I decided to look on Yelp, because they have helped me find contractors before. I chose Pest Medics because they responded within a hour. They also (responding through text) told me their range of pricing and could come out the next day. I'm assuming Javan is the owner of the company. Him and another worker came within their window of time. They were very cordial to us as they entered. They listened to my daughter explain the issues she was having. They walked through the house (inside and out) inspecting where the critters could be coming in and out of. They finally found one of the entry points near the roof. They explained about the one way gate like thing they put up to let (we think it was squirrels) out, but could not get back in. My daughter was impressed that there was not cruelty to the animals. She just wanted them out of her house. All in all, it took the a total of 45 minutes to complete the job. Not mentioning the price, they charged the top of the range they gave her. There was no paperwork to show what was done. Just a receipt for the job (on her phone) and a 30 day verbal guarantee for the work they had done. This is were the stars started coming off!! About a week had passed and my daughter was still hearing squirrels in the roof. She called Javan and company to come back out because the problem was still there. They made a appointment to come back two days later with a no show and no call. My daughter call them within a half hour left within that window of time they were suppose to have come out. Javan telling her he got tied up with another job and could they reschedule. He knew he was tied up before that phone call. It is to easy to text or call someone. That is so rude, to waste someone's time....looking for you to come. They did reschedule though. The same thing happened again, only this time he called her when there was only a half hour left with in his scheduled window, saying he needed to reschedule. At this point we felt he had her money, so she goes on the back burner. After a few harsh words, he followed up and showed up soon after. They reinspected her property, sealed in some additional entery points. Later, came back to get their cage and seal in the entry points in the roof. Seems like the problem is solved. I don't like giving bad reviews, but they wasted her time twice. They didn't do a bad job, just be warned if you decided to go with Pest Medics.

She spotted a small pile of what appeared to be sawdust near the hole. We were concerned, so we called Liberty Pest Control for an inspection. Rex arrived, and looked the opening over, and also inspected the interior of the house. He explained that the insects were ants, and were not actually eating wood. The sawdust pile only resulted from the ants moving material behind the wall that was already sawdust left over from construction. Rex said that we did not need professional treatment, and recommended placing ant traps near the opening. Unlike pest controls services that I have dealt with in the past, Rex did not pressure us to pay for an expensive treatment, or to sign a monthly treatment contract. My wife and I very much appreciated his honesty, and would highly recommend!!

Kevin was the most thorough by far! He moved our kitchen appliances to show us where they may be nesting, and identified potential entry points that needed to be sealed. He did regular treatments and followed up to make sure that our pest problem wasn't recurring. When our bug problem became a mouse problem, he came by immediately with traps. When the mouse got loose in the house, he coached us through how to catch it live on the phone, and came by the next day to check on us. We've had Orkin for about five years (if you consider three years prior, then canceling them and…read morethen giving them a second chance and having them for the last year and a half) For some reason, they lack customer service and customer service tells you things that just don't happen. By way of example, we have been waiting for a mouse bait trap since the middle of March (when they performed our early spring treatment. As of June 21st, we still have not received the bait trap and we keep asking every time they come and the Technician tells us they will deliver one or bring it with them on the next visit and this does not happen. We have had two visits since and they keep saying it's coming. We have found in our experience that the Technicians notes are not communicated to the office nor to other Technicians and each time Orkin comes, we have a different Technician who knows nothing about the prior visit or anything about a bait trap being delivered (nor does the office staff). I suspect Orkin has high turnover of employees (it is rare to have the same Service Technician) so the person who performed service in March most likely dors not have his notes communicated to the next Service Technician who comes out on the next scheduled visit. Their office process appears disfunctional (on my opinion) and their systems or staff are questionable. You probably wonder ..."why are we still using them"..? My answer is that Orkin is slightly less then most competitors and in the beginning, they were really good, however things started to change. I'm telling people this because no matter what they tell you during their sales call, get it in writing and you need to stay on them to ensure they do what your contract states. Do not take their verbal word on anything, and do follow up on any requests ( you may be calling them frequently).

We called them for JUST the bees; a technician came out and proceeded to inform us that we had to inspect the roof of the house, find the holes, and spray insecticide into them.
