Just puppies purchases them gives them veterinary care and ensures their health to give puppies a better chance...HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING... then maybe all the assumptions and accusations about puppies coming from the mills are true. BUT I don't see how this business is the villain because where there is demand there will eventually be supply. If someone is a breeder full time and they sell puppies and make a living off of it they are somehow better than a business (freestanding store) that does the same? Well, it's true when they say you can never go back. The Hard Times cafe was destroyed and replaced by a bank, and the Just Puppies is a sad, depressing shell of what it once was. You were once able to open up any cage and take out a puppy. They you could walk it over to a small play area and have it run about for a bit. Or if the rooms were filled, you could simply hold the puppy in your arms. Then they locked up all the cages and you needed permission to pick up a puppy. Now, you need to give your photo ID to handle a puppy. The end result is that the puppies are getting petted and handled a lot less often, leaving them whimpering and longing for attention. Add to this the dog pee on the floor around the cages and you're left with a pretty depressing place (and depressing yelp review!). Whatever was once good about this place is long gone. Now it's just a urine-soaked puppy mill.

And if it wasn't intentional then she has no business being a groomer! She claims her ears were matted. They were not matted to the point of needing shaving! I would not recommend her or the groomer Brittany to care for any animal. My dog left with no hair on her ears, she has scars, and I paid double of what I usually pay. I did not receive a refund, but I hope to since I filed a case with corporate HR! My dog didn't even have the groom smell! I'm devastated! I had 9 previous grooms at this location with another groomer (Jade) who no longer works there. She was awesome. This has never happened before and my puppy is only 11 months old! Kimberly and inappropriate Brittany need to be reprimanded and fired. I'm upset with Brittany because she got involved in my conversation rudely and unprofessionally! Please do NOT let these people groom your pets, their attitudes are bad and they have no empathy.

Then the manager, Kimberly, tried to make it right by offering to groom my dog personally (and complementary) next time. I should have trusted my gut and taken the refund, but silly me, I gave them another chance. And it was the biggest mistake ever. My dog has a few mats, sure, but in the three years I've had her, no groomer has ever shaved her face and ears. Kimberly took it upon herself to do just that, for absolutely no reason. She butchered my baby's face and ears, leaving her looking completely ridiculous. When I picked her up, Kimberly actually said, "Well, I saved more hair than last time, right?" Like it was a joke! I am beyond disgusted. These people are lazy, unprofessional, and completely careless. They don't care about your pet, only getting the job done fast and moving on. My poor dog looks traumatized and nothing like herself. I will NEVER bring her here again. If you love your pet even a little, stay far away from Petco and definitely avoid Keena and Kimberly. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I've been going to this PetSmart for several years. The customer service has been up and down, but…read moremore recently, it's been down. I always sort my wet food cans by flavor so the cashier can more easily scan the cans. A previous cashier (who provided good customer service) once thanked me for that. Some cashiers then just place the cans into the bag, keeping them relatively orderly, whereas increasingly, I've gotten cashiers who just toss them into the bag in a big "mess." Not the biggest deal in the world, but it's annoying. How hard is it to just place the cans in the bag? The cashier I ran into yesterday was....not great at customer service. I definitely felt like it was an inconvenience that I was even there. She of course tossed all those cans into the bag, which I had to ask for in the first place. She gets the prize for roughest tossing. I had a coupon for one of the items. When I got out to my car, I discovered the coupon didn't take. I went back in to tell her and I was met with an attitude. She pulled the coupon back out and got her manager. He seemed annoyed by the whole thing as well. He immediately accused her of giving me the coupon back, asking her something like, "Why does she have it?" I didn't, she did. But obviously I would want it back if it didn't take. The manager did honor the coupon, which I appreciated, but there was a rough attitude there. No wonder the cashier was rude as well? I left feeling really uncomfortable, and don't plan on returning any time soon. (I also left feeling slightly concerned about any animals in their care. If that's how they treat a human who can leave reviews, how do they treat animals without voices? Hopefully they like the animals better than the annoying human customers.)

The brands stocked are reputable and not priced unreasonably for the consistent high quality that you will be receiving with many of these items. I would rather buy a cat bowl from a place with pet health in mind, which will account for the needs of the cat, rather than some random piece of plastic/potential lead infected made in China crap that may give my cat acne or make them sick. Your pet's health is worth it. On one occasion I entered the store, I overheard a clerk mention they weren't pleased with how a company responded to a cat getting sick to their product; so they removed it from their shelves. To me, this clearly shows they care about the well-being of the customers' pets! The food here ranges to accommodate all manner of diets. Raw/cooked, low processed, small-batch, locally/domestically owned business - high protein, low carb dry kibble - or a myriad of wet can varieties and brands to pick from. They sometimes provide free samples, which helps in trying new items for your furry friends when the price point can be steep.

We bought our snake in February (from an expo ) We have…read moreonly been getting mice from Wet Pet & Reptile Center Well my snake wouldn't eat last week when we got the mouse (he usually eats a small mouse every Tuesday) so we got a smaller size today. The smaller one fell into the water (thankfully), which separated its fur. Which is when i saw mites or a different type of bug all on it, that mouse has now died i assume from all the bugs feeding off it. I looked at the small mouse we had and it also has bugs. When i contacted them the first time (before the mouse died) they told Me it was a fluke and their mice are healthy. Well i have pictures and videos (i will post below) of the mouse and i sent it to them, i was told to come back and bring the mouse. I said i could come then (yesterday) they said they were about to close so no and i said i live less then 10 minutes away but okay and i went today. Well i was also told i would get my money back and bedding for my snake because it was a hassle having to clean and the entire room and all. Well i got there today, they only gave me money back and when i asked about the bedding they said well the smallest bag of bedding is 3.00 so not sure what your trying to get out of this. Well i took my money and now on my way to another shop for a mouse.. i was told that on Saturday because they are closed they are treating their mouse room for the problem and that "it's shouldn't be harmful" to my snake if it had ate it. Thankfully our animals are safe but if a company can't fix their mistake properly & be open a few more moment to fix the issue, i dont know about everyone else but it's not a place for me to be shopping let alone get food for My babies

Seems like a family ran business, every body is pretty comfortable there. The animals are in habitats that are not appropriate for their species nor size. They had a huge snake in a tiny enclosure for months on display with a note saying they'd upgrade it but weeks went by and it took for the snake to be severely burned and for me (and probably others) to ask them sternly about it for them to finally change it. The smell is horrible even tho you expect that in a pet store.... But it's horrid. Worst smelling one I've been to. Hoping they receive help with their animals/ give some away for their lack of care.

Lakshme also knew that I had trouble with grinding/cutting her nails, so one day she surprised me by giving my baby perfect nails.
