I got my 5 month old doberman Chief trained by Frank. I am so happy with my results after 1 month of boarding. I take Chief everywhere I go, with him being very obedient given the fact he is still a pup. Not only is my puppy trained by Frank, but so am I! I highly recommend starlite to all my friends and family. Thank you!

The overall experience was fantastic. My wife and I fostered a dog from our local shelter who was due to be put down in 2 hrs. We couldn't let that happen so we gave him a chance. He was a hand full. Broke out of his crate. Tore up the house on more than one occasion, dragged you down the street if he saw another dog, (he's an 85lb Shepherd Pit mix). I was going to give up when my wife said we should give Franck a try on a recommendation from the shelter. Skeptical, I agreed. Franck, the trainer, showed up and was all business. Kind gentlemen, but with a no-bull attitude. One of the first things he said to us was "you can fire me and I can fire you" meaning if we didn't take the training seriously and did our homework, he would say bye bye. That's how we knew he was the real deal. Not just there to make some money. He actually cared. Franck was never late to a session. He was professional but caring and showed us amazing techniques to help deal with bad behavior and praise for good behavior. After 8 weeks of steady and consistent training, Kratos no longer pulls. He listens to commands with obedience. He goes in his crate without hesitation, he stays in his crate until given the command to exit but he still maintains his amazing personality that we fell in love with. We have 4 dogs. 2 we've had since pups, Kratos who we adopted after the training, and we are currently fostering another pit who was going to be put down the day after we saved him. I've been working on our new foster and within minutes of training Franck showed us, he no longer pulls like a mad man. After a day, he listens to sit, stay, and heel commands and will go into his crate with little resistance. It's miraculous. Lastly, what's awesome about Franck is that he doesn't just collect his money and leave after training, he said to us "I will always be your dog trainer, if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask at any time". I can full heartedly recommend Franck to any person who has a troublesome dog or just needs more obedience. He's an amazing trainer, and I like to think of him as a friend.

We hired Franck to train our four-months-old labradoodle. We liked Franck's approach to the training and his understanding of dog psychology. He is an excellent teacher and communicator - as you can expect, he does not really train your dog; he trains you and you train your dog. The skills you get from Franck will be useful for life. We strongly preferred Franck's philosophy of treat-less training. Our dog's treats are rubbing his chest and patting his back - and these things are always available. Franck is very punctual and always keeps you informed of any delays or if things change. Not to mention that he is pretty funny, too. We are extremely happy with the outcome. We bought the 12-week session for on-leash and off-leash training and our dog passed the final test already after 9 weeks. What's the final test, you might ask? Going to the mall on a busy Saturday morning and shopping and eating there with your dog off-leash. Yes, it can be done. We also get a lot of compliments during our walks about how well trained our dog is. We don't need to use the leash at all and the dog is fully controlled by our voice commands and hand signals. While this training was expensive, at the end of the day we think it was money well spent. We highly recommend Franck and his training!

Franck is awesome. He takes his time to understand the dog's behavior first. We found Franck very clear and straight forward. We have a almost five months old Samoyed. Her behavior and obedience improved tremendously. She could walk off-leash now and we haven't even finished our training yet. Samoyeds are stubborn breeds so we are very happy to find Franck. I would highly suggest him as trainer. Very punctual and professional as well.

Franck is an amazing dog trainer. We had tried other trainers before him but no one had an in-depth understanding of dogs and the patience to work with my puppy like Franck. My Anatolian Shepherd puppy, Rocky, was out of control before him and we didn't even think he was trainable since he had trauma from being bitten by another dog as a puppy. We hired Franck with his off-leash basic obedience package which complete revolutionized our relationship with our pet. He taught him how to behave and respond to commands and even gave us the tools to teach him more things on our own. Rocky is now perfectly obedient and we can communicate with him effectively with just our voice.

Franck is the best!!! I was so impressed with our first meeting. He explained everything so well that I couldn't think of any questions to ask. His philosophy about training and knowledge of animal psychology was spot on. Our dog Coco has a lot of anxiety and Franck was able to tailor our training sessions to help us work through some of that. We did 10 weeks of training (once a week) and met all of our goals. I highly recommend Starlite Dog Training!!

We can now take Moose off leash comfortably knowing she will come when called, sit and stay even in busy environments. I feel like we are happier humans and she is a happier dog thanks to Sam's help. The training style used was also based on rewarding Moose with play rather than food or negative reinforcement, which I really appreciate and didn't know much about before. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. Highly recommend Dog Wizard and Sam!

Probably my highest review ever for a service I haven't used yet. hear me out…read more I just rescued a Rat Terrier puppy called Raffi from Texas, who showed signs of abuse and trauma upon arrival. I've parented/known many rescues in the past and never seen anything like the fear she exhibited. fully freaked out, I shot a message to Atlanta Dog Wizard with an SOS to help. Kat quickly got in touch and we had about a 30-min call, which provided me with INVALUABLE insight into my urgent situation. That information she gave me--keep in mind, I had paid no money for her advice or training to this point--gave me some practices I could use, right away, to make Raffi feel more comfortable. I still might officially use Atlanta Dog Wizard in the future, if Kat is any indication how the company does things. She has a passion for rescues and turning around challenging situations and making dogs (and humans) shine. Cannot recommend highly enough.

