His fur had gotten matted in a few areas but Jess took good care of him. She took the time to ask us how we wanted his hair cut after I told her about my experience at a pet store groomer. They shaved Rocket down too short and I didn't like how he looked. Jess took out her clippers and shaved a small section on Rocket to show us three different lengths. It's much easier to see it this way compared to a board of fake fur squares at the pet store. Jess was done with Rocket in an hour and twenty minutes so he didn't need to be trapped in a cage before or after while waiting his turn. Only one dog family at a time here means your dog gets the attention he or she needs! I will definitely bring Rocket back to Jess and recommend anyone who needs a groomer to take your fur baby here!

I wish there was option of giving negative stars We booked appointment 1 month ago and on the same day she charged my card. On 22nd we went there.. dropped our exclusive adorable Maltese pup, as she won't allow us come inside we gave her our pup with it's bag on door itself. As mentioned on her website also she confirmed it would take 1.5hr approx but to our surprise she called back in 50 minutes saying dog is ready to be picked. On our arrival she came out and handed over pup in its carry bag saying all set. We took pup out in the car and were shocked as she has not given him bath, brushed teeth or clean ears.. His hairs were still coming off in my hands. Eyes were dirty and face had tear stains all over, as is, and face hairs not trimmed. The body hair cut were uneven. Some places the scalp is visible (see pics) . Now my pup looks are weird and we feel sorry to pick this groomer. It would take atleast 3-4 months to get back his hairs and looks. To be honest either she is unskilled or doesn't know how to handle the job and groom Maltese. On our morning walks people who had been praising him until we visited this place and now they are asking what happened to his silky white fur.. I would never ever take my boy there... Neither suggest anyone to do so even if the services are free.

Regardless of what's going on in the facility whether it be an emergency occurring, or someone is on the phone, there is always someone there that makes you and your pet feel welcome. Besides great service, skill, and having a great team, this hospital gives back to the community. The hospital works with rescue groups and attends fun community events. That's way more than I would expect from a vet group, and that's why I use this place; it's truly great!

My poodle Nutmeg was a behavioral horror at the vet's office and during grooming appointments-- so much so that a groomer we used prior to Janet refused our business! My ten-pound dog, so good-natured at home, required three vet techs to be weighed at the vet office! Janet proved to be a wonder, though. She invited us into her mobile grooming truck on her first visit to observe her grooming practices. From that first visit, she proved herself to be incredibly patient, empathetic, and most importantly, highly skilled in ways to manage animal behavior. After observing her interactions with my pet, I felt confident that she would ensure my dog was safe, calm, and well-groomed. As I write this review, Nutmeg has recently passed away. Upon learning of Nutmeg's passing, Janet drove out of her way to deliver flowers to my home. Clearly, she develops close connections with her clients and treats them like family! From beginning to end, working with Janet was a pleasure. I'll miss seeing her every few months for grooming appointments!

Saw Dr. Weltner because Green Brook Animal Hospital was on the list of "free" wellness check-ups…read moreafter getting our dog through Shake A Paw...although the exam was "free," and our puppy was healthy, the vet recommended heartworm and Nexgard medication totaling almost $150...when asked if this would be covered by pet insurance, as we were planning on enrolling in a plan, the vet said "no." We found out a few weeks later that not only were these medications fully covered, that Dr. Weltner was listed on the Nationwide Pet insurance network! When we finally got coverage and called back later to get a refund on the money spent, they said that meds were non-refundable! We knew any "free" check-up was probably nothing special, and probably a way to get customers in the door, but didn't think we would be hard sold on anything, but they probably wanted to squeeze some $ out of us since they knew that most people whom take advantage of this "free" check-up don't come back, hence saying anything to push the deal through...the right thing to say is "I can't say what pet insurances cover or don't cover, and you should call them for specific coverage details,"...in which case we would have waited to purchase the medication a few weeks later after we signed up for pet insurance. We of course decided to take our dog to another more reputable veterinary practice, whom had a much more modernized computer system (Green Brook AH had hand-written paper receipts), and were familiar with insurance billing & submissions. Don't waste your time with the "free" wellness exam, pick a great vet through word of mouth, and start with them from the beginning!

We can disagree on the medical stuff but those comments should never have been made. Additionally, you should not call upset when a review is not to your liking. Especially when someone is grieving. He tried several treatments over many weeks and it wasn't working, then he had the audacity to tell me what was happening in my home with my pet when he was not there to witness it!! He was convinced my fur baby was getting at the wound when I told him I had the cone on most of the time, and the times when the cone was off, I was watching to make sure. And he insisted I was wrong several times! Never, ever stepping into that place again! And don't spend me reminders for check ups or shots!
