I realized how awful the dog bath at Pet Supplies Plus was after going to a different one nearby. Usually filthy, they only clean them once a day, drains constantly clogged with hair, water spewing out of plumbing they never fix despite being notified about it countless times. Nowhere to put anything, the last shelf unit broke little by little until now it's just one stupid shelf on the ground. Aprons torn to shreds & barely protect you from water, clasps don't work. Shampoo is always out, knobs broken, water too hot & no individual control. They don't care if pets are unleashed. At the new place you can take everything on the list & say the exact opposite. They clean the tubs after every wash. You pick your shampoo. Stacks of clean towels. Nice hose & faucet in good repair & water temp individually controllable. The whole experience was different. Night & day. PSP is like trying to get clean at a hoarder's house. The other one was like a spa. read more

Ran in here a little late with our Great Pyrenees mix. We actually meant to go to another pet mart but I called this place by accident and we decided to give it a shot. The staff were very friendly and understanding even though we came to their self-wash station near their closing time. I didn't like their washing station quite as much as other places, simply because one station was closed and our dog kept jumping out of the bath, and having the door shut made it kind of hot and stuffy inside, but I'm glad it was available nonetheless. I was also pleased to meet a little blue conure. My son and I were admiring it but I warned him not to touch because it may bite. A staff member came by and told me the bird was actually really friendly and enjoyed being pet. He said it normally roams around on the staff shoulders throughout the day. I thought this happy bird was a great sign of employees that actually care about the animals under their care! Way to go Pet Supplies Plus! read more

the door to the self serve dog wash is not there. when asked about replacing, no one (including the manager) knew-if or when.

I've been looking for Rummy Nose Tetras for about 8 weeks. I've talked to several local pet stores about possibly getting some in for me. The employees at Pet Supplies Plus took down my number and told me to call back on Tuesday when they get their fish order in. Most times when I called they weren't able to get any, but two weeks ago they did. They actually went out of their way to call me and leave a voicemail, but unfortunately I didn't check it soon enough and they sold out by the time I realized it. Today I called and they had gotten more rummy nose tetras in stock so I headed by the store on my way to work. I asked if I could go ahead and purchase every rummy nose tetra they had, and if they could hold them until I got off work later this evening (so the fish wouldn't have to stay in a bag for 9 hours). The manager told me they typically can't do that because they don't have anywhere to store the fish to make sure they don't get sold to someone else, but fortunately they had an empty aquarium so they were able to do it for me this time. I'm so pleased and I can't wait to pick up my little buddies this evening! I'd like to add that I also went to their competitors, Pet Supermarket, a couple months ago and asked them if they could order rummy nose tetras for me. I actually waited at the register for 5+minutes for the employee to stop chit chatting a few feet away and help me. I know she saw me, which was mildly irritating. If her conversation was actually important it wouldn't have bothered me so much, but I could hear everything they talked about. Eventually she wrote down my name and number for the fish order. When I called back to check in they told me I had to request for the fish in person, which I had already done several weeks prior, and had been calling almost every week since then to check their status. It was frustrating to say the least, so I'm sticking with Pet Supplies Plus from now on. (Not to mention Petsmart.. which has different types of aquarium pests in their tanks, specifically hydra and planeria. I've seen them with my own eyeballs. That's why their ghost shrimp are always dead. You don't want to buy fish from there) If you stuck through my review to the end, you can see that if it's convenience and respect you crave, as well as friendly and helpful employees, and HEALTHY ANIMALS, then Pet Supplies Plus is the best choice by far. read more

Pet Supplies Plus is a wonderful place to shop for your animal. What makes it even better is that they've got a animal bath in the back and the price is very very affordable. The staff is great the selection to product is great and it's a small local business. Customer services better than at some of the larger chains, because you get a lot more one-on-one interaction with the staff. read more

I was in the market for a new go-to pet shop and I'm so glad I gave this place a try! The manager (I believe he said his name was Rick) was very accommodating and helpful. He offered a few cans of food for my dog to try, just because, and didn't charge me. He also told me that they price match everything so he charged me a lesser amount than the dog food was priced, which I LOVE. Their customer service is amazing and for it to be my first experience, I couldn't imagine a better one. They've gained a new loyal customer. read more
