 14 days and he'll get to live out his golden years in a tank and not a cup. To my surprise he thrived and still doing well. The Petsmart folks were varied. All pleasant, some more knowledgeable than most. This location is especially convenient. I've used this location on Calloway many times and have always had good service. Their grooming department is my go to for all of my dogs.

Good pet supply selections. Staff is friendly- not too helpful but friendly. Clean and seemingly well stocked.

We love this location. Not only is it convenient but the staff is friendly and always helpful. We have been taking our yorkie puppy to see Jennifer in the grooming salon for a little over a month now. That's right I said a month. Max was super nervous when it came to being groomed because his nails got cut to short one time at the vet. Jennifer was so patient and loving during this process. We have Max on a strict ever 2 week schedule with Jennifer to get him desensitized. Each visit she was able to get Max to tolerate a little more. By the 3rd visit she was able to give him a full cut! Max loves Jennifer and is always so happy to see her even when we are just there to buy food! I highly recommend Jennifer if you have a nervous pup. We recently started Puppy Training with Kiarra which has been super helpful and informative. She is so good with Max. read more

Yes i have 3 yes 3 guinea pigs!!! They are absolutely amazing...Anyone considering them as pets should know 1. they are expensive to care for and not many vets here can treat them 2. Did i say they are amazing???? 3. They are just sooooo damn cute and loving and funny!!!! I have got all my piggies from petsmart all bought as babies and all are amazing in their own way...The oldest i got last september when he was about 4 months old, his name is bacon..the second i got around February his name is eggs and the third around June his name is nugget. All have been absolutely delightful the staff have always been super nice and have given my son and i the time we need to love on them and make our decisions...you just have to hold them and see which one you bond with the best you will just feel it. Please study them before you decide to buy or adopt one or 2 or more :). They have specific needs nutritionally etc.. It's soooo sweet to get up in the morning and they are squeaking for their morning veggies and popcorning (look it up it's amazing!!!) The staff is super helpful at both locations rosedale and ming i've been to so don't hesitate to ask questions and please don't hesitate to take a piggy with special needs they are literally THE best!!! My recommendation is to buy from petsmart just from experience myself period and they have all been amazing and healthy!! or of course a piggy adoption center....I do buy bedding etc from here as well look for the bogo deals...Also fleece liners are sooo much better than bedding they are expensive but make for happier piggies...not available here but online at "retailers" is the best price and quality... read more

Would not recommend for grooming. Jazmin G. Groomed my dog and she was incredibly rude at pick up. I have never had an issue with him being groomed there before but she complained to me immediately upon arrival for pick about how he was aggressive to other dogs. My dog is not completely trained but he is definitely not aggressive. He has been in doggy daycares with other dogs, has play dates with our family's dogs, and is friendly to people. She also tried to tell us that we needed to pay more money next time because he is "too difficult". I'll never spend another dime there again, especially when I'm paying money for him to get pampered and the people there are rude and don't even include his bow tie when I payed extra. Very poor customer service. I took my dog to get groomed. I was handed the invoice to pay and I paid at the counter. Days later while we were out of town my significant other gets bombarded with calls claiming we didn't pay the grooming fees. A few days after that we receive another call from pet smart claiming we didn't pay the fees again. I tell them I can provide receipts and bank statements. They said they will pursue action if I don't come in to pay. During the same conversation it was clarified to them that they got mixed up and didn't confirm on their end that I paid my grooming bill. They then said they handed me the wrong invoice. And that they would need to get their manager to pursue action. Very rude, aggressive, not the way customer service should be especially since it was a clerical error on Petsmart's part. Do not recommend. read more

Took our golden retriever in to get groomed. Made the appointment online, was able to pick my services, had a choice to pick the groomer...super easy. Dropped her off at 7:30am. She was done at 11:45. Marissa was very kind, and really took the time to get to know our dog...it was her first time at this location. Her haircut was perfect, and her teeth, ears and nails were all taken care of. We will be back, and requesting Marissa. read more

