Tapping her nails impatiently while we decide what to order, not explaining the menu when we asked and blankly staring at us, and just generally being rude. She answered the phone and after she hangs up says to her coworker loudly "this dumb bitch just cancelled her order, it's not my fault you decided to spend your last twenty bucks on chicken wings." She then proceeded to start eating the wings at the counter and celebrate the cancelled order. First experience with Perri's definitely going to a different location next time where the staff isn't so trashy. read more

We have been using up coupons in our Save Around book, and we decided to try Perri's this weekend. We actually ended up going back again because my husband liked the wings so much! The coupon was for a free 10 piece of boneless wings with the purchase of a large one topping pizza. The first time we got a breakfast pizza with just cheese and egg, and garlic parmesan wings. I went to pick it up, and the parking lot was crowded, so I was expecting it to be loud and crowded inside. I was surprised when I walked in and it was very spacious, lots of tables were full, but it wasn't loud, and it didn't have that loud bar crowd type feel. I would have happily eaten inside, but I picked it up to go. The total for the pizza and wings with the coupon was $20. It would have been over $30 without the coupon, and that would have been too much. The pizza is pretty big for a large. We all liked it, and I would get the breakfast pizza again. Although, I've had better breakfast pizzas from other places in the area. My husband is the only one that had the wings, but he loved them! My husband rarely raves about how good something is, but he really liked them! On Sunday, we wanted to order something to eat while the games were on, so we decided to go back here. We had the same coupon, but this time I got a pizza with pink sauce (mixture of red sauce and white sauce) and ricotta, and we got the garlic parmesan wings again. We also got the fried dough with the glaze. The total this time was $23, which seemed like a better deal with the fried dough, too. This time, it was more like I expected it to be the first time. It was much louder, and more of a bar type atmosphere. I think it was because they had the football games on, and they had the sound coming through the speakers. I really like football, but football game noise can get really loud, so I just preferred it here the first time. My order took a little longer than they said, so I waited like 5 more minutes for it. If this pizza had been what I ordered the first time, I wouldn't have gone back. I don't know if it really was pink sauce, or if it was just normal red sauce, but it was really tomato-y, and I didn't like it. I scraped most of it off. That would have been fine, but to pull the cheese off first, it wasn't gooey and melty. It was like one solid plastic-y type piece to pull off. It was ok, but nothing I'd want again. I was the only one that really didn't like it. If we get pizza from them again, I will be getting breakfast pizza for sure. I may try their white sauce, but sometimes they're really garlic-y, which was why I tried the pink sauce. My husband loved the wings again, so they are a win. If you eat wings, I suggest you try them. The fried dough was ok, but the cup of icing that came with it, OMG!! It's worth the $5 just for that cup of icing!! ! I almost got the caramel ones. Thank goodness I didn't. That icing was awesome!!! The food was good enough that I would go again. My husband loved the wings, so we'll definitely go again. I have been here twice and the experience has pretty much been the same. The service is very friendly. Getting a slice will guarantee to fill you up. The sauce is tangy and plenty of cheese(perhaps too much if that is possible) The pizza is just too thick for my liking. The wings are better although walking out the sauce spilled all over me. Hello Everyone, I have been having lunch daily at Perri's Pizza on East Ave. I have had nothing but the Best Service. I come in, sit at the bar the entire staff knows my name and I get a Soda off the fountain with a lime to start, then place my order and everything I get has been Outstanding! Today was the icing on the cake. I sat down, was greeted by Lindsey and I decided to order the Haddock Fish Fry Dinner, with coleslaw and fries. When this came out it was done to Perfection, lightly golden brown, the fish wasn't overdone it was done perfectly. I've had fish fry dinners elsewhere and never did I want to do a review, until today. The coleslaw was Perfect as well, it kept calling me back for more, I enjoy a bittersweet coleslaw and this had the happy harmony. The Jersey Fries were done just right, and I use a hot wing sauce to dip my fries in it. I've added a couple of pics, unfortunately I didn't think to get a picture of the Haddock Fish Fry, I'll be sure to get another one and add it in on this review. So this Perri's is out near my daughter's house - near East Ave in the city. We've always been a Perri's Pizza family, and when this moved in near her house we were excited! The pizzas here are amazing. Hot and fresh and they come out of the oven quickly. There's a full bar here too so that a plus! If you order a slice it's a good size! Definitely a filler upper. One thing I like about this location is that in the summer, we can sit outside on their porch and we can bring Bruce! Bruce (my daughter's dog) is a pit/boxer mix and just loves to come along. I love animal friendly places. They bring him a bowl of water and he happily sits along while we eat. Can't go wrong with Perri's! read more

Pretty sure tonight was my last time ordering from here, we ordered regular wings a large pizza 2 toppings and boneless wings. The boneless wings barely had sauce on them and were way too crispy, some tiny spots burnt. We ordered half pepperoni, half pineapple.whoever cut the pizza cut it like a jack a@@. Stopped in for a slice on lunch one Wednesday afternoon, Well 11am. Ordered a pepperoni slice had a coupon for another free slice. I ended up getting two pepperonis. The slices were huge just like the box says. The crust was amazingly crispy. Something you don't find too often especially from Perry's. Everyone was friendly and nice. The two slices were quick to come out for being 11am. Inside the place was very clean and welcoming. The pub side looked awesome as well but Unfortunately I was on lunch. I've now been here twice for pizza and I think it's definitely worth a visit! The pizza is thicker than my friends and I normally like, but you can't beat $3.47 for 1/4 of a pizza! Buffalo chicken, pepperoni, and cheese are available everyday and occasionally there will be others as well (like white pizza on Wednesdays!), especially during games. I like my Buffalo