She books up super quick so if you are wanting to try Barktown, make sure to book an appointment online! Front desk ladies are also so kind and helpful and I didn't want to forget to acknowledge how kind everyone is at Barktown Willoughby. Ashley also will leave bows, bandanas, etc. on your pup to make them look stylish. She really has perfected her art of grooming. Barktown also hosts some very fun events throughout the year such as 'Willo Woof' and pictures with Santa! It's just as fun for the adults as well as the pups! I will forever take my Emmy here for her grooms! Shopping is also open inside with lots of goodies! They have everything your dog could need. Toys, cookies, food, water dishes, chew toys, clothes, leashes, etc. I love coming here for her gifts as well as shopping for other friend's doggies.

My husky had a rough time and the end result was way less than an average grooming job. The price tag was more than double of what we were quoted when making the appointment. Communication during scheduling was difficult and confusing. Tammy, the owner was abrupt and basically laid out a laundry list of things we needed to do. Including medicating my dog if we choose to use this place again. She also mentioned using a muzzle too. I understand not all dogs are going to take well during a grooming session. I felt as if they had no idea how to handle an anxious dog. My husky developed skin hot spots shortly after. Also, his behavior regressed too. It took a trip to the vet and a lot of patience to help get my Husky readjusted back to his normal routine and behavior. I will not be going back. My experience was a total disappointment.

To be honest, I…read moreexpected her to fail to clip Luna's nails and so that I didn't waste her time and my money I intended to have her clip Bella's who is a very friendly and laid-back cat. Luna is older and no one knows what her life was like but she's very anxious and I will never be able to get her to a vet. She doesn't let me hold her or pick her up. I hoped to have her calm when Heather arrived. But Bella would have none of that and chased her from the bed just before she got here. Heather managed to corral her (nothing short of a miracle) and clip her nails in no time. I can't wait to tell my son about this experience. He encourages me to spend money on things I want but told me he doesn't like to see me 'throw it away' and that's what he thought I was doing today. Heather is the cat-whisperer...I promise.
