I notice he had a small tuft of hair on his tail that looked odd, but I just figured he had nipped at an itch. I was not told of anything happening during his session and even called, once I notice it was bothering him, to see if maybe a new shampoo had been used that was causing irritation or other dogs were having reactions to something. I was assured nothing different had occurred during his grooming. I was never expecting what came next. Two days later his tail had become super irritated and was losing fur due to his chewing on it. A couple of more days of his not responding to anti-itch meds and a cone, and I went to my vet. She discovered his tail had a 'guillotine' cut at his base, where the tuft had been, and the blood vessels were severed, like something heavy had dropped/shut on it. His tail was dying. After daily treatment, meds, and artificial skin attempts he literally ate his tail. $1500 later and major trauma to my pet and my family, he is recovering now with a bobbed tail. Throughout this entire devastating experience, the groomers never admitted to the chance that something happened during the grooming and at one point suggested I might have shut his tail in my vehicle's door! Really?!! All I know is that he went in as usual: beautiful, happy, and healthy. He came out with a dying tail.

I am so impressed…read more We were both worried about using a dog trainer and letting them take the dog for over a week after the experience we had in 2012 with Marg the dog trainer. Tip Too K9 had the dog for little over a week. He is part hound so he is stubborn to say the least. He came home better but did not want to really listen. The trainer came back out to their house the next week and worked with him again and worked with my daughter and her husband. Again he did better but not quit well and constant. The trainer came back out and took the dog back to keep and train more for over a week again. All this was included in the original cost. Yes the original cost was not cheap but is is well worth it because they keep working with them. Not tacking on more charges. They help you get true results. They brought the dog back home today and the trainer worked at the house with the dog and my daughter for over an hour. Want quality training, people who love what they are doing, love your baby. Reviewing Jen's Obedience Training (4 classes, private) :…read more Our 2 year old male mini schnauzer always jumped/barked/growled aggressively when anyone nears his space, especially strangers in the house, and within 10 minutes of meeting Jen he was quiet, curious, and being led around successfully and following commands from her! By the end of the second session, he was giving her kisses!? We were absolutely floored, he'd never warm up to anyone so quickly. Jen is amazing and we're so happy we had our dog train with her. We were increasingly worried about our dog's worsening reactive/anxious behavior and we had a trip coming up to stay with family and their pets in two weeks and we were pressed for time. Jen was able to accommodate four lessons in two weeks instead of four weeks for us and worked with us on specific behaviors we were concerned with (focusing attention on us, manners, loose leash walking, how to handle being around people). Jen spent half the time training us, the owners, (which was SO necessary because we were so scared of being too mean, that basically our dog had us wrapped around his paws) on how to set our dog up for success and to correct the right way. We loved the lessons so much, we decided to have our dog do a board-and-train with her after. We can't recommend her enough! She taught us how to communicate with our dog effectively and we finally have the tools needed to improve his behavior more and more~

Brody is a mastiff/bloodhound mix and his size was easily accommodated by the spacious private rooms. The indoor play area is huge and he had a howling good time playing with all the other big dogs. While we did not take advantage of the couches that are offered or the webcams, these items are all available to make you and your furkid comfortable. My daughter left detailed instructions for the care and feeding of Brody and they followed them to the letter.