***LONG REVIEW BUT WORTH THE READ***…read more This is my sweet, rowdy, rambunctious, and very demanding pup Rhodi! As a first time puppy owner, I just wanted to keep her happy. I let her get away with a lot! I quickly realized that I was not in charge of her but she was in charge of me. What I thought was being sweet was in Rhodi's mind "I can do whatever I want because I won't be punished for it." She would chew any object she could find, bark at me constantly when I wasn't doing what she wanted, would not listen to me when I would call her name, jumped on me and other people, tried to escape out the front door, and peed in the house. I watched videos upon videos but nothing helped! I was doing research on dog trainers and the first thing I thought was "this is so overpriced!" As a young college student with a rowdy dog, I was determined to find the best price with the most qualified trainer and I did! Bark Busters and specifically Cody are the best thing I could have done for both me and Rhodi. I was really nervous about having someone in my home "telling" me how to train my dog, but Cody TAUGHT me. If there was something I was struggling with, like leash training, he showed me an alternative way for me to get her to listen to me. The thought in my mind was "wow, he's not making me do it this way because it's the right way, but he found me a way that was Rhodi's right way I could do confidently." Cody was validating my feelings about not wanting to hurt Rhodi's feelings and continued to talk to me about ways that would not harm my dog or hurt her feelings. Simply being able to "talk" to Rhodi in a way she could understand that I was in charge and that she would still be safe and okay was the goal. In a matter of 2 hours Rhodi was trained! Cody did his job and now it's my turn to do mine with her by following through with the keys to success only Cody could have given to me.

I was nervous about having to train two dogs with different needs, and at different life stages. Cody was amazing. He took the time to understand the different need for both dogs and made improvements that day. Chunk was awful on the leash and would chase anything that moved. The investment in Bark Busters is well worth it for any dog owner. If you're in the Atlanta area Cody is the trainer I recommend. Beyond being great with the dogs he makes you as the owner feel comfortable. He gives you the right techniques and confidence that change and obedience is possible. Cody's open and makes it clear that he is available from here on out if there is anything that I need. Was very nervous about having someone in my home and training my dogs. This was the best decision I could make for me and the boys!

You know those people who ran out and got dogs during COVID because they were working from home and…read morecould spend so much time with them? Yeah, we got two of them. First a puppy, and then when he was 9 months old a second rescue dog who was about 2.5. We had (naïve) dreams of the dogs cuddling for naps and playing quietly together out back as we WFH. The reality was far more frightening. The two dogs fought (and by this, I mean actual angry dog fights, it was scary) if a new toy was introduced, if food was accidentally dropped or if we would pet one but not the other. They barked incessantly at every delivery person, runner/walker, dog and cat on our street. We were at our wits end with 3 young kids and two dogs that were out of control. That's when I reached out to Shavon (goes by "Blue"). After reading other reviews, I decided if he couldn't help us, no one could. He changed it all. He recommended an 8-week at-home training. Plus, he took our 2.5 year old dog for a more intense 10-day training at his house, but brought her back periodically to continue to train the two dogs together. The dogs transformed. Actually, Blue transformed my husband and I as we were the real issue. His experience as a trainer was on full display and through his guidance we learned essential new skills including how to properly walk dogs, give authoritative commands, correct them when they pull, bark or growl and generally take control of our pups. We learned to read their body language and cues to avert aggression before it happens. Blue showed us how to set limits and boundaries so the dogs fit into our life, rather than letting our life revolve around the dogs. We completed all our training and are amazed at the results. We now have two well behaved dogs that listen, obey and quietly co-exist as we WFH. If you want the best results, training with Blue is certainly an investment of your time, patience, ego and money but it is well worth it to have dogs who make life joyful and fun (not stressful and chatoic). We hope to have these pups for the next 12+ years and believe the effort and money we spent on training will serve us well for years to come. Call Blue today, you won't regret it!!!

Then in May of 2021, he relented, and we began the hunt for a dog. We found Maggie in the animal shelter. She and her sister were COVID puppies who had been surrendered. We were told Maggie didn't get along with other dogs, had heart worms, aggressive towards people, and food aggressive, but I loved her at first sight, and I adopted believing I could change her. We worked out the food aggression and got her use to being around our dogs. The heart worm treatment was successful. Maggie and I were meant for each other, but.... Maggie was aggressive towards other people, animals, and sometimes our other dogs. She would go after my son-in-law whenever he came to town, and as much as I love dogs, people always come first. Dog trainers said I needed someone that dealt with fear aggressive dogs. That when I was referred to Lorenzo's Dog Training. Blue became our trainer. It was hard letting Maggie leave home for a month because she is my support for my PTSD and helps calms me down. However, I saw Maggie transform each week. She became even more loving as she became less afraid and trusted us to keep her safe. Blue was working magic with her. As he trained us to work with her, I was able to walk with her an not worry about falling over. Maggie stopped barking at every noise. She is much calmer and follows commands most times (we are still in at home training, but will get there). Blue is an amazing trainer, and I feel blessed that he came into Maggie's and my life. I saved her life, she saved mine, and Blue has saved us both. Thank you Blue!
