Allo Mon Coco crepes and signature breakfast

All I can say is wow. Huge portions of delicious breakfast items. Come hungry. The signature Allo Mon Coco meals are wonderful.

Loved the food..Took the Allo man special and they gave us quite a lot of food..If you want to have a brunch this is the place. Definitely try the casserole here. For a brunch noon, it fills your appetite. Waitress was friendly too. We missed out their Monday to Friday lunch special but the food was Would definitely go again here.

No idea why I came here I'm not a fan of fast food breakfast chains but since I was starting work in this area I decided to grab some breakfast. The wait wasn't to long but it was so loud and packed with people it was almost to much to even enjoy my breakfast. Would I come back no.

My family and I had this place recommended to us while we were visiting Montréal. It was amazing! The menu is very extensive and they have many options. Service was quick and efficient. Cassandra was an amazing server, very friendly. Would definitely come back if we had the time.

Decent and convenient breakfast place. Located right at the corner of my work, I had to try it out someday. As someone who usually rather not go to chain restaurants, my hunger talked this time and let me to the closest place I could find. We were seated fairly quickly for lunchtime on a weekday. The service also was fairly quick and good. As for the food, it is pretty much what you would find for a breakfast chain restaurant. That includes slightly overpriced meals for what it is, and the same choices of eggs and sweets (waffles, crepes, etc). I personally went for the chicken with waffle. I have to admit I was disappointed by the chicken itself which was slightly dry. The fruits included in the plate were also very scant. As for the eggs, no complains, but that's how it should be when you pay 15$+ for some eggs!

There were a lot of food choices. Breakfast and lunch on the same menu. Staff were nice and welcoming. This was my first time in this franchise, and would like to come again!

Big meals!

I've had mixed experiences here. First time, it was great! Got the cheddar and spinach buckwheat Pancakes. It came with a ton of potatoes and some fruit. It was delicious and quite cheap. Around 17 if I recall correctly. The staff was really funny and attentive. Just a wonderful experience! Second time, I decided to order the same thing, because I just didn't get enough of it. I wanted more! However, the waitress barely came over to see us and after my coffee was empty, she passed by multiple times and didn't refill. I ended up asking for a refill. She came by three times. Once to take our order, once to deliver it and once for us to pay. It's understandable, right? But when I'm my meal came, she gave me an omelette. If I got something similar to a buckwheat pancake, I would've taken it and appreciated the change. However, an omelette was nowhere near what I wanted. I don't even like omelettes that much! When I told her it wasn't what I ordered, she apologized once and told me I should just take it, because the kitchen is busy. So, I did. She didn't come back till we were done and just gave us our bill. Oh and funny thing, the coffee refill I asked for, it never came.

2 eggs with bacon, pancake and their amazing own potatoes

I just went here yesterday for brunch and I'm so happy I discovered the place! I had heard about it before but never been. The portions are huge, so it's a very good choice for brunch, especially if you are hungover, this place will cure you! I got the two eggs with bacon and potatoes and pancake, which was still pretty big, but compared to their other things in the menu, mine was relatively small. The prices are fine for what you get and the coffee is included with the breakfast as well. The only thing is you have to get their in a good time, or else there will be a line-up cause its pretty busy. Also, I heard that this Allo Mon Coco in Cotes de Neiges is better then their other branch. But would definitely recommend this place, at least I'm going back there for sure!

