Visited for the first time December 2021. They left a deep cut on our puppy's armpit and didn't let us know. 1/5 for lack of integrity read more

Pretty Coat Junction - Cut on our dog's armpit - Pet Groomers Near Me - Lakewood, Ohio

I would recommend Pretty Coat Junction for nail trim for both dogs and cats. Dawn does a great job and my cat sat on her lap like they were best friends for her trim. About a week ago she trimmed my dog's nails and she was so gentle with my old dog. Can't beat her prices. read more

I absolutely loved taking my cat, Joey here for nail trims. Highly recommend if you need a walk in trim. The owner is very sweet and efficient, reasonably priced too. I unfortunately moved away and will never find a place as great as the pretty coat junction! read more

Dawn is amazing and so good with my dog Olli! He loves her! Have been going there since it opened and you couldn't have a more caring person. She does and excellent job and he looks so handsome and perfect every time!! read more

Outstanding service! They were so friendly and so patient with my 13 year old Cocker Spaniel who doesn't particularly care for her grooming experience! She received the best cut that she's ever received! No shaving marks, no nips. Plus, my dog was so very calm when I picked her up; that really spoke volumes about how carefully they had cared for her. I will never take my dog anywhere else to be groomed but here! Keep up the great work! I'm telling everyone that I know about your great shop! read more

Under new management. Best haircut our dog has ever gotten and the price was great as well. Will be recommending them to everyone.

AVOID this business like the plague, unless you don't care about your animals or their well-being. I took my dog here when he was a puppy because I couldn't afford much and their prices were within range. 1st visit: I pick him up, get him in the car and there's blood all over me. They clipped two of his nails waaaaay too short. Had to bring him back in for them to stop the bleeding. 2nd and LAST visit: Pick him up and take him to PetSmart. While in the store, he starts getting diarrhea all over the store aisles. I hurriedly take him in the car to get him home and he is pooping all over my backseat. But the smell wasn't of bowels, it was a chemical-type smell. I called Prettycoat Junction and left them a message to call me right away. When they finally returned the call several hours of him being sick later, I asked if he'd gotten into anything while there: shampoo, flea remover, etc. They denied anything. They wouldn't admit that perhaps he wasn't caged the whole time and wasn't monitored. All I know is he was fine when I brought him in there and in a veterinarian's office two hours later. Who paid the bill? Me of course. I go to the Lakewood Dog Park and let everyone there know that this place should be avoided. Head east down Madison Ave to Waggs 'n Whiskers and ask for Jamie. She's EXTREMELY reasonable with prices and always grooms our three dogs perfectly. Nothing speaks louder of Waggs 'n Whiskers' service than this: When we walk through their door, our dogs run in. AVOID PRETTYCOAT JUNCTION! read more

I took my cat here for a grooming. My girlfriend made the appointment 2 days before...the woman she spoke with said it would be $40-45. I came back 25 minutes later to find a very badly trimmed cat. It was choppy, some spots were not done, and my cat was traumatized. When she rung me up it was suddenly $60. I have a feeling they pull numbers out of the air. Definitely not worth it, not for half the price. read more

Needed to get my dogs nails clipped. Was able to walk in and was helped right away. The gentleman made the experience quick and easy. Service was great and price was reasonable. read more

My dog was groomed at Pretty Coat Junction today for the first time, and she did an amazing job. Dawn was able to get him in pretty quickly, and the price was very affordable especially given all was included - full hair cut, teeth cleaning, anal glands, oatmeal shampoo, and nail trimming. She only grooms one dog at a time, which I really appreciate because it's less stress on my dog. He was done in 1.5 hours and looks very spiffy :) Highly recommend! read more

Service requested: Bath and Lion shave cut. Cat Sometimes I am a bit weary of going to new groomers. But decided to finally try something new closer and cheaper to my home. Chris and her staff are awesome. Fast in and out, within 1 1/2- 2 hours as quoted. I'm used to my cat being gone for up to five hours. She was bathed and shaved beautifully. And the best is their prices. Very trustworthy and I highly recommend. read more

Love Dawn. She does a wonderful job! You will not be disappointed with her work. My dog Brodie loves her, too! read more

After Dawn sold the business, it's gone downhill. There's a young blonde woman (at the time she was pregnant) and she was so rude and my dogs didn't like her either. My boys went in happy...they love getting groomed. They came out stressed, cuts, and had some matted hair still. It's clear they do not know how to groom a schnauzer. Not worth the price. read more

Back under original ownership, Dawn (owner) is wonderful to work with. Easy to make appointment, very friendly and accommodating. Catered to both me & my pup. Provided full service at a very affordable price. Highly recommend giving it a try! read more

They always treat me and my pooch well here. I like to support small businesses, especially these days so I highly recommend checking them out if your pet needs grooming. The one downside is Parking can be tricky as there is no parking lot. read more

So I took my cat to Pretty Coat Junction. Firstly, the lion cut they did was AWFUL and they overcharged me. I wasn't going to write a bad review until I noticed that they cut my cat's whiskers. Not just a trim either. One side is now less than an inch long. The other side is also short and completely uneven. My poor kitty!!! :( Are these people high? DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!! Read the link below to see why it is so bad to cut a cat's whiskers: http://www.petmd.com/cat/behavior/evr_ct_why_do_cats_have_whiskers read more

I am so grateful to find this business the girls are super great they have patience like angels and you can't beat the price. I just want to tell you about my first experience getting my Phylis an undercut at Lakewood Ohio's pretty coat junctions pet groomers. I was so happy not only with their professionalism, "but also" the way they treated my cat. everything I asked of them was accomplished. I left Pretty coat a very happy client. I really was very pleased with the entire staff. I felt as though I was going there for years ,and definitely will continue to bring my pets here for their grooming and will recommend their services to my friends and family. I also would like to add how fair the prices are and am amazed to learn how their heart goes out to those that are financially hurting. Thank you for a job "well" done Coleen, Christine & Larry. Sincerely, Susan Potting. read more

This company has been doing a lousy business. They are very unprofessional. I have taken my dog there for an a early appointment. my dog was there all day and when they called me to come get them they called me 10 minutes before they left and wanted me to pick her up at that second. I do not live near the location and I was late picking my dog and they charged me for picking her up late. Than my grandfather dropped off their dog their for a wash and cut. The dogs face was dirty and when they called the house my grandparents does not understand much english and when we explained that to them. Than the owner said she should not answer the phone than. Very Rude and UnProfessional. We will not going back. read more

not too sure about this grooming service, i have been a few times and go because it is close to my house. my pet spends several hours there (not sure why??) when i call ahead for a time to come in. way too much time for a pet to be away from home for a haircut. never the same cut twice sadly. for the money i think you could get better treatment elsewhere. read more

I love Pretty Coat Junction. They are good with their appointments and treat the dogs very well. I've taken my Airedale Terriers there many times and I am always happy with the results. They have nice things to say about the dogs when I return to pick them up. And they are a good value compared to other groomers. read more
