    I want to try this
    Jen K.

We have been using up coupons in our Save Around book, and we decided to try Perri's this weekend. We actually ended up going back again because my husband liked the wings so much! The coupon was for a free 10 piece of boneless wings with the purchase of a large one topping pizza. The first time we got a breakfast pizza with just cheese and egg, and garlic parmesan wings. I went to pick it up, and the parking lot was crowded, so I was expecting it to be loud and crowded inside. I was surprised when I walked in and it was very spacious, lots of tables were full, but it wasn't loud, and it didn't have that loud bar crowd type feel. I would have happily eaten inside, but I picked it up to go. The total for the pizza and wings with the coupon was $20. It would have been over $30 without the coupon, and that would have been too much. The pizza is pretty big for a large. We all liked it, and I would get the breakfast pizza again. Although, I've had better breakfast pizzas from other places in the area. My husband is the only one that had the wings, but he loved them! My husband rarely raves about how good something is, but he really liked them! On Sunday, we wanted to order something to eat while the games were on, so we decided to go back here. We had the same coupon, but this time I got a pizza with pink sauce (mixture of red sauce and white sauce) and ricotta, and we got the garlic parmesan wings again. We also got the fried dough with the glaze. The total this time was $23, which seemed like a better deal with the fried dough, too. This time, it was more like I expected it to be the first time. It was much louder, and more of a bar type atmosphere. I think it was because they had the football games on, and they had the sound coming through the speakers. I really like football, but football game noise can get really loud, so I just preferred it here the first time. My order took a little longer than they said, so I waited like 5 more minutes for it. If this pizza had been what I ordered the first time, I wouldn't have gone back. I don't know if it really was pink sauce, or if it was just normal red sauce, but it was really tomato-y, and I didn't like it. I scraped most of it off. That would have been fine, but to pull the cheese off first, it wasn't gooey and melty. It was like one solid plastic-y type piece to pull off. It was ok, but nothing I'd want again. I was the only one that really didn't like it. If we get pizza from them again, I will be getting breakfast pizza for sure. I may try their white sauce, but sometimes they're really garlic-y, which was why I tried the pink sauce. My husband loved the wings again, so they are a win. If you eat wings, I suggest you try them. The fried dough was ok, but the cup of icing that came with it, OMG!! It's worth the $5 just for that cup of icing!! ! I almost got the caramel ones. Thank goodness I didn't. That icing was awesome!!! The food was good enough that I would go again. My husband loved the wings, so we'll definitely go again. They are in the coupon book again for next year, so we'll probably use those, but I think their prices are pretty high if you don't get a discount.

Hello Everyone, I have been having lunch daily at Perri's Pizza on East Ave. I have had nothing but the Best Service. I come in, sit at the bar the entire staff knows my name and I get a Soda off the fountain with a lime to start, then place my order and everything I get has been Outstanding! Today was the icing on the cake. I sat down, was greeted by Lindsey and I decided to order the Haddock Fish Fry Dinner, with coleslaw and fries. When this came out it was done to Perfection, lightly golden brown, the fish wasn't overdone it was done perfectly. I've had fish fry dinners elsewhere and never did I want to do a review, until today. The coleslaw was Perfect as well, it kept calling me back for more, I enjoy a bittersweet coleslaw and this had the happy harmony. The Jersey Fries were done just right, and I use a hot wing sauce to dip my fries in it. I've added a couple of pics, unfortunately I didn't think to get a picture of the Haddock Fish Fry, I'll be sure to get another one and add it in on this review. If you're looking for Outstanding Service and Amazing Food, stop over to Perri's Pizza at 1881 East Ave, give, Mike, Courtney, Lindsey, Armani, Ivan, Jay and Becca, my friends the opportunity to provide you and your family and friends the Hospitable Service that I receive each and every time I venture into their establishment. You won't be disappointed.

Here is the extremely burnt and inedible cheddar bacon ranch chicken sandwich with no ranch anywhere in sight that was delivered for dinner tonight. Will not be dining here again. Disgusting and disappointing.

Pretty sure tonight was my last time ordering from here, we ordered regular wings a large pizza 2 toppings and boneless wings. The boneless wings barely had sauce on them and were way too crispy, some tiny spots burnt. We ordered half pepperoni, half pineapple.whoever cut the pizza cut it like a jack a@@. Large slices and then thin baby slices...so my boyfriends pepperoni half had 3 slices more than my pineapple side...last time I ordered they left the metal pizza thing in the box. Get it together guys! Disappointed. So long Perri's

I was surprised by the delicious pizza, great dough chewiness, ample toppings and super cheesy. They also have varied wing sauces. They usually have a coupon bumping around too. T.V.s a plenty for sports fans.

I've now been here twice for pizza and I think it's definitely worth a visit! The pizza is thicker than my friends and I normally like, but you can't beat $3.47 for 1/4 of a pizza! Buffalo chicken, pepperoni, and cheese are available everyday and occasionally there will be others as well (like white pizza on Wednesdays!), especially during games. I like my Buffalo chicken pizza to have chicken tenders and blue cheese, but this was grilled chicken and only blue on the side, but the pepperoni slice I had the second time hit the spot. Lots of TVs, wide drinks menu, great selection of beer on tap (and specials during NFL games). We sat at the bar the first time and the bartender was lovely; the second time we were in a booth and our server was not very attentive.

