I have been living in North Las Vegas for almost 2 years now and I have been doing the bug spraying myself. I followed exactly what the directions said and sprayed monthly. Pests such as cockroaches, spiders(mainly black widows), crickets, and ants seemed to breach my doorway then lay dead shortly after. This was great with sweeping every other day to clear away the dead bugs that died on their way into my house. But after my wife left some delicious smelling food out on the counter over night we were over run by ants. And i'm not talking yea a trail of ants big whoop... I mean about 1000 ants decided to come in and make a field day with my kitchen. So no more do it yourself bug spray... Here's where John came in. My wife freaked out(hey it was her fault anyways...jk), and I called a few companies and Pest Control Inc. was the best priced and quality. With it being late in the afternoon almost evening time I set up an appointment with anyone from PCI the next morning from 8-10am. I wanted it as soon as possible so I could be rid of these ants and other bugs. John the owner decided to make the house call himself and If you know John or met him once you will know that he is a very fun person to talk to and he likes to talk. With this being said he was going to show up near the end of the appointment window. I received a courtesy call from PCI letting me know John would be at my house around 9:50-10:00am, Thanks for the heads up and making me feel important to your company :) When he arrived he explained so much more than just the high quality bug spray he was going to used, I got a lesson in Ecology(plants and bugs ecosystems), deterrents, habits of insects, common bugs in Nevada, and much more. After 2 fun hours of learning and watching John do his magic I was extremely satisfied with how much he sprayed. Not only did he spray around the house, he went to the property lines, all main pathways a bug would want to use, the plants, around the pool, up and down fences, even in the gravel area's. He sprayed in area's I never expected and used much much more spray than I ever would've thought could be cost effective. I have yet to see one bug come into my house, and that includes the ants which were basically running things here in my kitchen. Seriously, I had to ask permission to enter the kitchen and make something.... There were so many when I went to make something and if I turned my back for a second the ants would carry it away before I could eat it. All the black widows are laying dead under their webs, not one cockroach has returned, and crickets magically disappeared into oblivion. Best of all... I didn't have a pigeon problem per say, but they do hang out in the neighborhood. Maybe once daily they will be in my backyard or on top of my house doing their annoying cooing.. I first met the owner of PCI about 3 years ago. I owned a home in North Las Vegas that had a nasty pigeon problem. I called around to a few places and everyone I spoke with seemed like a jerk or couldn't help me with pigeons. The ones that did said they would come to look, but it would likely cost thousands of dollars. Then I spoke with John. We chatted a while and then he said he would swing on over right away! We went over all of the issues and he began to give me options. He knew I was on a budget so he said if I was willing to do some of the work he could take care of the hard stuff and the sanitary stuff. At the time I thought no problem, but after I climbed on my two story roof to hose off excessive amounts of pigeon poo I knew I was in over my head. John came to the rescue! He and his crew finished off the remainder and sanitized everything so my family and I would be safe from disease and illness. His customer service is top notch and his attention to detail unmatched. He clean and put up barriers so the pigeons couldn't nest as well as put up spikes! I have used him and his company ever since. He just came to our new house and took care of some of the craziest black widow spiders I have seen! The company is owned an operated by his family and trusted employees. i need to praise john parins jr. president/ceo of pci pest control inc....i cannot say enough good things about john and his two sons ,who work with john...after having a bee problem and having a bee allergy and my ' professional ' pest control man of 12 years did nothing to help me i turned to channel 13 news.......they sent a crew over to my home to interview me and filmed what was going on in my backyard..........immediately john called the station to say he would come and professionally get rid of the bees at no charge to me........he and his son came the very next day and did a great job and i learned a lot.......of course they now have me as a valued customer....as i will also spread the word to all.......but the main lesson is john is not only a pro at what he does but he has a huge heart and it is filled with compassion and goodness for the human race.....he leaped up to the plate right away and helped me with nothing to gain but my admiration............he gave me a restored faith in mankind.... in this day and age men like john and his two sons are hard to find and when we do we have to show them the admiration they deserve...you could not find more kind men than john and his sons.....professionally or personally......i would refer this company to all and hope you are blessed to be another customer, as i am.....kathy moses read more
