This place took forever to deliver my pool table. I purchased one online from Ozone billiards and Somar billiards delivered it and set it up. I had to wait a month for my table. I am pretty sure this is longer than the norm because Ozone called me after two weeks to ask if I had my table yet. Somar Billiards called me first because they were unsure which table was mine. I don't know how that happens but that is really not cool. They also delivered the wrong pool stick. I don't know why they didn't ask me which one was mine if they weren't sure. They already had me on the phone to ask me which table was mine, they should have asked about this while they were at it. Instead, they ended up mailing me my stick and made me wait an additional four more days before getting it. This was after I had waited almost a month for the table to be delivered. They should have driven it over. I am not sure why that didn't happen. I can only guess they just don't really care about their customers. When the stick came, it had a gash in it. I had to get on the phone with the company. They also did a very poor job of placing the cue ball sticker on the table. It was not centered and was not properly adhered to the table. Although I did get my pool table a few years earlier, unless things changed drastically, this company is a lot better than the recent reviews make it out. They were on time, reasonably priced on a refinished Olhausen 8' table, and did a masterful job leveling the 3-piece slate and covering with felt. read more

Thankful for a great company and well managed crew at Somar Billiards. Went in a few weeks ago and was taken care of from the moment I walked into the door and the exact time I left. Jorge and his crew are amazing at what they do. I'd highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a pool table, maintenance, accessories, and moving a pool table. Do not get any pool table services done by this company!!!! They will not honor their warranty when they fail to do the job right the first time. If you use their services you will just have to pay another company to come and fix their screw ups! read more
