Their pizza is AWESOME!! The gyro pizza is my favorite. Recently tried a pepperoni kind which I didn't know they had. Sooo good. Baked on naan bread also. Comes with a spicy sauce to dip in which is really good. Also tried like a meat empanada style thing. It wasn't bad. Highly recommend going to see them.

A thin wire-like piece of metal embedded inside the dessert.

Found what appears to be a piece of metal in my baklava while eating it. Thankfully I noticed before getting hurt. Very concerning and disappointing experience. I hope the restaurant improves its food safety and quality control.

Naara is tucked away in a corner of the shopping center by Alibaba and Baklovah bakery, the entrance is nondescript. Once you're inside though, it's totally different from your expectations. Keep in mind this is a hookah lounge and restaurant, so if you're avoiding places with indoor smoking, you may have to cross this one off your list. Personally I love the smell of the shisha as I'm sitting down and ordering, it's almost like incense. The food is great; my husband and I almost always order the same meal: we share a lamb kebab plate. The food is always fresh and hot. My go-to drink order is the jasmine tea with orange blossom water added, it is so delicious that I can finish a large pot by myself. I also love that they serve it with cute glass cups and small spoons and sugar. I haven't tried smoking hookah here but I'm sure it's a great experience. Pay them a visit if you're in the area, you won't regret it :)

Super cute place with very nice decor. It's also a hookah bar. There's inside seating and outside seating area. Outside seating has lots of fans to help circulate air. Everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful. They really want to make your experience there good. Our server was very attentive. The food was great. It was a new experience of this type of food for me. The Kebob was delicious. We ordered the carrot juice and it was very good. Lots of other dishes were ordered and all were great (didn't take a pic of the menu to be able to mention dishes by name). Get the tzatziki sauce! You will dip everything in it. There were lots of people enjoying hookahs in the outdoor area. Very pleasant place to have tasty food and amazing service.

The seating and decors where my favorite elements to this establishment. They have a lot of traditional middle eastern designs. The service was also good. They were very polite and friendly. I love middle eastern food but it I've honestly wish the flavors here were a bit more pronounced. Overall, still a good experience. Check them out for yourself!

I used to love to go to Naara with my friends to eat Mediterranean food specially Lebanese and some of them used to smoke the hookah. Unfortunately most of them moved away. I tried to go couple of times recently. The food quality has changed. The service forget it! You sit and wait and wait until someone realize you are there. Even the ambiance has changed and the music. The last visit was to eat sahlab which I used to always end my night eating it. Even that became a no no for me. Sorry Naara your old memory will still be in my mind you are not the same anymore

We love the beautiful stained glass decor, which created a very inviting and comfortable ambiance :) !

This evening was our first time dining at Naara Cafe because a friend recommended this to us :) ! The beef and chicken were so juicy and tender, and the carrot glacé drinks were so refreshing on a typically hot and humid day in San Antonio! Our waitress, Adriana, recommended the above since we weren't sure what to select, and her recommendations were truly awesome :D ! She was also a super friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable waitress, and she was very attentive and kept checking on us to make sure we were doing alright :) ! Thank you, Adriana, for making our first time an amazing and extremely pleasant experience :D ! The owner also checked on us and made sure that we were doing ok :) ! We felt very well taken care of :D ! We will definitely be back because of the exceptional customer service we received as first-time diners here :D ! The amazing quality of the food and drinks and the comfortable and inviting ambiance on top of the exceptional customer service really made our first visit totally worth it :D !

Late night stop that started because we were looking for boba but ended up getting food. I recommend checking out their extensive menu. They are open until 4 on the weekends and they have hookah. There's also indoor seating away from any smoke. The Mazze plate was a sampler of the dolma, Samboose, falafel, pita and hummus, and salad. I couldn't decide on an appetizer so I went with this to try them all. It was really good and my favorite was the Samboose. It was almost like a beef empanada filling but with flaky dough. I wasn't crazy about the salad dressing since it was a little sweet but enjoyed everything else. The service is quick and you go up to the counter to pay when you're done.

