The parking lot was full when we arrived around 8pm but seating was still open. I had the baked mac n cheese which also came with a delicious bowl of potato soup and a salad with ranch dressing. My husband ordered the fish and chips. That also came with his choice of bean and ham soup and he choose coleslaw over salad. My soup was delicious, I wish I would have taken a picture before I started eating. It is served with cheese, sour cream, bacon and chives on top. Very good. The salad was crisp, the veggies were good and it was a great ranch dressing. The macaroni and cheese is the best I have ever had out to eat and I order it everytime. Very cheesy with thick bites of bacon throughout. My husband's fish was hot, crisp and delicious, same with the fries. He liked the coleslaw a lot as well, but said it was served in a warm bowl? Had dinner at Pete's Place and husband and I got seated immediately. Our waitress was very cheerful and she took our drink order and delivered them and said she would give us some time to look at the menu. We waited 15 min for her to return and take our meal order, at least they have several TV's on the walls to check out. Large place which was clean. After waiting 20 min our meal arrived and it was hot off the grill. I ordered the smash burger and got fries, it was very good and fries were tasty and hot. We tried this place on a Friday night around 6 pm. The parking lot was packed and we got the last spot. We did get seated right away at a nice high top table near the window. Our server was great! Her name is Chris (sp?) she was very helpful and friendly since this was our first time here. I was disappointed that there was no Blue Moon on tap. I had to have a bottle which I don't love. I had the potato soup and it was tasteless. It did come out hot though. The chicken club was bland. My husband also said his gyro was bland. I think that was the theme here. Bland. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things. Maybe I would try this place again if I am in the area. The place is nice. Very spacious with some televisions on the walls to watch games. The food & staff are wonderful!!! But owner is a piece of garbage. This is the second time we have been there in 6 weeks & could not use our gift card. The 1st time they said their system was down & could not accept the gift card but system would be fixed that week. Here it is 5 weeks later & get the same answer of they could not accept the gift card again!! Same excuse as the last time! Manager said she called the owner & the owner said nothing he can do just have to pay the bill! The manager went out of her way to discount the bill! When you plan to use a $50 gift card towards your $100 bill it's pretty inconvenient twice now. read more

It has been a long time since my last visit. I remembered that they have great mushroom soup on Wednesdays and a great Albacore tuna melt. I got both and they did not disappoint. The soup was served piping hot as soup should be served and the tuna melt was seasoned very well, tasted great, and served with very good homemade chips. I would not change a thing. Until today they forgot one dinner a smashed burger which is a staple of there's and that's fine mistakes happen but when I receive a " smashed burger" it is soaked with dressing and looks as if the patties were thrown on there. I have mixed feelings on this restaurant but I would try them again since it was my first time there. The menu looked great the food looked fantastic. I order fried green beans, beer fried mushrooms, crab cakes and a vegetarian grinder to take home. The grinder was a vegetarian's dream because every pepper and onion were cut big and not minced pieces a little seasoning would have made it perfect the bread was soft but not soggy. The fried mushrooms were good as well as the green beans. The crab cakes were the most disappointing because it just crumbled into small pieces as I tried to eat it. Now with all my food I got one drink. My waitress forgot to bring me napkins, she never asked if I wanted a refill and then when bringing me my vegetarian grinder to go she tells me she forgot my salad that I wanted instead of the potato chips they serve with it. I rate the food a B-/ and the waitress a C-. I left her a $10 tip and would love to have left more had she done a better job. Do not order online. I ordered dinner for me and my wife online. Said it would be 25 minutes. My wife went to go pick it up and they couldn't find it even though they charged my card. Took them an hour from when I ordered to give it to my wife only to have her lasagna burnt and my chicken tenders cold and my fries soggy and cold as well. I asked for no tomatoes or onions on my salad and my wife had to have them remake that before she left because it was on the salad. My wife said she overheard a cook say the lasagna was burnt and needed to remake it but they still