    Dirty fish tank

We've been in there a few times and it seems like their fish aren't taken care of. It's sad to see

What happened? This store looks like a literal dump. There is product ALL OVER, like it exploded. There are rolling racks all over the store, full of supplies that are blocking several of the aisles. There are random buckets of aquarium rocks in the middle of the aisles. Water has dripped all over the floors, creating puddles. Has a hoarder taken over the store? It's filthy. I'm truly shocked that corporate hasn't stepped in to shut this place down.

    Store Manager, Kare--Olivia!

Get a new store manager. Member since 2019, Rewards member since 2022... Just found out I haven't gotten one benefit promised to me the day I gave them my private information. I wanted an $81 bag of dog food and didn't get a 10% discount on the shelf tag. The nice young lady said it didn't apply. I asked more about the terms and she got her manager. The store manager, Olivia, asked if I was a Vital Rewards Premium member and if I had the app. The app was offloaded on my phone, and tapped to download. I wasn't signed in, and didn't get signed in before she walked back with me to the shelf to say this discount is for "premium" customers. Olivia said the program expired 2 years ago, and they're terminating the program "for some customers," while others may still get benefits. Huh?! Another customer got concerned she wouldn't get her discount. I said I was told by whoever signed me up that's all I had to do to get benefits and every 10th bag of food free. Olivia asked me who said that. I didn't recall the "associate's" name from 2 years ago. I asked when I started. She couldn't tell. I asked if she could change prices. No. I asked for her boss. She said to call customer service. I went to my car to call. The other customer came out and showed me how she was tracking her purchases on the app. Problem was no one told me about the app. She also said she got a $5 price-match discount. What?! Olivia lied. I went to talk to Olivia. I told her she could change prices. She said she can price match, walking back her claim. She asked me to step outside; I did. She policed my frustrated tone, saying I was being rude. I recorded the interaction. Olivia apologized for lying backhandedly, then: Olivia: There was no price difference that could've been given to you that was relevant. Does that make sense? Me: So if I could find a lower price, you would give that to me, correct? Olivia: Yes. Me: [I say she could've bent store policy to fix it, because that's what people do all the time to appease a customer and keep them spending money. Then...] You didn't want to do *anything*-- Olivia: No, I'm so sorry. [In other words, No, I didn't want to do anything for you to make it right.] I can't just give *everybody* price overrides... [as if that's what I was asking.] Me: I'm not everybody [meaning I'm a long time customer who has shopped exclusively at that store for my $80 dog food--it turns out since 2019.] I reiterated how frustrating this whole process was from the time I was a member of the program. Olivia then tries to turn it around on me and say I was being rude: Olivia: And the entire phrasing and tone was very specific *towards me*. [paraphrasing me:] '*You* did this. I gave *you* my phone number. *You* did this. How do you think that comes across, though? Me, while she's still speaking: When I said "you," I'm talking about Petco. Come on. How long have you been in retail, Olivia? Olivia: Does that give you the right to be rude to people? Me: I have a right to be frustrated. Do I not? Olivia: You do not have a right to be rude to people. Me: I'm not being rude Olivia. Olivia: That's questionable. Me: I haven't sworn at you. I haven't done anything. I've asked questions. That's it. Olivia: When my associate pages for help, and looks stressed out and expressed to me that it's a stressful interaction [did this occur? I wasn't upset until Olivia was totally unhelpful], then yeah, when I come up here and then receive that kind of phrasing and verbiage, that's not very kind. Me: What verbiage did I use that was rude and disrespectful? Olivia: The language you used was "you. You did this." Me: I'm saying "you," the collective Petco. Olivia: That's not appropriate. Me: That is appropriate. Olivia: It's not. Me: It is! Man... Dude. Olivia: There is another Petco 10 minutes down... Me: Yeah, I'm not going to Petco ever again, Olivia. Petco [swear word] sucks. I went to my car, called customer service, and explained the situation. She said they can't help. I learned I've been a member since 2019--not 2 years, 5. I asked for her supervisor. She put me on hold. They wanted me to take a call back from the supervisor. I declined. On hold again, looking up the dog food I was going to buy. Found a cheaper price online. Went back inside, still on hold. I waited sitting against a register counter. I showed her the price difference I had found online. She asked me to show her if it was online pricing or in-store pricing. I said something to the effect of, "That's not what the other woman did to get her discount. She just showed the price difference and got the discount." Olivia said I was causing a public disturbance and called the police. I waited for a supervisor for 35 minutes to find they have a 24-48 hour "call back" policy to wear out individual complaints, hoping we give up. Not this time, Petco :) I. WILL. NEVER. SHOP. AT. PETCO. AGAIN. Thanks for reading. If you see Olivia, tell her I said, Great customer service!

Disgusting to say the least, I will never return, they have dead animals, overcrowded animals, disgusting tanks and disgusting water bowls. See all pictures I have included. I couldn't believe the disregard for animal care here.

We hit this place up often. Located in the shopping plaza next to Baskin Robins, Big sport 5, and Ham radio outlet. Our fur children prob eat higher on the hog than we do. They go premium with everything. Cat litter, food, toys, vet supplies, treats etc. They have adoptable cats on site here so give a new few kid a stable forever home. They have rodents and lizards here too. Grooming and Training here for dog people. Ample parking and just around the corner from a decent Thai place. Sign up for their rewards and get coupons in their emails.