The service was inattentive and food was mediocre. Everything seemed previously frozen. When the Buffalo Bills came on at 8pm, all the tables tried to get closer to their small outdoor bar with a few extra high tops. All the waitresses left and those of us left outside were asked to go inside to order. The outdoor bartender was also inattentive and planned to leave shortly after the game started. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, with some soft music playing, and sports on the TV. Our server was over within minutes to take our drink orders. We ordered the mozzarella half moons and an order of chicken wings as appetizers. The mozzarella half moons were not too great. They did not have much flavor and they tasted kind of old. But, the chicken wings were the star of the show. We got the Cajun gold sauce and wow... it was so good. There wasn't much of a Cajun flavor to it, but it had this tangy sweet flavor to it that made your mouth salivate. And the chicken wings themselves were fried to the perfect crisp. I ordered the turtle plate with cheeseburgers, french fries, and mac salad. The cheeseburgers and French fries were cooked well. The mac salad was lacking flavor and was just kind of watery. The meat hot sauce atop the plate had too much of a cinnamon flavor for me, that kind of ruined the whole plate for me. My dad order their special fried oyster po boy, which he said wasn't too great. He said the fried oyster were kind of cold, and they were put on a plain roll. My mom got a burger, which she said was a fine burger. I definitely will be back in the future at least for those wings, and to probably try some of their other food.

This is the best for folks who like to bring their pups everywhere and I wish I had known sooner. I also heard they have a rockin' weeknight karaoke, and I know my partner and I will be hitting that up at some point in the near future. This is your standard Monroe Ave dive (not the diviest there is but divey nevertheless) and it fits in great with the rest of the Monroe scene. I went with a raspberry vodka soda and it was perfectly strong, made by a super friendly bartender who was attentive to everyone seated. Lola's had a great run, and the well known corner real estate on Monroe Ave ( a major conduit to downtown Rochester) has had several past lives. Today's reincarnation is that of Turcotts. Turcotts belong to the same family of tap houses as Oxfords, Magpie's, Murphy's law, and Brass (check out the Yelp reviews). Bye bye to craft martinis and burlesque nights with the scantily dressed and goth-ish lady staff. Enter stage left: mixologists with that gritty-Monroe Ave-Dude! Where have you been my whole life-being. Instant liquid compadre and confidant. Maybe because of the heavy pours, but I'm sticking to my stance of good people good drinks. Prove me wrong. And now a brief history... This multigenerational-"family"-owned network of bars lost a dear and close "family" member when the longtime manager of Oxford's passed away. As an homage to this veteran bar manager the owners approached his family and asked if they could honor the fallen by renaming Lola's after him....or more exactly his family name: Turncott! Hence, Turcotts. Cheers to this! The physical layout of this watering hole has always been a challenge. Not only for the staff but for the patrons as well. It's narrow and doesn't accommodate groups greater than two. So if you're on date night or rocking lower Monroe Ave solo; then be sure give Turcotts some play. The makeover this establishment received is a huge upgrade. Goodbye great dive bar and hello jump off spot. Generous accents of red leather trim with matte black wood trip gives the place a good attempt at being not divvy- almost reminiscent of the British turncoats!...A good checkpoint on any Monroe Ave adventure. The drinks at Turncotts are definitely on par with the neighborhood. Depending on your relationship with the mixologist behind the bar, you're gonna have that off menu specialty or you're ordering one of the staples on the cocktail menu. You'll get a good drink with any choice. Don't look for the craft beverage on tap, as they offer little that's not bottled. Bottom line: tip your bartender and enjoy life. You're either gonna kick off at Turncotts or splashdown here. That's what makes the patron mix oh so good. If you hit the magic hours between 10 and midnight, you'll definitely have a story to tell at the water cooler. Overall: great homage to a fallen friend. Decent atmosphere with decent drinks. Either we start here or end here... Either way: Tip your bartender and party on Wayne.

Many restaurants in town had long waits, so I was pleasantly surprised when we were able to walk right in... until I realized the place was nearly empty. When I asked why it was so quiet, she explained it was the slow season. We looked over the menus and tried ordering chips and guacamole--only to learn they were out of guacamole. Next, we tried mozzarella sticks--also unavailable. As we looked for a third option, my son asked if their chicken wings used a dry rub. The server said she'd check with the cook... and went over to ask one of the guys playing pool. She returned to tell us he was not only the cook but also "a very good pool player." We then noticed no one in the restaurant had food in front of them, the air had a dingy smell, and the whole atmosphere felt off. At that point, we decided not to stay. Back in the car, I checked Yelp again and realized most of the glowing reviews were from five years ago. The atmosphere is high-energy, packed with screens, and carries that welcoming, "everyone's a regular" vibe that chain restaurants in big cities usually fail to replicate. The Menu: Something for Everyone One of Tully's biggest strengths is its massive variety. Whether you're with a group of picky eaters or a crowd with wildly different cravings, the menu is built for it. They cover the full spectrum of comfort food--from hearty burgers and fresh salads to pastas and steaks. The drink list is equally robust, offering everything from ice-cold domestic drafts to creative cocktails that pair perfectly with a loud afternoon of football. The Stars of the Show: Asian Chicken Tenders You can't talk about Tully's without mentioning the tenders. While they are famous for their original recipe, the custom Asian chicken tenders are a total game-changer. They strike that elusive balance of a crispy, hand-breaded exterior tossed in a sauce that delivers a sophisticated sweet-and-spicy kick. It's a flavor profile that keeps you coming back for "just one more" until the basket is empty. Don't Skip Dessert While many sports bars treat dessert as an afterthought, Tully's treats it like a main event. They are legendary for two specific treats: * Homemade Cheesecake: It's rich, creamy, and clearly made in-house with a level of density you usually only find in high-end bakeries. * Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie: This is a decadent masterpiece. It's the perfect end for anyone who loves that classic salty-sweet combo, featuring a silky texture that melts instantly. The Verdict: Tully's proves that you don't need to be in a major metro area to find top-tier bar food. With its massive portions, "Best in Show" tenders, and a dessert menu that rivals a pastry shop, it remains the gold standard for small-town sports dining.
