Amazing food! The best ever! We. Used to go to Medford for it. Hopefully they stay in grants pass. My six year old loves it too!

    Tallarin Saltado w/ chicken

I saw the chicken on the grill at the Britt and had to try the Tallarin Saltado. The plate was loaded with a hefty portion, veggies were fresh and I loved the green chimichurri sauce. I added chicken and would recommend this dish. A Peruvian , Japanese noodle fusion.

The food was delish and the portion size was enough for me to eat the salad and half the chicken now, and the rice and other half of chicken later. Their cilantro-jalapeño puréed sauce is healthy and to die for!!

Absolutely worth it to drive here from Ashland, even with today's gas prices...Delicious food, great sauces, fast service!

Good tasting healhty clean food. Eaten here a few times everything is good. The sauces that come with the food are "crack" like addicting.

There's way too few veggies in their dishes. The meat is tasty because it's loaded with salt. Not sure why anyone thinks this is healthy.

Didn't really enjoy pulling this long hair out of my mouth like a fish line from the ocean to see what I've caught. Now granted this is unavoidable as I have worked in the food and service industry for most of my life and know it happens. What made me write this review is the fact that the people who handled my food were not wearing hats, hairnets or having their hair pulled up above the neck and ears which is a OR health code violation. I know that it could have been the end of their night, and they were done nearly done with their shifts or whatever, BUT rules are rules for a reason. Good luck with your business and if you can take anything away from this review: please put your hair up while on the clock. Cheers,

It was good, the spam slice was a bit thin and it was in the middle of the rice cube instead of on top but the taste, there was a light teriyaki sauce, was excellent. Only one type of musubi is available. Ideally, it should have a pickled turnip next to the meat, but many places skip that. Musubi can be made with chicken and/or egg instead of spam and in Japan, salmon is most often used. Cute server, but of course that's not relevant.

Some have their high points, and I'm a fan of several. While I also love the sit-down place down the street, (because it is easier to get to with the fam), no other place near Meddy makes tacos and tortas as good as this. You're not gonna get beer......and there's only a picnic table out front on the highway for "ambiance".....but if you want FOOD. The BEST food. And that want includes tacos, tortas, or a loaded burrito, then this is the place-hands down. The family that runs it puts a ton of love and care into what they do. The salsas are always fresh and just amazing. The handmade tortillas are what you have always wished for. The meat......well......just try and not fall in love with the carnitas or asada. I defy you. When they opened a couple years ago, the owner told me that he meant to be the best taco truck the Valley had. I smiled nicely, and said I was sure it would be good. But it's not just good. He has continually proven, over and over, that he and his family are up to the task. I literally eat lunch here at least once a week. In fact, I arrange my work schedule just to do it. Yeah.....it's THAT kinda good! I fear this truck ever leaving.....and my heart skips a beat when I see it has moved. (They take it home to clean and restock). One day, I will reminisce with the owner as he has a storefront somewhere-if that is their goal-about the best taco truck ever. Garcia's definitely made it.

Had a wonderful experience at my first time eating at Lucy's Taco Shop! I ate in their spotless…read moredining area (the restroom was immaculate too). They have a huge menu on display. There are 27 combo plates that include rice and refried beans. Most are bargain priced at $14.25 (only three were $17 for shrimp). I had a burrito bowl with carnitas. It was very tasty with a large portion of pork, pico de gallo, rice, refried beans, guacamole and sour cream topped with shredded lettuce and cheese. It was a lot to eat for $13. Portions are substantial and most patrons left with a box to take the remainder of their meals home. They have long hours from 7 am to 11 pm seven days a week. I noticed that they have an extensive breakfast menu too. Delivery of the food was very fast both for the dining in and drive-thru customers. One thing to note about their location. They're in the former Jack in the Box building on the corner of Cheryl Lane and Highway 99 across from the vacant Ray's Food Place in Phoenix. If you're driving from the south on Highway 99 you cannot cross the median to drive into the restaurant. You need to turn left at the light into the Ray's parking lot (or drive straight at the light into Ray's if coming from I-5), turn right and cross Cheryl Lane to get into their parking area or turn into the drive-thru for Lucy's Taco Shop. Leaving is back through the parking area to Cheryl Lane. Phoenix has a confusing interchange to get onto I-5. When you're leaving. drive past the Chevron station to turn left by the former Rite Aid to head towards the freeway entrances. Join Highway 99 in either direction from the light coming out of Ray's parking lot. It's worth the driving logistics the first time to get to Lucy's Taco Shop to support this family owned business. I know it won't be the last time I eat there!
