    Eggs Benedict with mushrooms
    Joy H.

Great breakfast spot! We always come here when we're in Montreal, it's a staple! They offer a variety of breakfast and lunch items, so there's probably something for everyone. All their items are pretty massive. I'm almost positive pretty much any of these can be shared, if you don't want to completely stuff yourself. We got the guzzler breakfast and eggs Benedict with mushrooms. Everything is wonderfully greasy--it's definitely not for people on a diet. It's super delicious and it's definitely a hearty breakfast done right. Despite the price being a little high, I think the quantity of food received makes up for it.

Same as the other branches, food is ok, the menu is huge to appeal to all tastes, and the service is pretty fast. When you want brunch on a weekday with your friends and you're all students, this is the place. I don't like their milkshakes though, they taste like Mcdonald's milkshakes.

Doesn't receive enough credit on Yelp! The portions ARE MASSIVE. If you want to be in a breakfast/brunch coma all day, this is where you go. There's usually a line, but it'll be worth it! The quality of food for the price you pay was amazing! Service was great, everyone was friendly and inviting. The menu has a large variety to choose from, so you're bound to find something for you! There wasn't a long wait time when receiving our food. Dishes were flavourful and everything complemented each other very well. Absolutely no complaints about this breakfast spot, aside from Toronto needs one!

Breakfast with blueberry pancakes.. so good!

Omg!! This is a breakfast lovers paradise!! This is a chain restaurant I believe because they had a bunch of these in Montreal but, man oh man, they did it right for breakfast!! They have so many different things you can order, eggs, pancakes, crepes, waffles, fruits, potatoes and combo plates if you wanna try a little of everything! I got the combo plate with blueberry pancakes it was so much food! And I loved that it comes with a side of beans! So funny they don't serve beans with breakfast in America, but I thought it went perfectly! Everyone loved their food, I think the only miss was a smoothie that just wasn't sweetened enough but everything else was delicious! Highly recommend, stop in, especially if your in the mood for breakfast!

Alright brunch option in downtown Montreal, but I wouldn't come here again. My friend wanted to go to this other place but it was closed so we came here. I ordered a cafe au lait and I could've done without it. It was watery and a bit bland, but looked good. I also ordered the Breakfast Poutine (interesting, but hey, it was my first meal in Montreal this trip!) I got it with scrambled eggs and I liked the Benedict sauce, but the potatoes were mediocre. I do really like the booths and overall vibe of the place. It reminded me of old-fashioned diners.

Pascual is the right guy. Attention to details from start to end. Food is AMAZING and location very close to downtown 5 stars all around

We were a big group and they were able to accommodate us! Props for that and for the quick service! However, the food was pretty bland and came out a bit cold. It's ok, but nothing to rave about or come back for. They have a pretty wide variety of breakfast plates, and portions are large (omelettes are 5 eggs!)

As the regular customer here, it's full of all kind of choices with reasonable prices on the menu..(they have healthy choices if you are on diet as well)if you're tired of waiting for the 1- hour line in front of some internet popular brunch places, it never goes wrong to choose allo mon coco

Horrible marketing. Super expensive tiny drink not worth it at all

I got a bubble soda for 6 fricken dollars and it was marketed as a large glass. I got the tinniest cup and it was so disappointing.

A great place to go for a filling breakfast. I had their waffle combo that was perfect! It comes with a side of eggs, potatoes and toast!

    Banana & Nutella crepe

Great brunch spot! Very reasonably priced - they give so much food for one plate. The hot chocolate was really good and I loved the crepe! The service was very friendly. Would definitely come again, the menu had lots of things to try!

Our relatives brought us to Allo Mon Coco for breakfast. There are quite a few locations in Montreal. I think this is the branch we visited. The breakfast did not disappoint. Each of us was happy and stuffed! Our crepes were extremely delicious!! Sorry, but I do not remember the names of our crepes. Have a feeling that they are all good. Highly recommend visiting one of their locations when in Montreal!!

I gotta say - Allô Mon Coco surprised me. With an extensive menu, cheap coffee, and diner aesthetic - it's hard to find fault with this branch of a regional chain. I followed the advice of my friend and got Eggs Benedict with Avocado price. Soon later, a hefty array of food arrived with no only my eggs, but also fruit and potatoes. In totality, the food was good but nothing fantastic and life changing. If you're in Montreal for a quick stop - don't go but if one is a local craving quick and relatively affordable diner food - they will not leave Allô Mon Coco disappointed.

But before even checking in, we had to walk through Bar George ~ and instantly knew we wanted to eat there. We were lucky enough to grab a last-minute reservation, and Julien took a good care of us throughout the evening. His recommendation of the Beef Wellington was spot on (it's already one of our favorite dishes), but this was hands down the best we've ever had. I ordered the lobster risotto, which was excellent with just the right amount of spice. My son had the 10 oz striploin steak with homemade fries (chips), and it was absolutely delicious. I also loved the Canadian touch of coarse salt on the steak, plus the option to choose between Béarnaise or peppercorn sauce. Julien also mentioned their pastry chef placed second in a NY competition, and the desserts absolutely lived up to that reputation. We tried the pineapple and coconut pavlova and the "lick me hazelnut" ~ both beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. We also ordered iced coffee and a latte, and noticed something interesting: this was the second place where we found Canadian coffee to be smooth and mild ~ such a nice change from the often bitter, over-roasted American coffee. Yes, dinner was a bit steep ($300+), but it was worth every penny. Between the rich history, stunning design, outstanding service, and unique cuisine, I would highly recommend Bar George. I would absolutely love to come back!!

The restaurant didn't provide a high chair for our baby, which was a bit disappointing. The service was good with our waitress checking with us to order and being prompt and attentive. Here is what we ordered: Grilled Cheese O+G (8/10) - the bread with the grilled cheese and caramelized onions were cooked well. The homemade ketchup had a sweet taste to it and was brought out a little colder than room temperature. I probably would have preferred the ketchup/tomato sauce to be a bit warmer. The Chicken Melt (8/10) - this sandwich was pretty big. It had grilled chicken in a creamy sauce, some Cole slaw (actually a lot of Cole slaw) and some dill pickles. The sandwich was a bit messy to eat and I think it had a little too much Cole slaw, but it was a good sandwich, nonetheless. Overall, I good experience with a few suggestions in my review that I think would have made it really great.

I stayed there recently, and on the morning of my check-out I received a phone call with devastating news about a life-threatening medical emergency in my immediate family. I was on the phone trying to resolve the problem with Emergency Room doctors and lost track of the time. When I received a call from the hotel management to inform me that I had overstayed my time in the room, I raced at lightening speed to clear out of the room. Minutes later, I cleared out of the room, which I left immaculate and ready to be sold to another guest. I departed the room well before the 4pm check-in time for new guests; I checked out just 2 hours late (literally it was 2 hours). They nonetheless slapped me with a $60 fine for this very small, very human error. It was one of the worst days of my life, I was in tears and begged them not to charge me. I am also disabled and they not only refused to remove the $60 fine, they also did not help me with my bags when my taxi came, they let me limp and drag my own luggage to the curb. I am beyond shocked at this cruelty and greed, at this utter lack of compassion and inability to relate to a fellow human being as anything other than a cash cow. I will never forget being treated this way when I was in distress. Also the breakfast is terrible and overpriced; the coffee was cold, the fruit was flavorless and dried out, there were few fresh and healthy choices, mostly ultra processed yoghurt and cereals, commercialized white bread. All for $25, way too much in a city with such incredible food. I do not enjoy giving negative reviews, and I tried to resolve this both in person and on the phone subsequently and was met with cold indifference at every turn.
