Unfortunately, my experience with them was horrible. First, they were unclear about their charges. When I dropped off my dog, they told me I would be charged with Standard rate. But after I picked him up, I was billed with Deluxe rate & no explanation provided. In addition, the boarding rates they listed were only for a sleeping space. You had to pay for Daycare fee if they let your dog out to play with other dogs and a bunch of other extra charges (such as the $8 for hugging/cuddling service which I never asked for). With a 12-day stay, this place costed me almost $700 total, far more than many other places would charge. Second, despite such an expensive bill and a promise for personal attention, my dog went home with open wounds and a claim "we don't know what happened" from them. I took him to the vet and found out that he was bitten with 3 deep marks. I had to pay hundreds of dollars more out of my own pocket for him to get stitches. When I called them back to express my disappointment in a very polite way, they said "We're sorry, but we really didn't hear or see anything. Plus accidents happen sometimes, you know." Overall, super sketchy & irresponsible business. Please stay away from this place if you can.

There's so much to love, but here are a few highlights: 1. The space is CLEAN! The staff work extremely hard to keep the space clean and sanitary. 2. Dogs can access the outdoors. This is a huge plus for us! It's so nice that Frank can go in and out and get some fresh air/ outside play time. Additionally, it's nice that he uses the bathroom outside so he doesn't learn bad habits. 3. The staff are on it! They watch dogs play constantly and are extremely proactive in managing play. Things don't fall through the cracks with this team! It's comforting knowing Frank is in good hands and having safe play. 4. I utilize the extra services offered all the time for nail trims, ear cleaning, and grooming needs. It's an efficient way to get these things done at the same time he's at daycare. 5. We have boarded Frank over night here and felt extremely comfortable with this. They allow you to bring items from home to put into the sleeping space - we brought a blanket, bed, and toys for Frank which was a great bonus. Made him feel a little more at home! The staff take great care of all the dogs staying overnight! 6. A bonus! We don't use this service, but transportation is available for dogs to get to/from daycare. What a great idea! 7. The staff are beyond nice! Every person there wants to be there. They are friendly, engaging, and extremely accommodating. The best team! If you're looking for a place for your dog - look no further! The ambiance at this store is different than Bubbly Paws- no dog conditioner or cologne spray. It doesn't smell too great, but we got the job done with our dog. I like how the dryer is mounted above each tub for ease in getting your dog (semi) dry. My dog hated the dryer portion of the bath. Parking on Grand Ave worked fine, but there is a small shared parking lot outside the building if you can snag a space there. The larger portion of the store is pet treats, supplies, etc.

Our pups have some unique needs and the owners/caregivers always listen carefully and carry out what's needed. The place isn't fancy (your dog cannot watch TV...) but that doesn't matter as the accomodations are appropriate, comfortable and the folks there care about your pup/s. We trust them, recommend them and wouldn't take our pups anywhere else. You won't worry when they are caring for your dog.

I gave them a call and was able to get in right away and we were in and out within 5 minutes! I have a miniature dachshund who is 3 1/2 years old and a little timid. I was so thrilled to discover that Vanessa was so sweet and patient with her. She treated my dog as if she were her own and made it an overall positive experience for my pup. The experience reminded me of going to a dental hygienist who lectures you on your neglect. They suggested drugging our dog to bring her in next time, but that is the last thing I would do. The cut our dog received was very uneven and looked bad. I wish I could remember the previous groomer because I would request him.
