Unsure how this place managed to get these fake reviews. Store owners showed up late (pulled up 5 minutes after my apartment) with a line of customers waiting outside already. Nearly a dozen appointments all scheduled for 9:30 AM with two groomers! Our dog has been to three different groomers and has always been considered and "angel" and "perfectly behaved". He has never nipped or been slightly aggressive toward anyone. After our dog was there for an hour we received a phone call saying he was "attacking" them. Upon arrival I witnessed the staff being aggressive with the dogs all crammed in a small over packed space. I would not wish this type of service on my biggest enemy. Go elsewhere and do not get scammed out of your $35 deposit like I did! read more

Chaotic experience! Showed up to my 9am apt with 10+ patrons waiting outside. Owners slowly came out of their car, opened the shop and didn't apologize.. at 10:00 AM, the shop called me to say they were not giving my dog a groom due to aggression.. my dog has never been aggressive in his two years. What was my dog doing from 9am-10am? Just sitting in a cage surrounded by 10 plus dogs. I made a 9am apt why was he just sitting around for an hour? I provided a 35 dollar non refundable deposit.. this is how they make their money. read more

We brought our beloved dog Gillie to Pet Stop on National Dog Day-8/26 to pamper her because she is a loved member of our family but within hours she was gone forever ! Let me explain, she was brought into the grooming area, she was scared and afraid and nipped the groomer, the groomer let go of the leash and Gillie escaped from the back area to the front and than out the front door, there were no barriers in place, doors and access were open for her to run into the parking lot and across a Main Street to a construction lot! We were called at this point and we searched along with the groomer but she was gone! A few hours later we were informed she was hit by a car and taken to a local animal hospital, where they tried to revive Gillie but she was gone! I can't describe the shock and sadness we feel, we are devastated as a family, but I want to stress the groomer was very helpful looking for Gillie, finding her and taking her to the hospital as well as covering her end of life expenses.I want to conclude by saying Pet Stop needs to do better in the future, there needs to be a system in place where doors are not left open and barriers are in place to make sure this does not happen to another dog family, dogs get scared and spooked but Giilie did not deserve to die this way! read more

I have been coming here off and on for a couple years and I wanted to make a review because I have to say I am so overly satisfied with how they groomed my shih tzu, Daisy. She was brought out to me looking absolutely beautiful! They shaped her face EXACTLY how I asked them to, she was silky smooth like I have never felt her coat before, cleaned her ears.. they were impeccably clean. She has allergies and her breed has ear issues with itching and I swear she has no issues for 3 weeks now since her grooming. I can go on and on at this point. But last my Daisy was calm coming back from being groomed not in distress like she has in the past. Both Daisy and I agree they are the best!! read more

We have been with Pet Stop for over 17 years. Joe and Ray are excellent at grooming and friendly customer services. We started with our first dog Isis, a Westie, in 2004 and continue with our second dog, Yoda, a miniature poodle. They expertly bathe, trim and cut toenails as well as sell a variety of dog food, treats, harnesses, leashes and wonderful toys. This place is the best! Joe and Ray are fantastic. We've been bringing our dogs here for at least 12 years and we have never had anything but wonderful experiences. It is always worth it to book appointments in advance as they are quite the popular shop. Prices are great and they have a great little selection of doggie goodies. Our dogs have always came back happy, stress free (we had a teacup poodle so stress free for her says a lot!!), smelling great and the girls have the cutest little boys in their hair when finished.
