I called to get my dog a grooming appointment and was scheduled for 2pm. We arrived a few minutes early and was asked if we were there for a 2 o'clock appointment as well. There was already another lady there with a dog for 2pm as well. We were told the groomer that we were scheduled for wasn't there yet. Another person walked in with their dog and a 2pm appointment as well and with the same groomer that the other lady and I were waiting for. 5 minutes after 2 the groomer shows up and signs in the first dog and then states it's going to be 3-4 hours. Checks me in and says the same thing. I tell her I can't wait that long to pick up my dog. He has a class at PetSmart and asks me if I want to reschedule. I ask if there is another groomer and she ignores me. One of the other groomers who was working in a dog responds for her and tells me the other groomers are booked up and in the future if I was on a time constraint I can pay an extra $15 to block out a time and expedite my dog. The original groomer is checking in the third dog the whole time while her coworker was trying to be helpful. As I was walking out the door she asks me if I want to rescue or what. Rude. If this lady is being rude to me, how would she treat my dog when I wasn't there. No thanks and won't be back. I do get that she was the only rude one and the other ladies seemed nice. my puppy has been getting groomed by them for the last 2 months and this time I asked them to go jus a little shorter. I picked my dog up and she was completely bald! not what I asked for at all! they really messed her up and I'm really mad because all the other times I've never had a problem and mind you this was also her first early morning appointment, they rushed her haircut and didn't give us what we asked for at all . Special shout out to Kiki in grooming for treating my Gypsy like a gem. I have anxiety cutting her nails -- and she patiently walked me through setting up the app on my phone so I could take advantage of the Yappy Hour discount and made Gypsy feel calm in the meantime, while I had to find vaccination records, etc. The nail trim and glands appt was fast, Gypsy was happy, and Kiki also made me feel comfortable in a new setting-- I told her I just moved here and she was happy to relate with me about the heat! Also, Brooklyn at the front register literally a life saver as I'm technologically impaired, so she was able to help me with the app AGAIN, give me pointers on how to save in the future, and was just a nice addition to my day. Horrible! I went out of my way to make a grooming appointment for my dog & called ahead of time. The lady told me they would take the rabies tag but when I arrived they told me they won't accept it. This is the second time in a row that I have placed an online order that doesn't get fulfilled until I call or go to the store. First time I waited 3 hours. This second time I waited FIVE hours! I tried calling 4 times and no answer. It was getting close to closing time. I went down to the store and Serena was extremely RUDE!!!!!! As I walk in she yells "WE CLOSE IN FIVE MINUTES!!". I explain to her that I've been waiting 5 hours for my online curbside order and I've been trying to call. She doesn't even look up to acknowledge me and says "ya well, we're busy" and then says "talk to her" and points to another associate. I think if you're going to have utterly disgruntled associates, maybe they'd be better off in a position that doesn't require them to interact with the public. read more

Complaint against Call Center Associate #769557 7/13/23 incident at PetSmart/complaint On 7/12/23 I spoke with associate #769557 to see if I could bring my dogs, Frankie and Lucy Whiteside in that day for grooming. The associate told me that there was only room on 7/12/23 for Lucy. I told her to forget everything. I will bring them both on 7/13/23 as originally scheduled. She said she would cancel everything. Then on 7/13/23 I bring both dogs to PetSmart and I am advised that Associate #769557 had rebooked Lucy to 7/12/23 and that she was a no show. I explained that I had advised associate #769557 to CANCEL the rebooking of Lucy but she didn't do as requested. The PetSmart groomer, Caitlyn said both dogs COULD have come in as originally requested the day prior, 7/12/23, but the associate failed to see there were two appointments available on that day. Anyway, I had to leave with both dogs. Because of the poor customer service by your call center (Associate #769557) I had to leave with both dogs and rebook the appointment for both later that day. I will bring them back at 5pm on 7/13/23. I am a senior citizen and I am alone with the two dogs and it is the HOT SUMMER. PetSmart could at least hire competent customer service representatives to handle the appointments. Otherwise they lose business. I WILL NEVER USE THE CALL CENTER AGAIN. I will call the store directly from now on or use another grooming salon. Please forward this complaint to Associate #769557 for her review. She really needs to LISTEN to the customer. I have been coming to PetSmart for years. Granted, yes I was 5 minutes late. A large pit was in the room on the floor with Mange. I chose to sit outside. I chose to wait knowing my dog has the issue not this poor pup with Mange all over its face. I had the right to ask the atttendant if the dog had mange and I was told NO. I volunteer at a. Shelter I know the dog did. They were mopping the floor quickly with bleach. I then spoke to the young lady, I have been here a while I didn't want to walk in. When I first got there I walked by