You can see the shaft separating from the joint.
    Zach R.

Went here to get a tip replaced on my $600 shaft and one of his employees replaced the tip but ruined the paint on my shaft. He then attempted to replace the shaft making me wait over a month to receive it and made me give him my old shaft Then had my new one for a week when the seal inside broke. Then tried to make me pay to get it repaired after it was his item that he should be repairing and replacing he tried to blame it on the manufacture, instead of taking responsibility, so I just made him give me my other shaft back because he wasn't having me blame him for ruining my other shaft. Do yourself a favor and go to the Billiards Factory, off of 1604. Way more professional and have had my tips Replaced by them four times with zero issues. they just didn't happen to have the tip. I needed last time that I needed for a tournament. So I thought I'd try petes. Never again

Great service and work. It's nice to know that we have a one-stop shop for pool players in town.

The outdoor patio open and rooming with a very large tree providing strategic shade. I look over their drink menu and order my standard Bulleit Rye Old Fashioned which is one of their "Classic Cocktails" on their menu. Our waitress was super friendly and stopped to chat with us more than once to make sure we were taken care of. My Old Fashioned came out and it was made well. Not too sweet or too much bitters....just right. Overall, I really enjoyed the evening on the patio and have to remember to stop here more often. Next time it will be for lunch to get a great burger.

We did not receive our food until an hour passed, and the burger/tater tots on my plate was already cold when they served me my dish. The place wasn't too crowded, so I was very confused why the food took so long. I wished the waitress could have given us an update on the wait time for the food to come out. I ended up asking another waiter if we could get an estimate on when our order would arrive, and he said that the kitchen was backed up. He went away and I was hoping he would come back and give us a heads up on when we'd be able to get the food but we never heard back from him afterwards. In my head, if the burgers were gonna take this long, it better be life-changing. I say if you're looking for a cool place for drinks, this is a great option. But food and service wise, it's not that good.

Morrissey hadn't graced San Antonio in over 10 years, with past cancellations and postponements haunting fans along the way. So when he finally returned, San Antonio Moz fans showed up and showed out. Despite multiple after-party options across the city, fans from Brazil, the UK, Canada, Japan, and all across the U.S. chose Bang Bang Bar as the place to be on a cold Saturday night. Hosted by local emcee Ricardo Moz and Apollo DJ, the night turned into one for the history books. Bang Bang Bar is easily one of Texas' best dive-lounge bars...the perfect blend of gritty and cozy. Great cocktail program, solid beer selection, and a vibe that just works. The décor leans heavy into a 1950s-60s lounge aesthetic, with intimate spaces like the Blue Room and Yellow Room, perfect for groups of 7-10. Low lighting, warm atmosphere, and zero pretension exactly what you want for a night like this. Bang Bang Bar consistently supports local and touring acts, spanning punk, alternative, and DJ-driven nights, and this Moz Smiths Disco was no exception. It was wall-to-wall classics all night long. Major credit to Phanie and the Bang Bang Bar management they rolled up their sleeves, brought in extra bar staff, and handled an overwhelming crowd like pros. Fans waited up to 45 minutes in the cold, with a line wrapping around the building, and the energy inside never dipped. As the host of Panic On The Streets, I'm incredibly thankful to Bang Bang Bar for helping us pull off one of the best after-parties we've done in years. Fittingly, 2026 marks the 10-year anniversary of both Bang Bang Bar and Panic On The Streets of San Antonio and what a way to celebrate. Bang Bang Bar has long been one of my favorite bars in town, and after this night, that reputation is more than earned. Can't wait to do another Moz Smiths Disco here. -- Panic On The Streets of San Antonio

I also enjoy how each couch area is its own living room setup (think of what you see when shopping for couches/coffee tables) and feel/vibe. I make it a point to come and visit this bar any time I'm in San Antonio. We love supporting Phanie and her bands in any way possible. Girl in a Coma and FEA 4ever!

When we walked in there was maybe 10 people in the whole place (including the staff and DJ). The place was small but clean and decorated nice with pictures of Houdini and magic themed artwork and posters. I let the fella at the door know it was our first time and asked what we could expect. He was really nice and pointed out the dance floor, bar, side room with pool table and darts, the restrooms and the side patio with some fun leather couches placed outside. Later he even bought us each a drink if we promised to stick around for awhile, which we did. After a couple drinks (which we're tasty and delicious and prepared right) on the back patio, we wandered in to the dance floor area and sat at a table. The DJ played a mix of music and I heard stuff from Depeche Mode all the way to My Life with Thrill Kill Cult but it definitely leaned more towards Industrial night. After a while, when the bar didn't get much busier and we were getting a little bored, we finally decided to leave around 11:30pm. I was bummed we didn't get to see any magic. It seemed like a cool place to lounge and hear music and I read that not only do they have magic but also burlesque shows as well as comedy nights. I am thinking we just happened to hit a slow night but I would definitely go back.

Located on Hildebrand just over the railroad tracks from Monte Vista is an experience. A sight to be seen. And unfortunately, I was so blown away by everything I didn't even get my phone out to add pics to their Yelp page, so rest assured I'll be back. This bar is frozen in time. I truly wished I had rocked a perm and a neon colored blazer with sleeves I could push up to my elbows. I mean, I'm pretty sure no one in here noticed it wasn't 1983 anymore. Mirrors everywhere, water features *inside*, fog-a-plenty - very strip-club chic. It's absolutely beautiful. This is for sure a place for regulars. They were a bit unsure of us as we dropped in. But we only stayed long enough for a couple drinks so we probably could have gotten them to warm up to us. Also, the drinks (beer only and cash only) are so cheap here and they have snacks all over the place like Heather said in plastic martini glasses, and the music. Ahhh the music. Let's just say it's a celebration at Da Traxx most of the time... So, three stars to you, Da Traxx, one for each of the x's in your name and another for all the neon you're still rockin in your decor.

True to it's name it is five yards from the railroad tracks that paralell San Pedro. Inside, the decor is... difficult to categorize-mirrors everywhere, UV & DJ lights, fake torches, even a mirrored grotto fountain. Imagine the interior decoration equivalent of Manfred Mann's Blinded By The Light translated to interior. I half expected to see a sugar bowl full of blow on one of the tables. You can tell by the way the building is finished out that the space was once a strip club. As my friend characterized it "Ths whole place is just a monument to when [the owner] was the s**t in the 80s." On the wall by the pool table hang framed photos of the man, proudly posing with Tyson & assorted feather-haired actresses and porn stars. Closer inspection reveals the place to be very clean (for a bar) - we grabbed a table that was pre-set with napkins and washed glass ashtrays. All of this seems oddly juxtaposed to the older crowd and blaring tejano played from the owner's CD collection. He was perfectly willing to put on a mix CD from my car upon request. It is cash only, and they only have a beer license. If you want something different and funny-check it out.

I could see this being a great meeting spot for a small group to host a private party. There's even a few modern slot machines near the front. We came on a Monday afternoon, so we didn't try any drinks. The wings and food is apparently supplied by Gold Feather, (a chicken chain with a location by North Star). Unfortunately, the food was the worst part. The side of fries is super small for $5. We got a chicken tender basket with the jalapeño ranch rub and it was sooooo salty! It had a nice kick to it, but was unbearable to eat in the salt. We also ordered fried pickles, which had such a light batter it was falling off the pickle. It seemed like it was fried after the chicken so it was also pretty salty. The servers seemed really nice here, but someone didn't prep the food quite right. The chicken was also pretty dry. I feel bad the food wasn't good cause otherwise it's be a really fun spot! I think we'd still come back to watch a game, shoot some pool and have a drink or two.
