Looking for coffee and a croissant (but something a little more hearty) on a Sunday morning, decided to introduce another new friend to the Tuna Salad in a Croissant and the Salmon Avocado on Sourdough Toast. We decided to split one of each and ordered a coffee and OJ to share. Service was very helpful as they helpfully sliced each and plated as we requested to eat in on plates. Love that we can have the coffee in a proper cup here, as well. There are half a dozen tables that facilitate a chance to sit down. Friend was impressed with the quality and Construction of the tuna salad croissant. The tuna salad was placed inside a leaf of Romain lettuce which created a boat for the tuna salad which allowed the sandwich to maintain the integrity of the croissant so that the croissant remained crisp and chewy and all the right ways. The savory croissants here -- including the ham and cheese and the Pacific Northwest salmon -- are perfection.

I have been wanting to try Petit Pierre for a while now, and I know their locations mostly have street parking. I happened to be in the area and was able to find decent parking. The bakery is a bit small, as every seat inside was packed. They also offer outdoor seating. Luckily, I was taking my goods to go. Everything looked so good, but I had to limit myself. I got two pastries each for me, my sister, and my fiancé. For my sister, I got her the Passion Strawberry cruffin and the pistachio croissant. I got the same cruffin and the pistachio rose croissant. I got my fiancé the ham and cheese croissant and the seasonal choux pastry. Everything was as good as I thought it would be. My fiancé and sister really liked what I picked out for them. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. They still had a good variety for midday on a Saturday. I would like to come back and try more items.

Nice place. Potatoes were rock hard in the salad, but the portion size was great and there was lots of nice fresh veggies in there. I got a croissant too, which was nice

It's a fairly small bakery which means the seats and tables fill up fairly quickly. There is complimentary water provided near the bussing station with cups in the cabinet below. The selection of pastries were simply too alluring so we picked a couple to try from. Out of the 5 pastries we shared, we didn't get to try the Salmon Lox or the Blueberry scone so I asked for a box to take them home. The gingerbread cruffin was so nice. The gingerbread cream had an alluring cinnamon taste and the pastry wasn't wet and was still nicely crisped. The Rum & Eggnog Supreme not only look aesthetically pleasing but had a really pleasant neutral taste. The inside custard didn't have any strong taste and as someone who doesn't drink alcohol, I'm assuming the top harder cream has rum essence but it wasn't bitter. The cinnamon roll is not as soft as those fresh baked ones but still was really good. None of the three that we ate were overwhelmingly sweet-- I definitely would want to come back and try the Black Forest supreme! We did order one drink which did take a while to come out (iced latte) but that might've been due to the baristas being slightly backed up. Once the drink is done they will holler the name associated with the drink from the bussing station.

I ordered a ham & cheese croissant and a black forest supreme croissant and paid $17.25 before tip - kind of pricey for 2 pastries but they were definitely on the bigger side and the supreme croissant was filled so I think the price is mostly justified. The pastries were flaky as well. Friendly service! Unfortunately they didn't accept any cash For the ham & cheese croissant, I wish there was an option to heat it up because the cold ham was a little off putting :/

Got a petit supreme here: Nutella/rocher version. It was delicious. The service was efficient and friendly. We also got coffee, a cappuccino and an Americano - I wasn't impressed with the foam on the cap but the espresso was good. The place is busy and luckily there is covered outdoor seating.

    Breakfast Sandwich

Gorgeous, excellent pastries. And dare I say the best breakfast sandwich in Seattle? I'm not sure if I've had enough to have authority on that, but this was a delicious one! I added avocado but I think it would also be great without it. I also tried the Ferrero Rocher Petit Croissant Supreme and it was delicious. Very sweet, so I couldn't eat it all in one sitting, but I can't wait to have the rest! I was pleasantly surprised that there was filling in it! Service was great too. Friendly, fast, and I was allowed to bring my dog in. I do wish the to-go food came in a paper bag because it was a bit of a challenge holding a mini box and a little pastry bag while walking a dog, but I guess that's on me for not bringing a tote bag! Highly recommend this place!

Guava mascarpone cruffin, PNW savory croissant and Dubai chocolate mini super croissant

We popped into Petit Pierre in Phinney Ridge when the Ben's Bread line was wrapping around the block, and honestly...no regrets! I'd been skeptical to get coffee here (my memory of the Magnolia location wasn't the best), but this time it was absolutely delicious and hit the spot! We ordered the guava mascarpone cruffin (my personal favorite of the day!), the PNW croissant (my partner couldn't even wait for me to take a photo lol), and the Dubai chocolate mini "super croissant." The cruffin was such a standout. I have had plenty of guava cream cheese in the past, so I loved the unique twist with the mascarpone. It was perfectly balanced and just so, so good. The other pastries were also incredible, and let me tell you: that super croissant? It's a meal for 3 days, no joke! Petit Pierre always brings something new, trendy, and fun to the pastry scene. You can count on them to deliver interesting seasonal flavors and creative bakes that never miss (and make for trendy social media posts).

    Grilled Veggie Panini

Stopped in for a quick sandwich I got the grilled veggie panini and it was really good, the vegetables tasted fresh and were grilled nicely. A little seasoning would elevate the flavors more.

