I had to go out and purchase bandage tape to protect for healing. The third time, one dog had razor burn near her privates and the other came out with a bloody paw. This groomer is only interested in volume of pets. My husband was shaken every time he dropped the girls off saying it was absolute chaos and was filthy. We thought it may get better based on the owner texting and stating that this was not normal but sadly it was.

Most places first ask about if our pitbull is aggressive and can it be around other dogs but not this owner! She was saying how excited to be having a pitbull come in and that did it for me! Fantastic! That's the best word to describe Amber and her wonderful team. Love your fur babies?…read morePrefer they get groomed in a gentle and loving environment? Prefer they not spend their time in a teeny tiny crate? If you said YES, then this is where you need to go. I found this place through referrals from my neighbors, and I couldn't be happier. The set up is great, though it can be tough to spot on your first time in. They're at the roundabout for Morrison Plantation - behind the Mountain outdoors store and Brewsters Ice Cream, between a nail salon and the popcorn shop. It's small and unassuming but also very intimidate. The dogs are always smiling when I go in there - if you have a dog you know what I mean by "smiling!" Rather than crate the doggies, Amber and her team let them stay in the shared open area behind a nice gate so they don't escape through the front door. Her prices are reasonable, and they will bath or groom your fur baby however you like it. They are very accommodating. They also offer add on services like nail painting and tooth brushing for a nominal price. My fur baby is always excited to see me when I pick her up, but I know she's been treated well because she doesn't miss a beat when we pick her up. No more scared or shaking baby! That's how I know they're loving. I also happen to know that the owner is a true lover of animals. She regularly fosters dogs in need, and often brings her fur babies for a play date. All the doggies get along, and take it from me, because admittedly my fur baby is antisocial with other dogs but does fine here. I'm particular about her haircut - short around the mouth, no perfumes added, no mustachy cut (she's a poodle and sometimes the teddy cuts look like a mustache to me,) and be patient and gentle with her. The girls here always cater to my requests so I always make sure to tip because they're prices are reasonable and they go the extra mile. I'm very happy with them! So I'm posting this here as a caution to others to stay away from this business. The staff here seem more content with charging you for everything under the sun rather than just giving you a reasonably priced service like a reputable business would. It's sad really as I hoped to make this place my regular vet. If you have cats don't come here cause they charge for everything. Every time you bring your animal in they will charge a base of 79.99 for touching your animal whether they gave a full exam or not. Be careful!

I do not feel that vets or their clinic staff should be blamed for this. Animals get sick and I feel Dr. Cooper does her best to see and treat as many sick animals as she possibly can each day. Personally, I think sick care is her specialty. My rescue cat got sick and they agreed to see her within a day or two of calling. She is a new patient for the clinic and we do not have any medical records on her. Also, Dr. Cooper agreed to see our new puppy within the week last year when no other clinic would and this year she saved us again when our puppy needed a Bordetella vaccine within the week. I do not think we could ask for a more accommodating vet and clinic, especially in our rural area. Permanent clinic switch, done! Thank you and BIG SHOUT OUT to Dr. Cooper and ALL the staff at the clinic! Front desk staff is very nice, professional and helpful, too.

Harbor Paws? More like Harbor Pause... Nail Day Canceled…read more I prepaid $249 for a one-year Harbor Paws care plan for my dog. My appointment was confirmed 48 hours in advance, but less than 24 hours later, Tara, the practice manager, told me I was unfit for their practice and that no refund would be given. She said this was because of a previous review I wrote, not anything related to my pet's care. I was denied most of the services I paid for, including doctor visits and nail trims. I've escalated this to corporate and the veterinary board. Potential clients should know prepaid plans here may be canceled at the practice's discretion.