chicken pizza to have chicken tenders and blue cheese, but this was grilled chicken and only blue on the side, but the pepperoni slice I had the second time hit the spot. Lots of TVs, wide drinks menu, great selection of beer on tap (and specials during NFL games). The single worst experience I've ever had ordering on line in my life. Today was the third consecutive year I've made the mistake of ordering wings on Superbowl Sunday from this restaurant. I take full responsibility for giving the staff and management from Perris East Avenue the benefit of the doubt for three straight years ... guess I believe everyone deserves a second chance. Admittedly, a good deal of my anger is because i chose to come back. Each year, this year included ... my order was not ready. In fact, each year my order had not even been started when I arrived at the location. I waited 30 minutes year one, 35 minutes year two and 25 minutes today. Each year, for the past three years, both staff and management have literally no explanation for their mistake and each year their customer service is pathetic. It has been their apathy ... almost happily shrugging off their error that infuriates me. This year, the manager had the audacity to tell me my experience was just bad luck. I should point out that this year, obviously worried Perris would repeat their shoddy service, I placed my initial wing order on Thursday... made sure they had my order on file on Saturday and called AGAIN this morning (Superbowl Sunday) just to make sure my wings would be ready on time. Wondering what more i need to do? I've got news for the staff at Perris. One year is a mistake, two years is unacceptable, three straight years is flat out incompetence. I will NEVER step foot in this restaurant again and if you're reading this review, I'd respectfully suggest you avoid this location at all cost. They have done a really good renovation of the old Brighton restaurant... This was my second time at this pub but my first chance to try their pizza. A group of us gathered here for a meeting and were planning to just have drinks when the waitress told us that on Tuesday nights we could get a one topping extra large pizza (at least it seemed extra large) for $8.88. This was a far better deal than some of us ordering slices so we went for it. It was a decent medium-thin crust pizza and it was really loaded with pepperoni! Best pizza in Rochester? No, but at that price we plan to hold our meetings here on Tuesdays in the future! Also the well drink prices were very reasonable... Since Perris Penfield was closed early tonight we decided to order from Perris East Ave. BIG MISTAKE. My daughter's order of boneless chicken bites were not only overcooked and too hard to eat but they were lathered in just butter. No garlic or parmesan cheese. Also there was a brown sludge at the bottom of the order. See picture. I ordered the pub platter and the Mac salad was very sour. The blue cheese was separated and oily like it was sitting out all day. I also ordered the chopped chicken 10 inch grilled sub. I was specific when I ordered and the person taking my order confirmed it was the sub.i later found out they didn't have that at that location and they gave me a chicken sandwich instead. When I called back the first time to ask why I wasn't told they did not have this at that location I was told ' I don't know, I didn't take your order". The chicken sandwich was on a roll that was flat, hard and crunchy on the bottom, vegetables were not grilled like I asked and the cheese was definitely not provolone like I asked. I love Perris pizza for years now since the slices were only $3 flat about 10 years ago when they were on the corner of goodman and norton. The best pizza always well recently I went to this location and I didnt feel that same perris pizza love that I've always felt. Granted it's been 2 years of me being away but I was still hoping for the same service and quality but I was disappointed at this location. Maybe it was just a this location thing or the night they had was off. I'm pregnant now when those cravings hit my boyfriend goes running to get it, a couple of days ago it was for perris pizza. We went he got a buffalo chicken and I got a pepperoni slice. First when we walked in we were greeted but that was it. She only said hi and we were confused where to go and she didnt direct us anywhere. We sat down kind of confused as it was my first time at this location, we received no questions like "do you guys need help or anything". We awkwardly stood up in the front and waited a bit for someone to attend to us and we asked for a menu. It was all a bit awkward not getting help from anyone of the people behind the bar or going in and out the door right next to us or being offered a menu or what can I help you guys with or anything. Felt like a self checkout. We ordered the slices and she told us it will be right out. Sat down again got our order and we head home. Midway in the car drive I checked the pizzas with the light on in the car and noticed my top pizza crust for the pepperoni was burnt. I was upset but it was late night and I just wanted to get home and eat my craving. When I got home and bit in to the pizza slice i noticed OH the top crust isnt just burnt the bottom is burnt as well. I couldnt eat half of my pizza or the top crust because it was burnt it tasted horribly burnt on the bottom. Ordered online and it took forever for my food to come--was delivered half an hour late with no notification of the delay until it showed up. I ordered a chicken wing pizza and boneless wings. The boneless wings had a chewy, gross texture, all the breading fell off as I bit into them, and best of all they arrived stone cold. I loooove their pizza. Our favorite is the Bonnie and Clyde on thin crust. Our only issue is that the last 2 times we've ordered it, it's cold and late. For instance, we just got our pizza which was delivered in 1 hour and 20 min. They said 45-1 hour. No big deal. But the pizza was cold. The guy lost our receipt and said he wasn't even sure it was our pizza, "it was". The slice I had for the first time was pretty disappointing. The crust was barely baked and very doughy in the middle. The buffalo chicken had small pieces of chicken and little to know buffalo chicken flavor. Unfortunately I was pretty underwhelmed by this slice. The large pizza with ham I get on Tuesday's sometimes is a hundred times better than this slice was. So I would recommend that but don't get the slice. I'm pretty obsessed with this place even though I've only dined in once. I've had their pizza at other locations, but this bar/restaurant is freakin' awesome! The bar is huge, they have tons of seating, and they have a very sweet juke box. The bartender the night we were there was very friendly and helpful.
