We were looking to upgrade our old kitchen countertops to quartz, and after reaching out to several vendors for quotes, a problem arose: our kitchen is on the second floor and the turns in our stairs leading up would make it impossible to carry the stone up in one piece, meaning it would require seams. This was a dealbreaker for us, and Marblex was the only vendor that was was willing to work with us to find a solution! Ozzy was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire coordination process, and on the day of the install things went as smoothly as I could've hoped. The technicians arrived on time, were respectful, and took great care to get our countertops onto a crane and then get it from our balcony into our kitchen. We are extremely pleased with how our new countertops turned out, and we're now scheduling another install at my in-laws, using our old granite that Marblex was able to salvage! Overall fantastic service and workmanship, they really go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy with the results! read more

Ozzy and his team did a fantastic job in all respects. Ozzy himself, and the employees who measured and installed our countertops, were all highly professional and creative, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. My wife and I decided to work with Petra Stone because they had the largest and most varied inventory we had seen of marbles, quartzes, and other stones. We also appreciated their extraordinary service and availability in accommodating our questions and concerns. Bravo, Petra Stone!! read more

We are very happy we used Petra Stone Gallery to update our family room, particularly the fireplace facade. From the moment we walked in it was clear we were in great hands with Ozzy. He was communicative throughout the process and followed through on everything we discussed. He also organized contractors to dry wall our family room, put in new baseboards, and paint. Ozzy didn't leave any detail out to make it a beautiful renovation. read more

I live in McLean, Virginia. I have used Petra Stone for the granite in my kitchen and master bath and was thrilled both times. They have an absolutely amazing selection of beautiful stone slabs. What impressed me the most, however, was their customer service. They are real professionals and extremely knowledgeable about their business, in addition to being very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I worked primarily with Ozzy. He always made me feel that my project was the most important project on which they were working, which I know was not the case. The installers were also fantastic - very friendly and meticulous. Petra Stone will always have my business. Karen C. read more

We have a tiny kitchen that needed new countertops. The whole affair with Marblex was painless, and surprisingly simple. We talked to Marta the sales person who was attentive, responsive, and professional. She was great. She sent pictures of materials they had that fit our descriptions perfectly, she sent us several examples of sinks, and found one that was reasonably priced and met all of our criteria. No upsales, no hey what about this option which is different from your original idea, she was very helpful. They sent out a measurer who was on time, professional, pleasant and quick. Once we decided on a material (from remnant) they sent us scanned picture of the exact material with the cuts mapped out so we could adjust the way the countertops looked if we decided to. The installers were on-time, and again super pleasant and professional. They installed the countertops perfectly, even given some weird tile and backsplash issues. All in all the whole thing was very painless, took little work, no stress, and was done 95% over email which is both shocking and impressive. read more

Marblex - Buyer Beware Update I am upgrading to four stars because things had to be adjusted from the initial installation. The Marblex technician came over twice to work on the vanity top. He was able to slightly enlarge (elongate) the hole for the faucet and move it forward enough to clean between the faucet and the backsplash. There is now room for two #2 pencils behind the backsplash. Unfortunately, the vanity leaked water from the surface of the vanity around the faucet because the gasket in the faucet no longer met the vanity surface. The technician returned a second time and filled in part of the hole with white epoxy. As before, he did an excellent job. The leak from around the faucet is gone. I was pleased that Marblex stepped forward to remedy the initial installation issue without me having to ask them. Everyone was very nice to work with. The end result is a beautiful quartz vanity top. read more

Ernesto cleaned and repaired (re-grouted) our patio and it looks as good as when it was first installed @ ten years ago. The patio gets weather all year, it is totally exposed to all outdoor elements; no shade, no canopy, etc. I recommend Marblex for product, installation and maintenance. read more

I used Marblex to install a stone facade around our fireplace. It took me a long time to decide what type of stone I wanted.  I visited the showroom perhaps eight times, and each time the designers were helpful and patient.  After I finally selected a stone, Marblex promptly sent a professional to exactly measure our fireplace.   After measuring, Marblex was able to create the facade in about two weeks and schedule a prompt installation. The installation was meticulous.  Two talented craftsmen spent hours getting the stone facade installed.  They even made an adjustment to the gas fire insert that we had just had installed, so that it too was perfectly level.   I am very happy with the entire transaction with Marblex. read more