Best breakfast to start the new year . Everything was cooked to perfection

But before even checking in, we had to walk through Bar George ~ and instantly knew we wanted to eat there. We were lucky enough to grab a last-minute reservation, and Julien took a good care of us throughout the evening. His recommendation of the Beef Wellington was spot on (it's already one of our favorite dishes), but this was hands down the best we've ever had. I ordered the lobster risotto, which was excellent with just the right amount of spice. My son had the 10 oz striploin steak with homemade fries (chips), and it was absolutely delicious. I also loved the Canadian touch of coarse salt on the steak, plus the option to choose between Béarnaise or peppercorn sauce. Julien also mentioned their pastry chef placed second in a NY competition, and the desserts absolutely lived up to that reputation. We tried the pineapple and coconut pavlova and the "lick me hazelnut" ~ both beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. We also ordered iced coffee and a latte, and noticed something interesting: this was the second place where we found Canadian coffee to be smooth and mild ~ such a nice change from the often bitter, over-roasted American coffee. Yes, dinner was a bit steep ($300+), but it was worth every penny. Between the rich history, stunning design, outstanding service, and unique cuisine, I would highly recommend Bar George. I would absolutely love to come back!!

I couldn't finish the Egg on Your Face, so I had the rest for lunch (it was almost as good cold!). But it was DELICIOUS. Everything was really tasty and the croissants are so flaky. Service is fast - but you can tell some of the items are freshly made (like the French toast and panini). The atmosphere is adorable & quaint. Seating is a bit crowded, but that makes it charming.

It was very busy when we arrived, but we were told it would only be a 10 minute wait. We sat outside on a bench, and waited to be called. I admired the ambiance as we were shown to our table. It was full, and noisy, but so much that we couldn't talk to each other. Bonus points for whoever designed the sound system that played 80s music during our visit. Enough speakers to fill the room with sound, and the system didn't need to played loud to be enjoyed. Coffee was superb. Just the right strength, with lovely notes of chocolate. I had the chicken melt, which was incredible. Real chicken pieces, sauce with a touch of heat, and toppings with just the right amount of savoury. Her panini was equally good. The star of the meal was the french roast. Heated all the way through, with the right balance of fruit, cheese, and syrop.

I stayed there recently, and on the morning of my check-out I received a phone call with devastating news about a life-threatening medical emergency in my immediate family. I was on the phone trying to resolve the problem with Emergency Room doctors and lost track of the time. When I received a call from the hotel management to inform me that I had overstayed my time in the room, I raced at lightening speed to clear out of the room. Minutes later, I cleared out of the room, which I left immaculate and ready to be sold to another guest. I departed the room well before the 4pm check-in time for new guests; I checked out just 2 hours late (literally it was 2 hours). They nonetheless slapped me with a $60 fine for this very small, very human error. It was one of the worst days of my life, I was in tears and begged them not to charge me. I am also disabled and they not only refused to remove the $60 fine, they also did not help me with my bags when my taxi came, they let me limp and drag my own luggage to the curb. I am beyond shocked at this cruelty and greed, at this utter lack of compassion and inability to relate to a fellow human being as anything other than a cash cow. I will never forget being treated this way when I was in distress. Also the breakfast is terrible and overpriced; the coffee was cold, the fruit was flavorless and dried out, there were few fresh and healthy choices, mostly ultra processed yoghurt and cereals, commercialized white bread. All for $25, way too much in a city with such incredible food. I do not enjoy giving negative reviews, and I tried to resolve this both in person and on the phone subsequently and was met with cold indifference at every turn.

The bar is first come, first served, so if you forget to book ahead, it's definitely worth trying your luck. You can still order anything from the full menu. The modern, upscale interior sets the tone for a fancy brunch experience that feels both elegant and welcoming. Foie gras for breakfast? Absolutely yes. They also have a full bar for anyone who wants something pretty to sip on while enjoying their meal. The servers were bilingual in French and English, and they were kind, attentive, and made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. My goal was to eat as much foe grais as I can on this trip so I ordered the Foie Gras Poached Eggs. OMG starting off with the bread that was on the bottom, it was so soft and fluffy. Literally melted in my mouth. The foie gras had a beautiful sear and was rich and silky, with a texture that honestly reminded me of ice cream. There was also a touch of sweetness in the sauce that cut through the richness in the best way. Every bite was perfectly balanced. I was super impressed and will absolutely try to visit again the next time I'm in Montreal.
