Let me report that I'm glad I did as the bagels are some of the best and dying breed of authentic real New York bagels that have the right amount of chew, airy texture and toast perfectly with some crusty peaks. I got six bagels and some cream cheese as well as a small side of tuna salad. They also have a small five dollar tray of lox slices which is perfect to make a small lox half bagel in case you don't love a heavy pre made lox bagel. Overall, a negative experience. I walked in and the place was very dirty, napkins and garbage all over the floor. Management was totally scatterbrain, i ordered a grilled cheese because i was in a rush and needed something to hold me off. The chefs seemed to know what they were doing, but management wasn't able to keep up and was mixing up orders. Another woman next to me complained of a warm coffee that needed to be heated up. The grilled cheese was super oily, super salty and overall too cheesy. I ended up throwing it away. Owners also charged me a higher price than listed, i didn't appreciate that. read more

Ug, so decided to try this place for the very 1st time and probably last time. My favorite thing to get at any bagel spot is an Everything bagel with cream cheese and lox. I ordered the a scooped out everything bagel with cream cheese and lox. When I got home it wasn't scooped out and there was barely ANY lox as shown in the pic. Cost me $7.61. The bagel tasted fine but had kind of a sweetness to it which I just didn't care for. The place seemed to have only 2 people working. My guess was the owner and a helper. On line there were 3 people including myself. They seemed to be behind like they could of used more help preparing the food. I mean only 3 people waiting for food and they are in the weeds??? The number of items listed on the menu seemed way too much for what they could handle. I rather a spot focus on fewer items and do that really well then have a monster selection with everything coming out mediocre. Think this is just a case of bad management, organization, and common sense. I rather pay more for a really good bagel with cream cheese and lox then to get what I received. Staff is friendly and courteous. Bagel is good. Reminds me more of a Long Island bagel. They are big and fluffy. Knocking a star because today I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a roll. Asked for eggs over medium but they were barely over easy. That I can live with. The knock is because when I got home there was MAYO on the sandwich. In a million years I would never even think to do that. It should be illegal. Ketchup or hot sauce maybe that could happen on accident but mayo is a crime against humanity. This place has gone downhill in the last decade. I ordered the lox & scallion cream cheese bagel (see pic). Extremely disappointing. There were very small bits of chopped lox dispersed throughout the cream cheese and very little scallions as well. For the price point of $7+, the amount they skimped on the primary listed ingredients was outrageous. I also ordered an iced tea with milk. I received a burgundy cup of what initially looked like chocolate milk with white floaties throughout. Upon the initial sip (yeah I don't know why I took a sip either, given the visual) I was very confused. It was a tart tea and I realized it was probably a citrus based tea blend of some sort and that the white floaties was probably curdling milk (yum). I brought the drink to the lady at the counter and asked her if it was lemon tea they added milk to and she just looked confused. She even offered me lemon wedges to add to my drink. I asked her what type of tea it was, but she didn't even know what type of tea she mixed for me. It was definitely like an arnold palmer type of tea base she mixed milk with. She asked the other woman working the counter and she confirmed it was milk tea, but the type of tea is still yet to be determined. Given the difficulty with getting a concrete answer as to what exactly I was served, I figured I would just toss the tart cup of curdled milk floaties into the trash. $3 wasted and no mention of a refund offered. I have no clue why this place doesn't have more stars. Their bagels are huge, fluffy, and the quality is always amazing and consistent. They will even let you know when the hot bagels are coming out and give u a nice fresh one. Tastes straight like heaven. I turned around mid walk home and bought another hot bagel because they were just THAT good. Cream cheese is super fluffy too. Owners seem nice. But super expensive for chicken salad! Menu board says $5.50 per pound but he charged me $5.50 for HALF a pound saying the board's price is incorrect. Never stepping foot in there again! And I live right across the street. I'm a regular customer good for about 40 dollars a week in business. I walked in last Saterday and ordered a bacon,lettuce, tomato,on a roll with mayo and 2 small bottles of gatorade.($10.00) Here is where the fun begins. Upon paying I asked for an empty cup so my son can drink his gatorade and he tried to charge me .50 cents for the cup! But wait there is more. I went back to him and told him that he made a mistake with my order and made me a bacon egg and cheese on a roll with mayo instead of a BLT with mayo. When I said something his response was that's what I ordered the first time. Really???
