Remy was serving the counter seamlessly and was a pleasure to meet. I decided to sit outdoors in their patio area since it was such a nice day. I was brought my food by a nice young gent who was very polite. As for the food, the red lentil was no disappointment. It was a smoother version than most (which I liked) but still had a bunch of noticeable carrot pieces. So double win there. As for part two of the veggie meal, the portobello mushroom was well cooked and flavourful and there was enough goat cheese and a nice selection of grilled veggies on a soft bun, but unfortunately the veggies were too al dente which took away from the overall enjoyment of said burger. After reading a few online blogs, we decided to try Crusty's for their burgers and sandwiches. They offer a fully halal menu. They were a bit out of the way from the main tourist sights in Montreal but we thought it was worth a shot. They ended up running out of burgers, so we ended up trying some of their other sandwiches. Overall, the portions and flavors were decent, and nothing too impressive. The ambiance was the highlight of the visit. The burgers seem to be the real selling point, so it may be worth revisiting.

They seemed to be intentional with their options, which I appreciate.