I wanted to take a minute to post an excellent customer service experience. We take our dogs to the groomers here and they always do amazing work and have great customer service. We have 3-dogs and keeping them clean and groomed is costly. Recently Pet Smart had to cancel our appointment due to an employee call out. Not a big deal. I was disappointed as it took 2 weeks to get an available appointment. Speaking with the grooming department staff, I was notified I was being moved to the next available which was 10 days out. I was not happy. Bree, which is who I was speaking to , went out of her way to get our dogs in. Not 5 minutes after hanging up the phone I got a text with the new appointments which were next day! I've gotten my dog groomed countless times, but PetSmart has a different policy and their groomers need training in customer service. Leading up to the appointment, I received 3 phone calls on 3 separate days at 8:00 pm confirming every detail about my dog's appointment and changing up the times as if we had never spoken before. When I finally got to my appointment, I was waiting to check my dog in and I overheard the person checking in dogs tell the customer in front of me that their rabies booster document was a month out of date so I checked mine and realized the record I had with me needed to be updated (my dog is fully vaxed). When I approached the counter after waiting almost 20 minutes past my appointment time, I told her "I think my records are also out of date and my vet can't reprint it since they're out of town" and showed her. I was going to kindly accept that my dog wasn't going to be seen that day. She rudely replied "ooooo yeah, looks like you MAY not be seen today." And continues to give me step by step directions to a vet they're partnered with that same day, how to stand in line at the vet and that I would wait for only 1-3 hours, and how they're going to give my dog a booster. She finally concludes with "you'll then have to wait 48 hours in order to get your dog groomed. So I guess that means you won't be seen today. See you next week!" By the time I got home, it was well over an hour out of my day and it stressed out my senior dog. read more

PLEASE DO NOT have your pet groomed at this location. If you want your pet to receive serious injury this is the place to have your pet groomed. My beloved pet just had a physical prior to her Pet Smart grooming appointment and was in perfect health. My dog now has a collapsed trachea due to the groomers at this store. They are so negligent and uncaring, otherwise this would of not happened.The VET said it is going to substantially shorten my dog's life! There is no good excuse for this type of behavior and they take advantage of your pet for 3-4 hours and who knows what goes on behind closed doors... read more

I normally have a good experience at Petsmart, but today was not one of those days. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, there's only 1 person allowed in the lobby at a time. This means that the rest of us need to form a neat line outside of the salon. My appointment was for 10:00 am, but the lady in front of me wasn't finished until 10:15. In the meantime, my dog is getting antsy and unnerved by the 5 other dogs/owners that are trying to remain patient in line. Talking to some of the other customers, I find out that there are at least 3 other people with 10:00 am appointments. There's no way that these folks are going to be out of the store before 10:30. When my turn finally comes up, the in-take lady refused to groom my dog because of her barking. Her demeanor was the opposite of confident, which in turn made my shepherd scared. I've never been refused grooming services before and was taken aback by the refusal. I will be taking my dog elsewhere until Petsmart can figure out how to better manage their services. I would suggest that you have customers wait in their cars until a groomer is ready to check in the next customer. This cuts down on the amount of foot traffic in the lobby and would facilitate same-time appointments. read more

It Shames me to say my dogs were a wreck when they went in, but they came out completely transformed. They were so cute, and smelled so good when I picked them up. Such a day comes when you have to switch to another groomer... for a variety of reasons.. good, bad, etc. and the day had finally came that my fur babies needed a new place. Luckily this Petsmart has the best staff! Jennifer at this location is the girl to see! Not only do my dogs come out looking like a million bucks, they also get taken very well care of while they get groomed too! The staff there treats my babies like family and knows us by name the minute we walk in. The pricing is fair, the time it takes to get the cuts done is decent, and they are always willing to work with my schedule if there's any issues or things that come up with appointments.
