This is my go to store for my scale-babies' food needs. They're quick, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Although I haven't actually purchased any reptiles here (yet), as I already have plenty, I have chit chatted with the staff and they do know their animals and they take great care of them. They even know each individual personalities. I am always tempted to take another scale baby home from here, but I digress. I have too many. For those who are looking for more from this review, If you're looking for feeders, they have Mealworms, Giant mealworms, Superworms, Crickets of all sizes, Silkworms, Wax worms and Hornworms and even Black Soldier Fly larva, Feeder mice and rats, dubias and Madagascar hissing roaches although some of these feeders are subject to conditions across the country, supply and demand and everything else in between. If you have a question, just ask, they're friendly and nice. Strike up a convo, you'll learn something new and you might even find yourself making this your staple go to place for your own animals' feeder needs. Forgot to mention, they also have a wide array of reptiles: they've got a breeding colony of Leopard Geckos, Green keel Bellied Lizards, Lacertas, Ackie monitors, Cresties, Several species of tortoises, Dart Frogs, boas, corn snakes and I'm probably missing half of their inventory, but you'll just have to go look. read more

Not a giant fancy place but you can find pretty much everything you need for reptile. I have been a long time customer but never have thought to leave a review until I need to check their closing hour the other day for some last minute pick up lol. One of the best reptile stores I've been too. Lots of stock and was the only place that had regular meal worms and I think what my bro calls "mega worms" within a reasonable driving distance. Many scaled friends to look at and I thought it was pretty cute that some of them had names and labels on the tanks, especially the tortoises that were "learning how to flip back over". They also had hamsters and guinea pigs (a hairless one too!). We only got live food, but there's lots of supplies here too and the workers were all super helpful and nice. When my brother's leopard gecko wasn't eating, he got lots of tips and advice that removed all of his worries. Worth the stop if you are a reptile owner or just love cold blooded friends! read more

Be LESS rude, clearly signs are posted for certain reptiles, as a parent and a reptile lover I understand but toddlers can't read so they don't understand what they can and can't do with certain reptiles, didn't get the girls name to point out the person exactly but white girl in the front blackish brownish hair. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff and ten times better than the big chains. They really do specialize in everything reptile. They sell a variety of lizards and snakes and tortoises and reptiles I'd never heard of! It's a small little store. We visit once a week for crickets and it has always been busy no matter what time or day! Still, they work quickly to meet your pet needs. The only complaint is that there hours are so short! I wish they'd open at the latest 10am on the week days! I've had to go to petco twice since they have earlier hours... thankfully it's never a great experience (lots of waiting and no one really knows you're there) so I keep going back to Amazon reptile! They sell all pinkie mice, crickets of ALL sizes and any other reptile food you'd need! Love it here! read more

My daughter and I have spent the past year delving into the strange and sometimes obsessive world of caring for reptiles. Amazon really stands out as a great example of what a reptile store can and should be. Due to it's distance from home, we don't get here very often, but when we do, it's really a treat. When we bought Karma, our Veiled Chameleon, here at the end of last year, not only did the young woman who helped me patiently answer my many questions, but had several for me. When I had initially told her by phone I had a habitat ready, she asked me to bring it to the store so she could see it and confirm it was exactly what my new pet would need. I appreciated getting the confirmation that the set up was good, but also impressed by the fact that they legitimately care about the well being of the animals they sell. It's reflective in the way they care for them at the store. When I have stopped by for feeder crickets and the like, I have always been impressed by the friendliness of the service. It can get busy here too, especially on the weekends. Another thing I loved ( though they don't always seem to do this) was when I was able to buy a perfect-sized ficus plant for my chameleon's habitat. I never see reptile stores selling live plants. Take some time to walk around. Enjoy and learn about the unique animals here. The rhino iguanas are particularly awesome. read more

Came in here 2 months ago and bought my first snake baby python . Really great customer service by the staff they answered all my questions since I was a first time buyer for a "Snake" my kids and I love the ball python great choice for beginners pet . I come here once a week for a mice really affordable to care for bal python snake . I bought two tortoises with enclosures. I went from a small tank to a large tank. I first bought a Herman, and a medium sized tank. I later upgraded to a larger tank and added two caves, and a White Russian tortoise. My buddies were healthy, the staff answered all my questions, and I felt like I left with quality materials.