We decided to enroll Paco in Sit Means Sit, and we are beyond grateful we did. Matt has been absolutely amazing with Paco. He is patient, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the dogs he works with. He always took the time to answer my questions and made sure I had the right tools and guidance to continue Paco's training at home between sessions. The transformation has been incredible. Paco now comes when called the first time, sits in place, and best of all, walks calmly right next to me. He no longer pulls, jumps, or walks out of control. I'm finally looking forward to taking walks with him and can't wait to continue seeing his progress every day. Huge shoutout and thank you to Paco's amazing trainer, Matt!

He was charging people and dogs while walking ONLY with me. And growling at and even attacked one of our cats, who for reference was his best friend for ages. They'd even sleep together and played a lot. I wanted Miles to get to training before we ended up with him biting someone was my greatest fear. So we picked him up on 4/20 in the morning and went over basics with Brian. Miles was EXHAUSTED for the first few days. Obviously from all that physical AND mental work. But he was immediately different. SO chill. Completely relaxed. By Tuesday of last week (just three FULL days after being home, almost 4,) I was already able to walk him and get Heel, Sit, Down and no reaction to people OR dogs passing with just a 1 tap on the remote. We started with a 3 or 4 the first few days.Miles regularly does GREAT with just this level. We went back on Friday, 4/26 for a session to follow up with Brian. We were VERY pleased with Miles progress as was Brian. We worked on the heel to perfect it and also Tie down, the leash stand and reviewed a few questions. Because Miles was doing so well, Brian suggested that maybe he'd do well with agility work. So he set him up a small course, and put him through it. Well Miles did NOT like it. He LOVED it!!! He had SO much fun. And he was doing AMAZING. He caught on SO fast. So fast rbat Brian sent us specs to build the jumps!! We also worked on high object "place." And Brian gave us lots of tips on that. With it only being 9 days since our pickup and 13 days since he started training, I'd say this was 1000% worth this training. We didn't have a BAD dog but a dog that needed some tweaks and some humans that needed help doing it. Now my husband and I look forward to walks and spending time with and taking him places. And Miles therefore gets MORE time with his people. Ellie, our daughter, LOVES doing "place" and commands with him and Jack, our son, is LOVING agility SO much that he and his dad already started building Miles jumps!!! We aren't very far into this but so far 5 HUGE stars. Thank you Brian!!! Also the office staff has been tremendous. They are responsive and kind and great at following up. 9ur entire experience from consultation to two weeks out is excellent!

We used Tails and Trails 3 times with mixed results. Important to know- you create detailed notes with the owner (Jeff) on how to access your building, routines, where leashes are, etc., etc., when you have your introductory visit. Our instructions ask that the handler only feeds the cats their canned food, nothing else. 1st time, week-long trip (June 2024)- handlers were 2+ hours late regularly. While this wasn't the biggest issue, we don't have a doggie door and that level of lateness pushed the pup's bathroom breaks longer than we're comfortable. But, we liked the service offered and adjusted how often we scheduled handler visits for the second and third visits. 2nd time, 1 week of walks while both of us were gone for longer than 8 hours (September 2024)- Great! Annie (I'm not disclosing employees' full names for their privacy) had no problems and was very helpful. 3rd time, overnight away- 4 visits requested: Sat afternoon and evening; Sun am and afternoon (October 2024)- Day 1- We left the house at 8 am and scheduled feeding/walk visits for about 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Around 1:25 pm, Chloe (office manager) texted me to ask if we had scheduled for 7:00 am that day. When we said we hadn't, a communication between Chloe and a handler led to the 1:00 pm visit being skipped. We talked with Chloe that evening and she said the handler would roll the afternoon and evening visits together, apologized for the miscommunication between herself and the handler, and credited our account for the mistake (all great). The handler arrived around 7:00 pm. They had a difficult time accessing the building so Chloe texted us to say the handler would hang out for a little longer before leaving if they couldn't get access. Once they did get into the building, they couldn't find the food or leash. The access information, food instructions, and where the leashes are were all in the instructions. The handler fed the pets and took the pup for a 15-min potty break. Since we were only gone for a night, we didn't book anyone to stay overnight. We considered cutting the trip short and wish we had. Day 2- Oscar was our handler. We got notifications that both visits were completed and everything seemed to have gone smoothly. When we got home, a glass jar with cat treats had been taken from the closed closet and left open on the counter. When we got home, there were treats all over the counter and SHATTERED GLASS MIXED WITH TREATS all over the floor. All three cats had engorged stomachs. While Chloe apologized and said she'd speak with Oscar the next day, we didn't hear back from Tails and Trails' manager or owner. We'll be anxiously monitoring our furbabies for a few more days.

My aussie got her first heat cycle at 8 months and I was told she was allowed back in a few weeks once her cycle was complete. She was attending day care and training sessions a couple times a week. Unfortunately, I had some other personal matters come up and will be moving so I asked for a refund. They will not offer a refund on services and offered store credit instead. Okay, fine. I scheduled a weekend boarding to use up my remaining credit and I get a text this morning asking if my dog was spayed, if not she was not allowed to return. I understand the need for the policy but I was never made aware and was told previously by a staff member it was not necessary. I am not in a position to get her spayed right now, plus I am moving states next month. They still refuse to offer a refund of nearly $300. That is a good chunk of money that apparently they intend to keep. Doesn't matter that store credit never expires, I will not be able to use it. They made a mistake with lack of employee knowledge on policies and refuse to right their mistake and now stealing my money. This is wrong. I was emailing the owner back and forth and I am disappointed with their handling of this situation. I had my dog groomed and bathed on 2 separate occasions and she came back with mats and not dried properly. Some staff members were very standoffish and unwelcoming at drop off. There is no access to cameras and I was denied access to the facility to see where my precious pup would be. I do not recommend this facility.
