ZERO STARS! Shame on…read moreGreen K9 Urbana and how they treat longtime loyal customers. Long story short was helping a friend get her dog to the groomer. They said arrive by 9:30 and they can still do the grooming. Raced said dog there, ran into the building (rolling my ankle on the way IYKYK), and got to the desk at 9:30 on the dot (honestly might have been 9:29 when I walked in the door). Was told sorry the groomer said she can't take her it's 9:30. I said "you told my friend be here by 9:30 so what's the issue?" The front counter person said "It's 9:30 so the groomer can't she's very busy today." I said "well what if it was 9:29 and 59 seconds?" Counter person said "well we aren't an actually keeping a timer?" Yet that's exactly what they were doing. SHAME on this local neighborhood business for treating anyone this way. We personally left Green K9 back when Marni sold it because it's been totally downhill since and this is just another instance. This place is garbage and hopefully they won't last much longer in our town.

I came here today to support a worthy cause. They conducted a fundraiser to help stay in business…read more It a noble endeavor that need support from the communities. They take in abused and mistreated horses from all over the state of Maryland. I can imagine how expensive it can be to feed, provide medical attention, and nurse the horses back to health. They had a fall festival today and it was a great event. The weather cooperated so I brought my daughter out because she loves horses. They had pony rides for the kids with a variety of events and activities to keep the whole family entertained. You couldn't park at the farm be issue they had all the space used for the event. They provided free parking at the elementary school. It was a short walk so I didn't mind walking over. I was tired after a few minutes and I didn't feel like dragging a sleeping 4 year old back three quarters of a mile back to my cat. Luckily they provided a shuttle to transport people back and forth. I encourage everyone to come out and lend your support if you are able.

We've started using the service recently for walks and feedings when we're at work…read more The intake process with Kiira and online was very smooth. It was easy to schedule a "meet and greet" with Amy and Andrew, who are visiting our two dogs (a quiet 9-year old and a 5-year old with attitude; both sighthounds) about 3 times a week. Since then Amy and Andrew have taken care of our pups for the past month or so. They are both responsible and have the kind of calm personality that all dogs feel comfortable being around. They've followed all our instructions, provided very detailed updates and pictures, and taken good care of our doggies. So far I am very pleased with the service. We love our dogs like children and feel good about entrusting Amy and Andrew with their care.

I had ask that they only provide me with one one of their walkers that I had for the first 18 months, at least twice a week if possible. Their final response was " she is rarely available during the times I requested" ... I mean for the first 18 months she was available , and now she was not.... After numerous attempts to remedy this, they decided (Customer Service Agent Becca) to cut me and my dogs loose. I contacted them to give them "NOTICE"; that I would be looking for another service. I am a senior citizen wtih Dystolic Heart Failure. What a way to treat a senior citizen.. Terrible service... And the owner, did nothing, even though on her web page she states "If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with our service, we will correct it right away and offer a money-back guarantee". Charlie has done a COMPLETE 180! Backround on Charlie…read more(Lab/Shepard Mix): Rescued prior to even reaching 8 weeks by Last Chance Animal Rescue out of Waldorf, MD. Charlie was neutered and up for adoption at 8 weeks old. The first time he was able to be adopted, we fell in love. Fast forward to 4 months old, we started to see a significant change in Charlie's behavior for the worse. What used to be what we thought was puppy play, quickly turned into to aggression and stubbornness. Examples include: "NO" not working, aggressive barking, jumping on anyone and everyone, ignoring not working, kenneling just aided in his disobedience, trying to smell everything on walks, terrified of other dogs. One thing Charlie didn't struggle with was his love for people. After talking to multiple different people and reading multiple different things, Charlie was headed down a dark road with his rebellion. Thank goodness we decided to try a Dog Trainer! We were recommended American K9 and are so thankful we were. Charlie is 110% a better dog! In the chance he does something he isn't supposed too, we either say "NO" and he stops or we can choose to put him in timeout, which also works! Without yelling, or getting aggravated. We can also take him on a walk and only hold the leash with 2 fingers, because he does not pull. Charlie had horrible anxiety due to being the "runt" of the pack. Krys went above and beyond helping him with that & being patient. Overall EXTREMELY Satisfied!!!! Very Personal! If you are thinking about a dog trainer I say Krys is the one!! Highly recommend!