I recently had Marblex refinish my large marble island. The owner, Ozzie, was extremely helpful in making suggestions and following through with the work. The men were efficient, respectful, and clean with their work. My marble island looks like new after years of abuse and I could not be happier. KZK read more

I went in to look at slabs of granite and stones for a bathroom vanity. Its a small job but the guy who helped me was clearly leading me towards the higher priced stones, not what i was interested in. The quote was higher than I expected. I went somewhere else and they were much more reasonable and in tune with what I was looking for. read more

Marblex recently provided expert customer service and high quality work on my mother's countertop replacement. Even though my project was a small one, the Marblex staff handled it as if it was a big and significant one. The professionalism, friendliness, communications, and patience of everyone we interacted with from Ali the sales rep to Yair in production to those at the front desk, were outstanding. Their pricing was the best compared to several other local companies who provided quotes. They also were willing to accommodate some additional requests we had without charge. With my experience, low price meant high quality. I highly recommend using Marblex! read more

Inherited my mom and dad's house and the old laminate top in galley kitchen need something special to replace it with. Boy Oh Boy, did these people rise to the occasion. I mean I am reeling still with this Michelangelo parchment color and veining. Not too hash and not too simple. If you need to add manifold money to the value of your home Marblex can make it a creamy experience in my opinion. They don't just sell you stone. They give you a carnival , a rodeo, and a parade of joy to the world. I have a degree in art and thought I had a keene eye with 4.00 grade point average. read more

This was a flawless transaction and project: we chose stone to cover a fireplace and hearth over the course of two visits. Yazz was very patient and helpful as we toured the wide warehouse selection, and he was able to show us relevant photos of similar project. The stone we chose was cut, fabricated and installed promptly. The crew itself was friendly, polite, knowledgeable and took great pride in their work and in the company itself. If we had another similar project, i would readily choose Marblex. read more

During the past several months, Marblex renovated a powder room and the master bathroom in my condominium and the final results are absolutely beautiful. Both rooms now have amazing custom features such as a tear-drop shaped, green marble sink and vanity in the powder room, a green laser-jet cut medallion in the center of the powder room floor to complement the vanity, a stunning mosaic tile mural in the master bathroom and white floor with silver and gold flecks arranged in an optical illusion box design. With all the unique designer touches, the rooms also meet my basic needs for more storage, better lighting and new, upgraded fixtures. I selected Marblex because they had supplied granite countertops for a kitchen renovation and a marble vanity in my dressing area about 10 years ago. I still receive numerous compliments on the color, design, cut, quality and beauty of those earlier products and would not have turned anywhere else for my bathroom renovations. The range of colors, options and beauty of Marblex's natural stones made choosing among them one of the most difficult parts of the renovation process. The designer who worked with me carefully explained the advantages of each type of stone and its care needs to assist me in selecting what was most practical for my rooms and circumstances. The installation work in both rooms by Selcuk Once and his team was outstanding, from the wall tiles to the flooring, wainscoting and wallpapering. The wallpaper seams in paper with a delicate pattern could not meet any more perfectly, including at the corners of the room, and the tiles on the powder room floor are laid so that abstract lines flow perfectly from one tile to the next. The contract team worked with me to meet key deadlines and stayed into the evening to complete items like the wallpapering and installing a challenging showerhead on a Friday evening so that I would not be without a shower over a weekend. They also repainted trim on the wainscoting over a weekend to stay on schedule when we decided a different color would better highlight the room. It is probably rare that so much custom work goes without a single glitch and we did encounter one significant problem with the mosaic tile mural. Ozzy Oguz worked with me in an open and positive manner to address my concerns through a solution that I believe was fair to both of us and ensured that, in the end, I obtained the mural with the brilliant colors that I was hoping to see as the centerpiece of my new master bathroom and I could not be more pleased with the final result. Based on my experience, I would encourage homeowners who are incorporating unique custom design work to do extensive research to understand the effects of all selections, even ones like grout colors that might seem insignificant, and participate actively in every decision with your design team and contractors. With patience and the commitment to excellence, quality craftsmanship and total customer satisfaction that I have found over the years in working with Marblex, it is possible to bring dream rooms to life throughout your home! read more
