Our 7 year old husky was blowing her coat, and with 2 littles I did not have time to deshed her myself. I opted for the mobile grooming purely for convenice. It was 100% worth it. I did not need to load up the kiddos and worry about vacuuming all of her fur out of the car at a later time. The groomers showed up a little early, were incredibly nice, and had great communication. This was her first professional grooming, and will definitely not be her last. She has never looked so clean! I highly recommend this business.
Initially, I experienced communication issues and didn't receive a response, which was frustrating. However, the owner reached out and asked for a second chance, and I'm really glad I gave it. They were able to get me scheduled for same-day mobile grooming, which was a huge plus. They showed up exactly when they said they would, and the service was prompt and efficient. The groomers were friendly, professional, and handled both of my dogs--my 12 lb Chug and my 90 lb Great Pyrenees mix--with ease, even though they can be a bit anxious. Both of my girls came back looking and smelling amazing, with cute bandanas and collar flowers as a nice touch. Overall, a much better experience the second time around, and I appreciate them making the effort to turn things around.
US Army veteran Donald Buckenmeyer has finally gone out on his own after several years of working as a groomer at some of the national chains here in town. In doing so, he has opened DashHound, which has both a mobile and bricj and mortar operation. I recently took advantage of the mobile grooming services and scheduled a spa day for my Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Gipper. Ashlie and her apprentice arrived on time and greeted me at my door. They each took the time to introduce themselves to Gipper and he immediately felt comfortable with them both, which is saying something because he's got quite an attitude. The trio disappeared into their mobile grooming salon right out in front of my house. About an hour later I answered a knock at the door and my handsome boy was looking dapper as ever! This was the finest haircut he's ever had. He even got his nails trimmed too, which is no easy "feat" (see what I did there?) He was happy and I could tell he felt good too. Ashley was very polite and gave me a full report of what she did and how Gipper behaved. She provided a very reasonable price which I was conveniently able to pay via Zelle. All and all, I was very pleased with DashHound. Gipper and I look forward to their next visit!

I've been taking my dog to Dash Hound and this last time I drop him off they took 3.5 to have him ready it was a trim and bath only . Not much to cut ! I don't think I want to be on stand by for that long . Very discouraging because at first all was great .

This place is truly amazing. My dad's dog, Scooter, had a terrible experience at a previous groomer that left him depressed for an entire week. It shook my dad's trust so badly that he refused to take Scooter anywhere else for months. But Scooter desperately needed a grooming, so I convinced my dad to let me try somewhere new--and that's how we found DashHound. I'm so glad we did. The owner was incredibly kind and understanding. I explained Scooter's past trauma, and she reassured me that they'd go at his pace. To our surprise, Scooter warmed up right away and had a fantastic grooming session. We didn't just find a new groomer--we found a place that restored my dad's trust, gave me peace of mind, and most importantly, helped Scooter feel safe and happy again. He walked out with a fresh summer cut and a wag in his tail. I can't recommend DashHound enough. Thank you for giving us all a little bit of joy back.
1st time visiting with my dog. Did an excellent job. Gave me a discount due to me under estimating my dog's weight (wasn't aware how big he is). Informed me the next visit would be at the higher rate, which I thought was more than fair. The dog looked very good .
Will &Grace needed a shave and their nails trimmed, but are horrible nervous dogs when it comes to services. DashHound got me set up with a pretty recent appointment which I was happy about. I warned the groomers about my little dogs nervous behavior, but they assured me they were used to it and willing to get my dogs completed. My dogs were definitely difficult, but their haircut and nail trimmings turned out great. I will definitely give them a call again when my dogs need another haircut.
Love this place. Wouldn't take my babies anywhere else. They love your babies as their own. Not to mention the outcome of their spa day is so outstanding. Beautiful work!!!
Donny and his staff are absolutely brilliant! Our fur baby Remi is shy and she doesn't warm up to strangers! Donny loves our girl and she loves Donny! She enjoys her Spa days and she always looks so cute after grooming. I highly recommend DashHound Grooming!
I love my mobile dog groomer. Abby my fur baby loves her too. She is super friendly and prompt. You can tell she loves animals and does such a great job grooming Abby. She puts bows in her hair to make her mommy happy. I highly recommend DashHound grooming. You will thank me later. read more
Absolutely the best dog groomers here in California! I have had my dog groomed from Sacramento to San Diego and in between and this groomer is pawsitively uhhhhhmazing! They always take such care of my pup. So fresh and so clean, he comes out cute with a FREE bandana. My dog is ecstatic to go to this groomer, he gets so excited on the ride there. He is beyond happy upon pickup, which is a testament to how they care for the pets. They text you friendly updates and grooming reminders and you can even schedule an appointment with them using text. Simple and easy. Veteran discount which is definitely appreciated! Absolutely amazing!! My dogs are very important to me and so I'm very picky when it comes to a groomer, the mobile groomer is absolutely amazing, it seems like my dogs really love her, and are never scared to go out in the mobile grooming unit with her. We took our girl for a new client appointment today and I was a little nervous as our pup has had one groomer that she did well with but that groomer is unavailable at this time. I informed Don when I made the appointment that our girl is a rescue and sometimes can be very afraid of new people until she warms up to them. When we picked her up, Don said she did great and that they gave her a little break to ensure she wasn't overwhelmed. As a fur momma and a nurse, the compassion and kindness does not go unnoticed. Don and his wife were extremely friendly and Don went the extra mile to ensure Cali's groom was exactly what I was looking for. We look forward to being a continued client of theirs. My dogs both hate leaving the house in the car and the last time they came home from their normal groomer they both acted traumatized so it was time for a change. I'm so glad we did too. We knew they'd been here between 9am and 9:30am but even got a warning text on their way which was nice. She took both dogs into the trailer at the same time and was done within an hour and a half. Neither one came out trembling and they looked perfect. When they were done I even got a rundown on how they did and any issues I should pay attention to. I usually hate it when they get short cuts but still have fluff on their faces or tails but they both have the perfect amount of hair left on their heads. We are super happy with the experience. read more