gave her a burnt piece. Unreal. On the rare occasion I am downriver, I have to eat at Pete's. My fiancé introduced me to this place and it's definitely worth stopping in for a bite. They seem to be known for their loaded baked potatoe soup, which is hearty and comforting. The Chili really grabbed me most recently. Not too thick, full of flavor and filling. They offer two types of fries, curly and regular. The curly fries remind me of an Arby's fry and the regular fries remind me of a Rallys fry. Both are addicting. Got here on Mother's Day for lunch. Walked in and got seated right away. Did they come to take our drink water or see if we wanted to get appetizers? No. They came 15 minutes later asking if we wanted something else to drink at that point we already figured out what we wanted to have for lunch. The place was half busy, but it took more than 40 minutes for the food to come out. When they brought out the food, one of the orders was missing side of vegetables that came with a meal. When they said it's coming right out, it took eight minutes to get to the table at which point when they came out they were still steaming hot therefore they completely forgot to make those veggies, threw them in the microwave and brought them out to the table. We have a group of five people for the Mother's Day, trying to enjoy a meal with the mother and the grandmother only to sit around waits on absolutely horrendous service. The waitress came to the table the total off two times not including when she was bringing the food. The food was decent, but definitely not worth the wait. Stopped by for the first time and ordered the soup/salad/sandwich lunch combo and the kids soup/sandwich combo. First off the salad came out with croutons on it that was made from random bread leftovers I'm assuming which is normal for most restaurants but they also recycled French toast and it made me want to throw up on my salad with ranch dressing, my knife and fork had food still on them, the plate under my soup looked as if it had not even been washed. The table we were sitting at had something spilled under the table and every time I tried to stand I slipped. It was a horrible experience and to make it worse when I brought it up to the staff she said "ehh" and when on ringing out my check and said have a good day..... WHAT??? Our lunch started our strong. After looking over a 10 page menu we both decided on soup and a sandwich. We both gave the soup 4/5. Hubby had a Greek side salad and that was good too. Our soggy sandwiches were another matter. He had a smoked Turkey sandwich on a good crusty roll and I had a Dinty Moore with fries. Both were 80% cole slaw with a small bit of meat. My sandwich was so soggy it was dripping and I ended up just eating the meat. The fries and chips were just OK. The service started out OK but after our sandwiches were put down our waitress was nowhere to be seen until we got our check. No drink refills. I've always enjoyed eating at Pete's restaurant. The serving size is amazing. The food, VERY good, and so are the drinks. The ambiance is inviting and spacious, the service, well, I was a little disappointed today. Me and my daughter had lunch, our main waitress was nice buy I've been served by better. After our meal, I left out and forgot my carry out unfortunately. Soon as I realized it 2 minutes later I called my daughter who had just pulled out of parking lot and asked her if she would turn around and grab it only for it to be thrown away. I understand that food can't be held for any unreasonable time just because someone left there food, but when I tell you it wasn't 5 minutes that's being generous. I'm upset because I sincerely feel like they should have at least given it 15 whole minutes. Please with what little I did eat but disappointed I won't know how the rest is. read more

I had lunch here with my Dad and it was really good I got the chicken finger wrap, my dad got the chicken Parmesan, and the little girl I had with me got the grilled cheese and fries. It was really good and the waitress was very nice, I don't recall her name. The chicken was done perfectly. And I got a cup of the loaded potato soup which was really good. The wrap I had came with either honey mustard or ranch dressing which I chose honey mustard. The honey mustard was good even though it was a little runny. It went so well with the wrap. Ordered a Margarita and cheese sticks as starters. Margarita were good (not top shelf, but better ok for an happy hour) and the cheese sticks were as expected. Our server (Stacey - who was awesome) took our orders and the dinners offer soup AND salad along with entree and side. I couldn't believe the amount of food you get. No way could we eat everything. A little undercooked on the steak and it was sent back but came back perfect. I'm not going to ding them for that as the amount of food made up for a small miscue.
