By the next day, their symptoms had become worse. I took them to the veterinarian, where they were diagnosed with Kennel Cough. I contacted Frogs to Dogs to inform them of the situation and was told someone would get back to me. Unfortunately, I have not received a phone call, text, or email addressing my concerns. I understand that kennel cough can sometimes occur even in vaccinated dogs and in boarding environments, but I am disappointed by the lack of communication and follow-up after reporting what happened. The training style used was also based on rewarding Moose with play rather than food or negative reinforcement, which I really appreciate and didn't know much about before. I've parented/known many rescues in the past and never seen anything like the fear she exhibited. fully freaked out, I shot a message to Atlanta Dog Wizard with an SOS to help. Kat quickly got in touch and we had about a 30-min call, which provided me with INVALUABLE insight into my urgent situation. That information she gave me--keep in mind, I had paid no money for her advice or training to this point--gave me some practices I could use, right away, to make Raffi feel more comfortable. I still might officially use Atlanta Dog Wizard in the future, if Kat is any indication how the company does things. She has a passion for rescues and turning around challenging situations and making dogs (and humans) shine. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Bettas deserve clean, appropriate environments and proper care, yet they are often left in tiny containers with little to no enrichment or attention. This is not responsible animal care. PetSmart needs to do better. If a store is going to sell live animals, it has a responsibility to provide humane conditions and proper care while those animals are in its custody. I strongly encourage management to address these conditions immediately and for customers to report animal-welfare concerns rather than ignoring them.

The primary instruction was getting your dog's attention, the commands - sit, down, off, leave it, drop it and loose leash walking. Overall I was pleased with the overall instruction and experience. They did a good job of making sure the dogs didn't invade another dog's space. Homework was sent out each week to work on in sessions with the dog and this helped prepare for the next week's session. Would recommend.

We have the sweetest dog and our family could not be happier with our decision to put our pup into doggie school here!! The grounds are sprawling and beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the value far exceeded my expectations. We paid $995 per week, so about 2K total. Not only is this location far more convenient for us, but the staff has been consistently kind, attentive, and professional from the moment we walked in. Our dog, Simon, is usually the one who tells us how he feels about a boarding facility--his demeanor at drop-off and pickup says everything. He was happy going in and just as happy coming out, which speaks volumes. The team followed his medication regimen exactly as instructed, and when we called to check in during our trip, they immediately knew him by name and offered honest, thoughtful updates about his personality and behavior (he's more of a relaxed observer than an active playmate, which they picked up on right away). To top it off, the bath he received before pickup was excellent, and they even gave him a much-needed trim around his eyes--something we didn't expect but appreciated immensely. We feel genuinely cared for here, and Simon clearly does too. Dunwoody Pet Resort has earned our trust, and we'll be using them until further notice.

Training is fun for the clients as well as fun for the dogs. Anna offers a comprehensive approach to her clients which not only includes training but also nutrition and holistic approaches to things like anxiety. All of Anna's training techniques are 100% positive reinforcement! I continue to work with the clients I've referred so I see firsthand the progress and the transformation in each of her "fur students." Anna has always been a resource for me when I've asked her training questions or a client has asked me a question I can't answer. We called Franck after a year of having some issues with our Beagle related to aggression. It was…read morenever super serious, and since we had some light aggression training in the past, we thought we could handle it on our own. We ended up getting a puppy at the end of 2023 and the aggression issues escalated, sometimes involving the new puppy. We called Franck for the aggression issues and ultimately decided to do full on Level 1 obedience training with him. From the get-go, Franck had complete control of our dogs. During our initial meeting/evaluation, they were complicit in his instructions. It was honestly super impressive - akin to folks you see on TV and how the TV show dramatizes their ability to immediately control an animal. This was the real deal. About a month or so into our training, we had another aggression issue, while it wasn't terribly serious, and we intervened quickly, Franck decided it was best for the dogs to go home with him for a few weeks. We were totally on board - we weren't sure if we had the skills yet to do it ourselves - but we knew he could do it. Within a week we saw a huge change in the dogs in videos he sent us, not only their obedience training, but there was absolutely no aggression with food or otherwise. Franck was also extremely available to answer any questions we had, whenever we had them. That was such a help that we could easily reach out to him whenever we needed assistance. In short, our dogs are impressively obedient now. By far, the best trained dogs I have ever had. Our beagle actually comes to us, when called, with no drama. This dog could not give a crap that we'd call her if she was out in the yard prior to her training. Now, she will come within seconds of us calling her. Both of our dogs are very well potty trained now. Our puppy is a golden retriever, so she has genes that help her with obedience built right in, and she is freaking awesome to work with now, even at just 7 months old. Franck's methods are well researched and backed by a lot of thought and just made sense to us. They're also not difficult - you just need the time and patience to learn and make it happen. Franck is no-nonsense, full of information, has been doing this for a long time, and he was such a pleasure to work with. He was fantastic with both our kids as well as our pups and we couldn't recommend him more!

