The place was a mess and smelled terrible when we arrived. When we picked him up he was shaved! They claimed his hair was too matted but we have had him groomed elsewhere many times when he was a lot worse and they cut him short but never shaved him. He didn't look like the same dog. They made excuses for everything including why they didn't pluck his ears. We will never go back and do not recommend this to anyone. Plus they charged extra! They took the easy way out of just shaving him and charged a $20 premium. Never again!

I didn't want him to be stressed or stay somewhere longer than he needed to. Petworks took him for 2 hours a week before our wedding to make sure he was comfortable with the place. The Friday before our wedding I dropped him off & confirmed we were able to pick him up Sunday evening. All the other places we looked at would not allow us to pick up our dog on Sunday we'd have to wait till Monday & pay for the extra day. Being able to pick up our dog when we wanted to was wonderful & they took such good care of him. For the price and the wonderful service you simply cannot best this place! She was late and had an attitude from the minute getting out of her car. I figured give her a break, you don't know why or what started her morning off wrong. When we came back to get our dogs, the girl said they had to charge more because our dogs were bad! What??? Four years never a peep now this surprise? At first she was ok until I questioned the up charge and my dogs behavior and why? She said she didn't have help with larger dogs. She got defensive and true colors came out. You're going to talk to a paying customer that way? I can't imagine what the dogs go through after we drop them off. The call ended with her stating she didn't want to do my dogs and hung up on me! Staff proceeded to reassure me that they work with dogs with anxiety and other conditions so it should not be a problem. I went in and stayed for almost an hour having my dog accessed and going over medication, drop and pick up times ect. A couple of days before my family was getting ready to leave for our easter weekend vacation i get a call from a "manager" saying that they could not board my dog due to behavioral issues and I was going to have to find somewhere else!! Mind you the staff had already approved my pet and sent my husband and I a confirmation email. Apparently there is no communication amongst staff. This is a mom and pop so there are no real strict rules or guidelines, they do as they please. The manger said she did not like what she read in the notes about my dog. This person was not even the one that accessed my animal. It was awful. I had to find boarding for my dog for easter weekend two days before my flight. I almost had to cancel my trip because of the unprofessional, untrust worthy actions of this place. The staff was very rude to me when i called for further explanation. Everything the prior staff member had reassured me was not going to be a problem about my dogs anxiety all of a sudden was. It was awful. I am glad i did not leave my dog here, and they showed their true colors before i actually trusted them with my furry family member. Very unprofessional and disorganized! And if your pet has any kind of special needs do not trust them. New comers be ware! Even if they confirm your stay it is not solid! They cancelled my reservation even after passing the assessment and receiving confirmation documention! I travel often and board my dog as needed, and I have to say this is the absolute worse experience ive had with any pet needs associates in the Cleveland area and surrounding counties.