saw the dog and his mom and. Dad, I walked around the store, I went back to the bench to wait as the young lady continues on the small dog in the back corner. I explained to her that I was out side and she told me "nah" nah you weren't here" I asked are you calling me a liar? And she just sat their with RBF and said because I was late they took another dog. I honestly have never been treated so poorly. How to lose a customer without even trying. Well, that's how. Without even trying. Our dog requires a special Royal Canin dog food. Going in to purchase it has been problematic. Finding someone to help locate it, and today flat out being told that they have no idea if its been ordered, they do not control what is sent and that I should simply return on Wednesdays and Saturdays when they get new stock in to see if any has showed up. On the other hand, Petco.com has it in stock and will ship it immediately. Easy decision. Sorry PetSmart. Went in last night to grab a few things for my dog and good Lord I won't be back. I saw 5 employees roaming around the store while I was getting what I needed, I went to check out and there was 1 lane open with 9-11 people waiting in line. The first person checking out took a few, the second person got to the register and the girl working the register looked at his item and must have needed something as she left the register and walked off into the store somewhere.....leaving us standing there. I have no idea what she needed or how long she was going to be so I put my items back and left. How you only have 1 lane open with that many people waiting and you don't even ask for help you just walk away from the register blows my mind. I took my Labradoodle to come get groomed here and it was so wonderful. The staff is like family to us now! From the trainers (Destiny) to the groomers. Since I've adopted my dog in July, I frequently pick up tons of toys and snacks for my pup every time we are out. I can't help but spoil my lovely 4-legged princess. So far I have noticed that pet smart is not as pricey as petco. They pretty much have the same types of products, but I have noticed they have more sales. I like both stores and I probably visit petco more as it is down the street from my house, but if petsmart was closer I would probably take more trips to this place. The grooming prices look very reasonable and I'm yet to bring my pup to get pampered, but it is affordable and they even offer walk-ins which is quite nice. Everything you need for your furry friends are sold here! A lot of products seem okay w price but you can probably get more of your money's worth at Walmart unless you're like us and only feed your pup a certain name brand of food. read more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE. I just went in to buy some dogfood. I got a large pedigree bag from one of their pallet displays in the middle of the store. I purchased the dog food along with a couple of other items and I left the store to the parking lot. Upon picking up the dog food bag and putting it into my trunk, I realized that half of the bag was wet with dog urine. I dropped the bag. Picked it up put it back in the cart and walked back inside the store. I spoke with a man named Jody who had just saw me leave the store. I asked if I could return the dog food and get another bag that didn't have dog urine on it. He was short in his reply and he did not apologize he just said "No returns read the sign." I said ok is there anyone else that I can talk to about this and he said "No just me, no returns. This was the worst case of customer service I've dealt with in a long time. I took the bag out of the cart and placed it in front of the sign and left. I will not be returning to this location. If Jody is a shift lead or supervisor I worry for the training and customer service skills of anyone who works with or has been trained by him and possibly will be in the future. read more

I took my son here today to get his guinea pig (bacon) a friend, i got the last one here too they are just so much better taken care of here than at petco. Bacon is super healthy and happy and social. We named this one Eggs duh...lol :) Anyway the girl that helped us so we could decide which one to get was super nice. As soon as my son held this one he knew it was the one, it is so gentle, social and cuddly right away. The only complaint i have is Omg the whole shopping center outside is gross and dirty with trash just EVERYWHERE!!!! and the lines were long with only 2 registers open that's pretty much why i didn't give 5 stars the business owners really need to concentrate on cleaning up that entire area i was kinda scared to park my car there to be honest... read more

Wow, I am honestly so grateful for PetSmart. Did you know that if you adopt from a shelter they give you a free coupon book with hundreds of dollars of savings? I am not exaggerating when I say HUNDREDS. The front of the book says it and I honestly believe them. The best part is that you get one for each of the pets you adopt. Yes, you read right. Each pet not each costumer. I adopted 3 babies. Two cats and 1 dog. I didn't even know about the coupon book until my sister went and she brought up that I had adopted. The cashier told her about the coupon books. You just need to bring your adoption papers to the front and they give you the coupon book. My sisters and I were already buying everything, but who doesn't want to save a few extra dollars. We ended up coming back and getting the book. It's amazing how much money we saved. I will be posting pictures of the