Our family loves croissants... especially fancy french pain au chocolat! These did not disappoint!! In fact, they were so good, we almost didn't get a picture of the flakey buttery goodness! Also, the enclosed patio was perfect!

    Raspberry chocolate dessert

The first time I visited the store, I walked out empty handed because we came in the afternoon and the selection was very very minimal. However, we decided to come back and try it again and went on a Sunday a bit past noon and was happy to see there was a lot of selection and that the place was quite busy. We got the apple turnover, the pumpkin coffee cake and the raspberry chocolate croissant dessert thing. The apple turnover was really flaky and soft but didn't taste overly buttery. The pumpkin coffee cake was dense and filling and had good flavor. Lastly, the chocolate raspberry croissant thing was SO GOOD. Even with the $10.75 price, I would get it again! It had a lot of filling, which was like chocolate pudding and raspberry. The chocolate filling was sweet while the raspberry filling was sour. The outside croissant was flaky yet soft. With the outer coat of dark chocolate, it just tasted so good. So glad we gave it another chance, just make sure to come earlier so they have a good selection!

I had really high hopes for this place but my expectations fell a bit short. I wanted to try their pistachio chocolate croissant as well as their cruffin, but they were out of the cruffin when I went. There isn't too much seating and it was quite full when we went. We got the pistachio pan au chocolate and the seasonal supreme spiral croissant, which was strawberry chocolate. While both were good, nothing really blew me away. I could barely taste the pistachio in the croissant, but the chocolate was nice and melty. The supreme croissant did have good flavor, but wasn't anything that memorable either.

We were in Phinney Ridge getting bread from another bakery down the street when we came across Petit Pierre and decided to make a stop. Unlike the other bakery, there was no line and we were in and out quickly, digging into the pastries soon afterwards. Almond Croissant ($6.50) - This is a more traditional almond croissant (e.g. not the Bakery Nouveau-type twice baked croissant that patisseries around Seattle love to bake). The croissant is cut in half and slathered with a frangipane that's quite processed. It's very yellow in color with all the almond skins completely removed, and it's smooth, moist, and very sweet. It's almost as if they blended almond meat with a ton of sugar syrup. It's not my favorite frangipane to be honest, but hey, even less good frangipane is still good! Otherwise, the almond croissant is well laminated with a honeycomb structure that's on the airier side. It's not especially buttery, but the interior stands up well to the sweetness of the frangipane. The top is spread with a generous layer of frangipane, baked until golden, sliced almonds, and powdered sugar. (4.5/5) Pistachio Chocolate Croissant ($6.50) - This pastry is basically a pain au chocolat that has been cut in half and slathered with a pistachio cream. It's topped with a coarser pistachio blend studded with pieces of pistachio, enhancing the sweet nutty flavor. As with the almond frangipane, the pistachio cream is very smooth, almost custardy, but with good pistachio flavor. For some reason, the interior cream creates large air pockets in the croissant - perhaps there's excess moisture? Still, the croissant is plenty tasty, and the addition of two batons of chocolate in the center certainly helps things out even more! (4/5) Kouign Amann ($6.25) - This pastry is brushed with a salted sugar syrup on the exterior - not quite as much syrup as most other kouign amanns, so there's no extremely sticky caramelized layer on the bottom. A nice sprinkling of pearl sugar on top adds crunch and additional sweetness. The interior is denser and not as layered as the croissants, more resembling a brioche, perhaps. There's layers of sugar syrup baked inside, making the interior actually more sweet than the outside. Even with all the sugar, it's not overwhelmingly sweet and is instead quite well balanced with the salt. This is one of the better kouign amanns I've had. (5/5) The pastries served at Petit Pierre Bakery are pretty solid. They're well balanced in taste and are very well constructed. I'll be back the next time I'm in Phinney Ridge. Ask the Community - Petit Pierre Bakery

Is Celine open for dine in now - July 2022?

Updated my previous reply to this question. Yes, open for interior and exterior onsite dining. Note: June 2022 onward this is Petit Pierre Bakery. This is no longer Celine Patisserie (9/8/22)

Does Celina Patisserie have dairy-free options?

Not sure about the food, but they have non-dairy milks for their coffees. I believe they have almond milk and possibly one other option.

Do they have wifi for customers?

    Yes!

Does anybody know if Celine Patisserie offers gift certificates? I have a friend who just moved to Seattle. I found Celine Patisserie on yelp with great reviews. If I can, I would like to send a gift certificate to her. Thank you very much.

Mariko, yes they do. Just call Alexei & Danielle up. They're a husband & wife team, & are very innovative, friendly, & genuinely around to help. Just call them, and say Ali sent you to ask about the gift certificates. They'll be happy to help you… Read more

I tried the fall seasonal Medici mocha with an apple cinnamon pull apart and my husband tried the cortado and a latte. The quality is great and it's one of those places that doesn't make overly sweet drinks so if you like a mocha that is very coffee forward in flavor, this is a great option. They also have vegan friendly breakfast pastries and burritos so you can accommodate multiple people of varying diets. And a shoutout to the server for toasting my scone. It came out warm, not dry, not too cheesy, just how I like it. Matcha latte w/ almond milk was alright, knowing this can't be compared to what I can get at tea cafes. I love how they make this place green w/ all sorts of indoor plants. Plants do light up the area and mood given that Seattle can be so gloomy around this time. Def coming back if I'm in the area again.
