I experienced pretty bad tooth pain over the Thanksgiving weekend and of course my dentist was closed for the weekend. The most accomodating and caring dentist i have ever visited. I found Dr Lee thru yelp after I broke one of my molars a few days before christmas. Went into the office and he was almost on his way out and going to be closed for a week. He looked at my tooth and knew how much pain I was in so decided to operate the next day. After cleaning out the broken molar, he performed a root canal and covered it up with permenant crown on the same day (he has one of those fancy machines that molds crowns). It was a two hour procedure but i didnt feel a thing. Dr Lee also called later in the evening to make sure I wasnt in any disomfort. Dr. Lee is a miracle worker. I came to him with a pretty much hopeless tooth.. as I have dreaded dentists for the most part and was negligent for far too long. Desperate to not have an extraction- I came to Dr. Lee. Not only did he save my tooth.. he went above and beyond to make sure it was done perfectly. After evaluating it under time sensitive circumstances he cleared out the afternoon for me to make sure that he had enough time to dedicate to me and save my natural tooth. Dr. Lee is by far the best dentist I've had. When I had my cleaning, he did the x-rays to see if I needed fillings and there was one tooth that looked like it needed a crown. When I went in for the crown though, he took a closer look at the tooth and was able to fix it with a filling instead (saving me a thousand dollars!)!! He focuses on what you need and he takes pride in his work, meaning it comes out top notch. This has all been during COVID and he takes precautions to only have one patient at a time. He also has a very convenient and easy communication system where you can text him to discuss your appointment and personally that's so much quicker for me. As my previous dentist had sold his clinic, I was very lucky to find Dr. Lee. Not only is he a wonderful person, but also a fantastic dentist that uses state of the art technology not seen anywhere else. Needing a crown and replace a filling, Dr. Lee not only advised me on the best course of action, but also backed it up with factual knowledge always keeping me, the patient, central. After I got huge estimate from other dentistry last week, I wished if I could have one dentist among my family members, or at least among my friends to have 2nd opinion. Huge estimate came from total of 4 extracts, 2 implants, 4 crowns and laser deep cleaning for me and my wife. We searched and met Dr. Lee. To make long story short, he saved 3 of molars, and diagnosed that we need 1 extract, 1 implants, deep cleanings and no crown, but fillings. Don't bother visiting Dr. Lee. His assistants are rude and unorganized. Sounds like one of the assurance is a crap head. One day she said my appoint this week,then I called again to confirmed the appointment. Then she said my appointment is in two weeks. I got hesitant with her and told her am making notes of what said. Then the doctor calls me in a couple of hours. He literally said I can't help you? What kind of a dentist says he can't help me without diagnosing me ? I was told that I grind my jaw way too much and might need to get TMJ surgery. What kind of service is that??? Sorry! Dr Lee got me in within hours of my call. I had not been to a dentist in 10 years but was having problems with some old crowns. He works very efficiently and within 3 hours I had x rays, a complete exam, and a brand new crown, which he designed on his computer and printed on his 3 D printer-like machine in his office! No temporary crown, no waiting, just a new perfect crown in one visit. The next day I got the second crown replaced, this time in an hour and a half! Dr Lee called after both visits to see how I was feeling. The second time I told him my crown felt a little rough and he got me in the next morning and smoothed the surface of the crown for me. My husband and I were patients of Dr. Tjan for many years, and when he retired and sold his practice I was semi-hesitant about trying someone new. I've seen Dr. Peter Lee twice in the last two months - once for a filling and a crown, and another time to have 2 crowns re-done - and both visits were outstanding. Simply stated, Dr. Lee is an EXCELLENT dentist who is gentle, proficient and caring. I was impressed not only by him, but also by his office's state of the art dental equipment. Dr. Lee is able to prep and crown a tooth in a single visit. I really appreciated not having to wear a temporary crown for two weeks and then return for another appointment to have the permanent crown installed. I also like that he performs root canals. In the past I had to be referred to a specialist for a root canal, which took a lot of time. It's nice to know that if I need another, he can take care of it in his office. Lastly, Dr. Lee is a genuinely nice person. He actually called my house after both of my appointments to check and see how I was doing. I was really touched by that. I chipped my tooth on a Saturday and needed someone in an emergency. Called Peter, who saw me literally right away outside of his normal business hours, who gave me a crown that very day. If you want to see an honest dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Lee. All his reviews on Yelp are accurate. Very high tech and clean office. I had a broken filling due to a cavity but Dr. Lee wasn't sure if a filling or crown was needed until he started working on it. It turned out only a filling was needed. Dr. Lee was very gentle and I didn't feel any pain. He showed me a hi-re picture of the filling after it was finished and I couldn't even tell a filling was present. Perfect work. Which was way cheaper than crown. I could tell Dr. Lee is very conservative with his treatment and doesn't recommend unnecessary procedures. Very happy I found Dr. Lee. read more

Dr. Lee was able to perform a difficult crown replacement on a cracked crown from a previous dentist. The staff was very friendly and professional. The office has very modern equipment to provide accurate and fast service. Dr. Lee seems to take pride in his work and the results show through. The dental hygienist is also very friendly and great at explaining how to care for your teeth and the reason behind it. I happened to break off the filling of my chipped tooth. It was a Sunday afternoon and I needed to have it fixed for work on Monday. I checked on yelp the dental offices that claimed to be open on a Sunday. Out of all the doctors' offices in the Irvine area, only Dr. Lee picked up. He was able to fit me in for an appointment later that Sunday. I haven't been to the dentist in a couple years and he made my experience a wonderful one. He was able to fix my filling in a timely manner. He also took some X rays and pictures of my teeth just to make sure everything else was ok and gave me additional advice on my oral health. Turns out I need to take out all 4 of my wisdom teeth. Dr. Peter Lee is very caring and compassionate about his patients. My father recently did a full set of dentures at his practice, we are very happy with the service and professionalism Dr. Lee has shown us. My father is having trouble eating due to a not properly fitted pair of dentures. Not eating well, he lost some weight, which got me worried. After telling Dr. Lee of the situation, he identified the root cause of the problematic set of dentures. We start the fitting process immediately to build a new pair for my father. Over the next few weeks, Dr. Lee worked closely with his lab, and seen us numerous time after hours and on weekends to help my father get the new pair of denture at the soonest. My husband and I found Dr. Lee on yelp, we were looking for a dentist closer to where we live. Prior to visiting Dr. Lee we were driving about an hour and a half to see our old dentist, as you can imagine we were getting tired of the drive. Dr. Lee was willing to let us stop by his office after we got off of work. We were seen after we filled out some paper work, the staff was very nice and the office was very welcoming (there is even a dog wandering around!). I had been told by my previous dentist that I needed a crown and deep cleaning on my gums, after checking my teeth and gums, Dr. Lee informed me that I did not need either of those procedures. As you can imagine I was surprised and grateful that I didn't need any work done.
