I've always loved Pet Supplies Plus. I usually go to the Yorba Linda location, but overall their service has been consistently great. They have a good selection of products and very attractive discounts. I especially enjoy washing my dog there. The shampoos they provide smell amazing, and they offer multiple options, which means I don't have to bring or purchase my own. The only downside for me is the time limitation at the self-wash stations. I have a French Bulldog, and because of their sensitive skin and tendency toward allergies, it's very important that they are completely dried after bathing. If their skin stays damp for too long, it can cause problems. Sometimes the time restriction makes it a bit challenging to properly dry my dog. read more

I've been a loyal customer since they opened. Every week they post a coupon on their Instagram page for some sort of a sale. They typically post it on Friday and it's good through that Sunday. Every week is something different, sometimes it for dog and cat treats sometimes toys or collars. And more times then not they either don't honor the coupon or they end up charging me wrong and I don't realize it till I get home. This past week the sale was for $10 off $40 or more dry cat food or dry dog food. Ok great so I went in to purchase my dogs dry dog food and was told that they were treats! TREATS!!! HAHAHA the bag says DOG FOOD but the girl said they were treats and couldn't honor the coupon. This is the last time I will give this store my business, I'm so tired of their games. They sell my dog's food on Amazon for a few bucks cheaper anyways. read more

We have been shopping at this store since it opened we had a very bad experience with Joe the manager he talked about how people had bills to pay and when asked for his last name he told us it was none of our business all we wanted was an exchange on the same dog food but my husband bought the wrong flavor they don't have the policy on the receipt they said the return policy was located on the website and then said it's not this man Joe is very unprofessional and needs to do better at customer service and not bring up bills the store has to pay that's not my concern . He tried to offer us a 50 percent exchange because the bag was opened we bought it 8/15 and tried to return it 8/16 . I recently moved to the San Bernardino area from the Long Beach and OC areas where I started giving my dog a bath at the locations there. I have a prepaid self wash card and unfortunately, this location is the closest to my new place now. But after reading about this store being franchised, my recent visit now makes complete sense! First off, their customer service isn't the greatest. But man, their self wash situation is HORRID. Horrible set up, rules don't really make sense, AND they use the shampoo machines that premix with the hose attached as the water runs, no water pressure, no temperature control and just bad all around. First bath my dog has gotten at a Pet Supplies Plus where he didn't even smell good after, had to scrub him multiple times with the only thing they do provide, rubber brushes, and still, to no avail on some good scent. They provide no cotton balls to protect their ears from water, yet they don't allow dogs "larger than 35 lbs" in their lifted tub for "liability issues"... ummmm?? I groomed and also managed a pet supply store with self wash for YEARS. Walking back there and seeing the tub they want customers to use for "larger" dogs really surprised me. It is SO LOW, you basically have no choice but to get your feet soaked lol ridiculous. And since when are bigger dogs not able to be bathed in a lifted tub? So it's not a liability to have water go in dogs ears because they don't provide cotton balls or for customers to hurt their backs on a low ass tub, but a dog over 35 pounds in a lifted tub is? Mind blown! And these 2 tubs are in a tiny cublicle-like room, they are able to shut your water off and dryers off if you go over their "30 min. time limit".. they shut my dryer off before I could get my pup dried. Never coming back to this location. I'd rather drive an extra 10 miles to the Yorba Linda location where they actually have their self wash set up to the company's standards. Seems like this owner is trying to save themselves some money with their cheaper options of tubs, shampoo access to customers and providing close to no bath supplies, but the quality of "self wash" service customers get from this is really terrible. How can they not have their self wash to par with all pet supplies plus stores yet still charge $14 for this minimal SELF wash service. Horrible experience, never again. Oh and to add on to it, I needed to use the restroom with my dogs in hand when I arrived, and they recommended me to go to sprouts to use theirs, which doesn't allow animals because it's a grocery store.. so they made an "exception " to use one of their TWO in store restrooms. Basically, they close their restrooms to paying customers for whatever reason and force them to walk next door to use the one at the grocery store. I wonder if sprouts is well aware of this. Ridiculous franchise!! If you're looking for a decent self wash, THIS AINT IT! Keep looking or drive a little further. read more

At first, I enjoyed taking my dog to this store to bathe her! I have a Disability in my lower back, so I needed access to an elevated bath tub to wash my dog. I was told by the staff that my Disability would be accommodated. I went in on Sat. Oct. 25th to wash my dog again and was told by staff and the manager Cristina that due to an incident that occurred in the dog washing room with a separate client the week before that SHE CANNOT ACCOMMODATE MY DISABILITY! I thought the Manager Cristina would be reasonable as I had no part in what occured the week before with some other client! I explained politely that I cannot bend down to wash my dog and that I need an elevated bathing tub and that the prior times I had visited I was reassured by all staff that was working on those days that MY DISABILITY WILL BE ACCOMMODATED!! The manager Cristine was very insisting on her decision NOT TO ACCOMADATE! I asked for a refund and told her I will not be returning and she said that's fine! Heck they won't even allow you to use their restroom even though its against California Law for a large business with customers to refuse a restroom! People go somewhere else where the Manager is pleasant and accommodating to thier repetitive customers. My friend also, had an issue with the manager Cristina a few weeks back on different matter! Stay away from this store and its Manager as they will not accommodate Disabilities and physically show you they don't care, and don't ask to use their restroom they will make you go next door! read more

BUYER BEWARE! Long story short a heat bulb I bought here just a few days ago stopped working. I went to unscrew it and the whole bulb busted. This is now the second time one of their bulbs has shorted out on me. When I came to the store to return the gentleman said that it's store policy not to take anything broken. Look I get it... but these bulbs are expensive. And it's not my fault the bulb decided to break after gently turning it to take it out. Wasn't helpful at all. read more

I used to like the store but their pick up policies for orders now are out of hand if it's only one person ordering and picking up in your house hold. Your ID of the person on the rewards account is needed and also the credit card used. No guests allowed even though I used to be able to notify beforehand and it was ok during the call. Now also if it's my roommate's turn ordering food he also has to pick up as I don't have access to his card but I need to go too since it's my name on the rewards account. I have had my pet supplies account since 2017 and they're convinced I'm going to commit credit card theft or something for the same dog food I buy every 2 weeks. Now that Petco has Orijen it's really hard not switching with how much trouble it is to pick up a order now. Store is nice and friendly otherwise usually.