My first day in San Antonio wanted to get a great meal and some hookah so we came to this establishment! I wasn't impressed when I walked in we weren't greeted nobody really told us what to do so we had to ask! Customer service was lacking So you seat yourself we decided to sit outside because of the beautiful water fountain their were also pretty lamps hanging from the ceiling outside but also the tables inside were dirty unfortunately. The Food & Hookah make up for all of the inconveniences! The Naara salad was so fresh and crunchy and The Koobideh Kabab plate was full of delicious lamb & beef mixed skewer with great rice and char tomatoes 10 out of 10 Hookah: We ordered the flavor Derp which reminded me of a grape berry sensation so good and smooth! 10 out of 10 This hookah lounge is chill everyone is minding there business and enjoying food and hookah 8 out of 10

Evening impromptu stop at this Mediterranean in a part of town we're not in very often. Parking lot was crowded, lights were festive - looked like a cool place. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a big disappointment all around. Word of warning: this place seems much more focused on the hookah than the food. Huge menu of hookah flavors and the pleasant patio area was full of people clearly enjoying their hookah experience. So if that's your thing, head right in! Now - the food and tableware. UGH. Let me recount ALL of the disappointments. First: cheap, flimsy plastic flatware sealed in a cheap clear bag - poor quality even if it was a fast food joint. Hummus: nice texture, but extremely bland. Naan: abundant amount, but flavorless and dry. Yuck. Falafel: looked and tasted like mass production frozen items for an institution cafeteria. Yuck. Again, it was a large amount on the plate, but we left more than half. Falafel plate included pickled red cabbage (pretty to look at, amazingly flavorless), crispy dill pickles chips from a jar, more low quality tomatoes. Best thing on the plate was fresh, thin sliced cucumbers - hard to mess those up! House salad: butt ends of Romaine, more flavorless low quality tomatoes, BLACK olives (where are the KALAMATA?!), and pretend Wishbone Italian dressing. Yuck. The peach tea was actually DELICIOUS - the only thing we enjoyed. Not too sweet, tasted like fresh peach juice was added! Our server was very pleasant and efficient - a nice bright spot in the midst of a dismal dinner. Foodie friends - just say no!

(From April, 2022) My San Antonio trip back in April included a stop here for some hookah. It was near my hotel, reviews looked nice, and it's BYOB; so me and my 6 pack of beer rolled up here with an open mind and an urge to smoke. As many reviewers have noted, the atmosphere and vibe is laid back with plenty of seating outside. You had people doing dinners, playing board games, watching the tvs, or on dates. I grabbed a table near the tv and got my order in and cracked open a beer while watching the NBA game that they graciously put on after myself and others requested it. I always ask what flavors hookah spots have yet I always stick with my go-to: the Watermelon mint. Hard to beat the watermelon flavors combined with the soothing of the mint. It has never failed me so far and did wonders during my visit here. The smoke used isn't thick and the coals are light lalowing for the flavors to come through easier which I appreciate. The menu listed many items that I wanted to try but was full from earlier. So I went with the hummus which came with their garlic mayo and some of that chili oil dripped on the hummus. Fantastic of course; chili oil is a wonderful addition to hummus and soups so I'm glad they recognized to add that here. I saw some food items arrive at tables that looked absolutely delicious such as the shawarma pizza, kofta, and the lamb shank plate. I will have to save my appetite next time I come back here. Quite a gem of a spot in this cool city; it won't be my last visit!

Morrissey hadn't graced San Antonio in over 10 years, with past cancellations and postponements haunting fans along the way. So when he finally returned, San Antonio Moz fans showed up and showed out. Despite multiple after-party options across the city, fans from Brazil, the UK, Canada, Japan, and all across the U.S. chose Bang Bang Bar as the place to be on a cold Saturday night. Hosted by local emcee Ricardo Moz and Apollo DJ, the night turned into one for the history books. Bang Bang Bar is easily one of Texas' best dive-lounge bars...the perfect blend of gritty and cozy. Great cocktail program, solid beer selection, and a vibe that just works. The décor leans heavy into a 1950s-60s lounge aesthetic, with intimate spaces like the Blue Room and Yellow Room, perfect for groups of 7-10. Low lighting, warm atmosphere, and zero pretension exactly what you want for a night like this. Bang Bang Bar consistently supports local and touring acts, spanning punk, alternative, and DJ-driven nights, and this Moz Smiths Disco was no exception. It was wall-to-wall classics all night long. Major credit to Phanie and the Bang Bang Bar management they rolled up their sleeves, brought in extra bar staff, and handled an overwhelming crowd like pros. Fans waited up to 45 minutes in the cold, with a line wrapping around the building, and the energy inside never dipped. As the host of Panic On The Streets, I'm incredibly thankful to Bang Bang Bar for helping us pull off one of the best after-parties we've done in years. Fittingly, 2026 marks the 10-year anniversary of both Bang Bang Bar and Panic On The Streets of San Antonio and what a way to celebrate. Bang Bang Bar has long been one of my favorite bars in town, and after this night, that reputation is more than earned.
