Did a great job cleaning up my big goofy dog. He was getting stinky and the weather was bad. But he smells great and gets to hang out inside with out stinking up the house during the storm. read more

Paws and Sniffs Mobile Pet Spa - Pet Groomers Near Me

I had a very disappointing experience with Paws and Sniffs. I booked my 16-week-old puppy's first grooming appointment and was quoted $150. Then, about an hour before my scheduled appointment, it was canceled. The owner did offer to reschedule for the following morning. However, after the cancellation, I called several other groomers in the area to find a new appointment as we were not available the next day. Every groomer I spoke with explained that a puppy's first grooming is typically a gentle introductory visit with a face, feet, sanitary trim, and nail trim rather than a full groom. The quotes I received from multiple businesses ranged from $55 to $75 for that type of appointment. Based on that, I felt that the $150 quote I received was excessive, especially since the owner did not explain that a puppy's first visit is usually handled differently. I understand that businesses set their own prices, but I wanted to share my experience so other puppy owners can compare services and pricing before booking. UPDATE AFTER READING THEIR REPLY: I would like to update my review because the company's response does not accurately reflect what happened. From the beginning, I told them my puppy's age and approximate weight and sent pictures. I was initially quoted $200, but after seeing the pics, the price was reduced to $150. They also knew this would be our puppy's first grooming appointment. We never specifically requested a haircut. We asked to schedule our puppy's first grooming appointment. Then we were asked to send photos of what we wanted, so we did. At no point were we told that a first-time puppy appointment should not include a haircut or that they would not recommend one. As first-time puppy owners, we relied on their professional expertise. Since they knew this was our puppy's first grooming, we would have expected them to explain what was or wasn't appropriate. Instead, after receiving the photos, they confirmed the $150 price. I have screenshots of our text messages documenting this. After this experience, I contacted at least ten other groomers, and not one of them was willing to schedule a full haircut for a puppy's first grooming appointment. Instead they explained how they handle first time grooming appts. I also have screenshots of our text messages showing that we were never told there was a "medical emergency." Instead, we were told the owner woke up with pain and needed to reschedule the appointment for the following day. This cancellation came only one hour before our scheduled appointment. Which was to our benefit as we would have possibly traumatized our puppy with a full haircut when she wasn't mature enough for one. read more

Great personalized grooming! No assembly-line rush through. Careful grooming with no skin abrasion nor cut bleeding nails. Costs more, but if you love your animal, worth it! read more

She did an amazing job. She was on time, skilled, very pleasant, and gentle with Lucy (my 11 year old dog who has bad bones) I have always had issues with Lucy's toenails, because they are all black. This is the very first time that they have been trimmed short enough to not interfere with her mobility, which has increased her activity levels. Paws and Sniff is now my preferred groomer!! read more

My dog has always been afraid of the water, and Paws and Sniffs Mobile came out spent time with her and was able to get her in the trailer and bath her without any trauma. You will not regret using them for big dogs that are afraid of strangers or water!!! I will hesitate to use them in the future. read more

Cancelled appointments and rescheduled twice after taking a $60 deposit via Venmo. Asked for a refund so we could find someone who would actually show up, and she cursed at me and my 80 year old grandmother, tried stating her deposit was non refundable after SHE canceled the appointments. She did end up refunding her, but only after being extremely unprofessional, cursing at an elderly woman, and telling her she'd be black listed from ALL mobile groomers in town. After I called her she decided to change her tune and "refer" us to another mobile groomer. Would not recommend what so ever and she didn't even touch my animals. read more

I am always nervous to try a new groomer because I worry for my pets and especially my cat, but they were so good with him and got him done very safe and quick! When I have gotten him groomed in the past he would be gone for hours and would hide and sleep the rest of the day, but this appt was so quick and he was his normal playful self afterwards. Also, his cut looked great! read more

This was my first time using a mobile grooming service and the first time my dog had been groomed by another person. We usually groom ourselves, but we could not for this round. I was really anxious as to how my dog would react, but she did well with Lindsey. Lindsey texted me while she was working on my dog to let me know how things were going. In the end she gave my dog a great groom and met my dog where she was that day. She was super quick too, much faster than the time it takes for us to do her ourselves. Her feet have also never looked better. read more

I can't say enough good things about Lindsey! Just wow! My Goldendoodle is always so well taken care of! Lindsey is so good with her and you can tell she really cares about the dogs! Lindsey was awesome. She was super easy to work with and my dog loved her. She was quick and efficient and I will definitely call again!

Love these guys. First time getting my 100+lb Akita/Great Pyrenees be monster dog groomed and he did great. The person who came out (I'm sorry I forgot her name) was great with him as she said he just went with the flow. He's very hard headed and excitable, so hearing that, I know she handled him well and knows her business. He was calm and so very clean. I have found my forever groomer. read more

I've used this service twice, now. Lindsey is wonderful. Patient and kind, won't push service to your animal if animal is severely stressed (such as towel drying instead of using the blow dryer, etc). Quick and easy. Available appointments. I will definitely keep using her service! read more

Lindsay and her team have been caring for my 120 lb American Bulldog, 60 lb Bassett Hound, and 60 lb Goden Doodle for years now, and I've referred her to any and all family and friends. She loves my fur babies as if they were her own, and her mobile trailer is so much more convenient than waiting for your dogs to be groomed for hours at a normal dog spa, the were all 3 done in an HOUR today! Lindsey has been our groomer for 3 years to our very active (three) dogs. She is patient, and delicate with these dogs. They vary in size from 35 lbs to 70 lbs. Two of them get so nervous around their bathtime and the 3rd is a water dog that never stays dry for too long. We are so blessed that they love Lindsey, and actually enjoy their time with her. She does a great job with their hair cuts. We have two dogs with more prominent poodle features : the "water dog", a male and the bath nervous female. These two dogs require a lot more grooming attention . She does such a beautiful job. We are so grateful for her consistency, and dedication . Thank you Lindsey. read more

Amazing experience today with Lindsey and her team! My 9-year-old Maine Coon mix cat managed to get himself into a matted mess that I tried for several weeks to undo by myself. He was the only male in a litter of 4 and his mother usually groomed him even after he became an adult. She passed away this spring and he gave up. I found Lindsey online and texted her and she responded immediately. She had an opening a couple of days away so we booked it. On time, professional, she and her team clearly know what they're doing. She had to shave him down to the skin which was what I wanted and he looks and feels great. I am so relieved to have found such a great groomer and will definitely use Paws and Sniffs for our other cats and elderly Chihuahua. read more
