I wouldn't say it's a pregame spot per say because it very very laid back but definitely a great spot to go to if you want out of the house but you don't want to be surrounded by anyone. This is probably one of the most hospitable hookah lounges I've been to in America. It has such a homey and laid back vibe. The crowd wasn't too large for a Friday night. There was maybe 20-25 people to include us. Many were in jeans and sweats so I enjoyed that I didn't have to overdress. The music was good as well. It was a 2010s rap playlist and I had to guess. We're avid hookah smokers, so we had to ask for an extra coal (or two) throughout the night but not once did we get a gripe or sense any negativity. The favor was great though. The crowd is 21+. The place is a little bit on the small side (cozy) and low lit so, it has a kind of intimate atmosphere which is nice. They have a couple of flat screens in the lounge area that you can cast YouTube to, which is cool. They also have cool music playing which adds to the chill vibe here. The menu is full of good flavors and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The only reason that I gave it 3 stars is because I think that the ventilation could be a little bit better, otherwise I would have given 4 stars (4 stars is usually where I top out at unless a place is like "OMG type of amazing"). They don't honor the discount for the Yelp check-in. The girl working spent the whole time chatting with a guy instead of working. Which I'm cool if your friends are visiting you at work, but if you say you're gonna come check back in a few minutes you should typically come back in a few minutes not never, I was there for. They also put the coals all in the center, so the heat is too high in the center wasting the tobacco while not giving you any tongs to move them and fix them. The hookahs here are really good and the servers are very diligent and make sure it doesn't go bad. They have a great layout and they just renovated and made it even better. The music and the lighting are amazing too. I've never had a bad experience here. If you're checking this place out in the weekend coz the wait times are long but that's coz it's just that good. She told me to come back Monday..Labor Day, when the manager is there as she can't authorize an exchange or a refund. June was extremely nice. Very attentive even though she was the only staff working that night. She was being pulled in a lot of directions it was pretty busy. I like that they have several flavors of shisha to choose from. However the hookah hose was dated and need to be replaced it had tape on it. She apologized and ensured it still smokes good it did but the tape touched my lip at one point and it was over at that point (Covid is still going on). Normally when I visit hookah bars during the pandemic they use disposable hoses! The music was a bit off as well heard the same song back to back at one point. Also they ran out of water and ice as this place is BYOB but they had no ice. Also to not have water available at a hookah bar is a no no real hookah smokers know that you will get light headed. Wow! This place is unlike any other hookah lounge in San Antonio! Place looks like a normal hookah spot from outside so we weren't expecting anything crazy but as soon as we entered, we were greeted by the friendly staff who directed us to the back half of the place that totally surprised us! Lounge has great ambience with cool lighting and comfortable couches. Music was spot on! They serve their hookah on a dragon bowl that I haven't seen anywhere else, hookah came out really smooth. I recommend getting it with ice tips for even smoother experience. The front half of the place is filled with Vapes and smoke accessories, really made it easier for me and saved me a trip.