receipts so everyone can see my amazing savings. I just really want to share that I was able to get 1 bag of FREE dog food and 2 bag of FREE cat food with that book. I also received 3 cans of dog food because of each book comes with a free can of dog food. Besides all the great coupons, their costumer service is astonishing. The cashier that assisted us was Janet. She was so nice and she gave us our books immediately. She gave treats to both of my dogs and she kept petting them. I love the fact that they have so much items on clearance. So much cute things I really wanted to get. I only got a few items and I was still able to use a few coupons without knowing. Janet was actually the one that told me that I was able to use another coupon on the items I was buying. She also had to do multiple transitions just so I can use some coupons. She was very polite and did not seem frustrated at all. They also have grooming, training and a veterinary inside. The coupon book also has great discounts for these services. I forgot to mention that they provide a coupon for a free night at the pet hotel, BUT unfortunately this location does not have it. I have so much positive things to say about this PetSmart, but my review is already so long. Don't want to bore all of the readers. Hope this review really helps a lot of you. My wife took my dog to an appointment today to get a shot for heart worm. We did our research and had called ahead of time for a quote. They staff had told us it would be about $100 for the two puppies. They weigh 12lbs and 26lbs respectively.. Needless to say, the staff tried up selling my wife on every rip off plan they could offer as well as any add on meds they could sell. She declined all of them at which point they tried to say the visit and single vaccines would come to $230. When my wife questioned the staff, they said they'd have to charge an exam fee because she was "in a room". Since when did an exam become entering a room? If I go to a car wash. Drive into the bay but the water doesn't work, I don't pay for a car wash. Jerks read more

I absolutely LOVE this PetSmart! Every time I come in I'm always welcomed right away along with someone on the sales floor asking if I need any assistance finding an item. Customer service is always a top priority of mine, but when the product on the floor is organized it makes a shopping trip so much faster and more enjoyable. This was a horrible experience. I ordered online and went there when I received the notice that pickup was ready. They did not have signs out for curbside pickup. Despite the fact I had no more masks or gloves, I went into the store. No greeting. No acknowledgment. Just three employees standing there talking and laughing. Came today since i rescued a puppy from a homeless person. Since i knew he couldnt care for it or feed it. I decided to take it and provide a loving home and good. Anyways i didnt know where to start since i dont have animals. My brother said go to Walmart or petco or petsmart, so i call and Thank god they are open. I come in and i am clueless and no help offered since their was only 1 young lady at the cash register. I finally found what i was loiking for and when i got to the register the young lady was really nice and helpful. I had asked about price match she said yes we do that here. I said i dont know how to do it can you help me... she responded yes. And then her manager came up and told her not to help me. That i needed to do it myself, i though that was the worst of the worst customer service. Especially to tell her in front of me like i am a nobody! I dont think its the store that has a problem its the employee who needs proper training. Especially in this hard time of corona virus they should be extremely helpful to get their customers in and out as quickly as possible. Since their should not be more than 10 people in a gathering. Went to the store yesterday to buy my puppy a leash and collar. We went to the car and realized we should've got a different color. So we walk back in maybe a 1 after purchasing to EXCHANGE it and head over to pick out a new leash and colar again and go to the register the employee tells us that we could not exchange it because of their policies during covid and would have to wait til may, which I partially understand, but what I didn't agree with was the fact that the employee made us buy the new leash and colar we were attempting to exchange for. Now we were walking out with 2 leashes and 2 collars. FOR WHAT?! The manager said we had no option because we had touched them, we needed to buy those as well. To begin with, no one informed us at the register the first time we would not be able to return/exchange until May AND they did not tell us at the door "we touch, we buy" I was so upset because I don't think I should've been forced to buy the new items, that's something that could've been sanitized and even then someone at the door informing the customers would've been great. Grooming salon: five stars! They were so gentle with my Abigail and explained what everything on the menu was and how they benefited her. The girls seemed a bit overwhelmed and looked very busy on a Saturday night but still pulled through and did an amazing job! The service was done in a timely manner. The services I paid for were a groom, a wash, and some special stuff that makes Abigail's coat whiter. Plus, they put cute bows on her when they were done! She walked out so happy and I got so many compliments. I browsed around the store meanwhile she was getting taken care of and the prices are alright.