When we followed Franck's methods she caught on much faster than we did! Franck started training her when she was all of 3 months and 3lbs! I'll admit that I was extremely skeptical at first. I was afraid that using the prong and e-collar would cause aggression, fear, or alter her personality in some way. Let me tell you...it didn't in the slightest! I've only seen her become more trusting and loving. She's basically a Velcro dog at this point. Lol! Getting her properly trained at such a young age was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I can't tell you how many times I've been complimented on how well behaved she is...ESPECIALLY for a toy size breed. I can take her anywhere because she's so well behaved and sweet. She's outgoing and friendly to everyone she meets. She's such a well adjusted pup! More than anything we've gained confidence as dog owners and it's great to know that Rain has a trainer for life should we ever need him. It was a pretty big investment but on the other side of things I consider it money well spent!

I came to Petland in early November to see if they had any Mini Schnauzer puppies, and they did, a…read moremale and a female. I wasn't interested in the male, but I was interested in the female. I asked one of the employees if I could spend some time with the female Mini Schnauzer in one of the many "let's get acquainted" cubicles that they have, and it was fun finding out what type of personality she had. I thought she had a great personality, and loved to play, but her conformation wasn't the best. I thought her head was a little small. While I was with the puppy, the employee brought over documents about the puppy, and I noticed that the puppy's sire was AKC registered, but her dam was APRI registered. I knew that this meant that this puppy was not eligible for AKC registration. Petland wanted $4,850 for her, so I knew this puppy wasn't the one for me. The price was way too much for a non-AKC puppy. She was cute, though. Parking was easy to get in the big and free parking lot that is shared by all of the nearby businesses in this long outdoor strip mall. All of the dogs looked healthy, but there were instances when I thought there were too many dogs sharing the same spaces. The store didn't smell like kennels and it was well lit. It looked like this Petland is more geared toward sales of dog and cats, or more like puppies and kittens. I had seen this store before it went through a big renovation, and there is now a lot of aisle space, but the inventory of food, supplies and toys seems lacking and is nowhere near the higher level that used to be available here.

I…read morecalled multiple times asking if they could manually enter my credit card information because I was pending a new card in the mail as my old card would that tap, swipe, or insert. I was told multiple times that they could. I showed up. Our family found the perfect mini Goldendoodle. Filled out all the paper work and when I went to pay was told they couldn't enter the card manually. Working in IT, I knew that was a lie. I showed them how to do it on the clover Point of Sale system they use. They then told me that the owner wouldn't allow it to happen. I called Mr Hunt, the owner, and explained my situation and what I was told. He told me his employees know better and without saying, called me a liar and scammer. I told him to pull the recordings, but I doubt that will happen. He then offered his stores financial services which are absolutely ridiculous compared to what I currently have. They lost a substantial sale and a customer for life. I'm also aware that these front counter workers make money from sales. I feel bad that the girl helping my family missed out on this commission, but unfortunately the owner prevented that. I could tell she was heart broken. I should have read all of the ratings and took them to heart before driving this way. The only way Mr Hunt keeps this store running is by manipulating people into terrible financial deals.
