My favorite pet store. The staff is wonderful. The inventory is extensive (over the years our family has had a broad spectrum of pets!) The prices are great. You can bring your pet with you to help select new toys, and they keep a treat at the register for them. For a discount on your first order you can, you can sign up for their newsletter. Today, I ordered on line and they brought the order out to the car.... So easy since i had ordered several heavy items. They are also offering free delivery for orders than $35. read more

Like it, love it! Cheap pet treats and toys. I get my dog's food somewhere else, because they don't carry the brand he eats. With everything else, they have hands down the best prices. This store is huge. They cover pet needs for most animals: dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles (not sure the limits on this one). When I shop, I like to compare. Here, because it is so large, there's space enough for top of the line items as well as true discount products. Sometimes it matters and sometimes, it really doesn't....a toy my dog will destroy in two days does not need to be more than $10. Quality dog food, now that's where we splurge. read more

I went in Friday the 23rd and I think the manager helped me.... I asked if I was missing where my dog food was and he informed me that they stopped carrying it. I told him I would just look for treats then. He came back to where I was in the store and offered to help me find another dog food for my dog. He gave me great advice about switching and my dogs stomach issues. He told me all about pumpkin and even helped me out with that too! Great customer service! My body doesn't take well to fur babies so I got a fishy baby named Tito. He needed some accessories and food today so I jumped on Yelp and found this location of Pet Supplies just up the road from me. It was easy to get to and there was plenty of parking. I walked in and was greeted right away by the staff at the registers. It was easy to find the fish department so I browsed for a while before picking out a nice plant for Tito. They had a good bit of options plant wise, but nothing I've never seen before. Everything was reasonably priced and seemed clean, except for the average dead fish floating around but honestly that's normal. Once I had a plant picked out someone was there to help bag it up for me. The cashier was delightful and we joked about credit card machines always being a pain in the butt. I'll be back when I'm in need of something urgent for Tito but I am going to explore some stores that specialize more in fish. Mainly because I know the selection will be better. read more

Pet Supplies Plus must do great business given location, location and location to the Upper Arlington neighborhoods. Entering a consumer must be blown away by selection, especially in pet foods. Just a huge offering in aisle after aisle. PSP's animal and fish selections are minimal. I was there to try and find driftwood, spiderwood and rocks for terrariums. I struck out but I gotta state for the record one of the employees went out of her way to show me their inventory. The level of sales service seemed very high and that's unusual nowadays given online buying. A-OK for Pet Supplies Plus is a solid plug for a business. I didn't buy a darn thing but sales/service is good. Try it out. read more

Update: This location is absolutely incredible! Today I had to get a lot of supplies to home an abused and neglected stray cat. I have two cats of my own so I needed a cage; something big enough to house a cat with all its basic necessities as well as play space. I'm not sure if he was the manager or not, but when I was explaining my situation, obviously in distress, he knocked off about $50 off my total fee. I bought a large size dog crate (the one that holds up to 90lbs), a feeding bowl, a water bowl, a small litter pan, and two toys. The cage alone was $130 and my *total* was $140! The best service I've ever had! This location truly cares about animal welfare and now my poor stray kitty is sleeping warm and cozy in her temporary home. I've also brought in two fish that weren't getting along in my tank and one of their amazing employees actually took them home! He updated me today and said they're doing great! I love this location and their staff. They should be recognized! I'd recommend this place to anyone! read more

I'm not sure if this is the only location in Columbus, it's the only one I've seen or been to. I actually forgot about it being here until I had to buy my hedgehogs some food and Walmart didn't have anything that Your Highness's would touch with a Hedgie toe. I seriously need to stop patronizing that monopoly anyways. But I digress. The Pet Supplies Store was as I remembered it. Kind of cozy feeling, like the pet supplies store version of Trader Joes. The check out lines are set up similarly. I like that when I came here I was looking for three different types of premium cat food and every single one was here a few were even on sale( you need a in store card to get the sale price like at most every store now) So although I did want to cry at the total ( these hedgehogs better appreciate this. They eat better than my cat does!) the total was at least marginally less heart attack inducing. I like that they have some cool small animals available here as well as a section for fish. I didn't check to see if they had both saltwater and fresh though. I will check that out next time read more

She was a free, rescued bun with soft brown eyes and gentle demeanor that is the love of my life. They carry tropical fish to ferrets. Fat little hamsters to slimy crawly things. Staff are helpful and managers knowledgeable. Dog coats, sweaters and all manner of dog food n treats. Wellness, Merrick, Nutro and more. There are brands of food here that you won't find in conventional pet stores. We need to think about what we feed our best buds, research appropriate brands and know what we're feeding them. Also know where the ingrdients are sourced from. The staff here can help with that. The prices are resonable when compared with other pet stores and there are several locations around the city. You can find supplies for dogs, cats, rodents, ferrets, rabbits, fish, etc... Cages, crates, leashes, collars, i.d. tags, toys, chews and bath supplies even for rabbits and ferrets! Phew, I think I covered just about everything! So, great prices, several locations, supplies aplenty and a knowledgable, caring staff, what's not to love :) And buffalo chews, can't forget them! This is a great store. They always have what I need and prices are excellent with their member card. I have used their vet visit service for microchipping and the price was better than I had paid previously at other places. The vet staff were great with the animals. The retail staff usually can direct me and are knowledgeable about stock. They have special ordered stuff I needed although it took quite a while. The manager has also made food or toy donations for local cat shelter as long as I made the request in the time allowed. I go there all the time. New dog = obsessive compulsive buying of dog treats, toys etc. Oh and guess what there is a place where others like me gather, huzzah! We adopted a Bulldog/Pitbull mix named Leo from Open Arms rescue (shout out), and needed to get him all checked out. On the weekends they have a mobile vet clinic, get there early as the place gets crowded. The best part of waiting in line is petting all of the other lovely creatures. That is besides the point, cheap treats, great selection of collars, leashes and clothes. We got a rad pet fountain that mimics a stream of running water for $16! Customer service could use a little work, the checkout peeps are just a tad grumpy. read more
