Well idk how to start but I honestly was just looking for a place to eat after a long day of work and I was really really hungry usually I would go to a normal restaurant and order a plate but I know I would just be hungry if I just eat in a normal restaurant but Perris buffet let's you have more than one plate I was close by so I visited the place and went in payed sat down and went to pick out a plate and they have a good amount of variety of food sea food and grilled meats they have a normal fountain drink it was alr but I would like more variety in the sodas but other than that I liked the food the drinks and it's a quiet place for those that like to have a good meal in peace read more

I've been coming here for years and this place is highly underrated. The prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious and fresh. They're very nice at the door but it's very much seat and serve yourself which I don't have a problem with. Ambiance is relaxed and causal. The food is a mix of different things. There's a huge salad bar and the seafood selection is so good. I love the soups!! My father is obsessed with their coconut shrimp and always wants and hubby to take him to this buffet when he's in town. If you enjoy feeling like your life is in immediate peril, then this restaurant is for you. The issue is not the cost (although I felt like I wasted my money) but the dismal food. The food is bland, tasteless and genuinely unappealing. I tried the honey chicken and orange chicken both smoosh and cold. My girlfriend said the French fries were also cold A swanson's frozen microwavable dinner is 5 steps up. They should add packages of lunchables so guests can have something to eat. The staff was mid, I asked if there were any chop sticks and and he didn't answer only stared at me. The silverware are all together in a tub and everyone's hands touching them. The ambiance looked like they just opened and didn't decorate. The bathroom looked like death. Dirty toilets and no soap in dispenser. I'm really surprised this place is still open. I liked Perris Buffet for what it is and not for being a five star restaurant. If you expect more than it is you will always be disappointed. The food was yummy and not cooked by a gourmet chef. Came to this buffet for lunch a few days ago with my man and baby and had a good experience but then we decided to bring our other kids here for dinner so they can try it and it was a horrible experience. Mind you, it's our children's first time here and my son decided to get some noodles that they cook for you. He put some meat on the plate and the guy who cooks the food started yelling at my child in Spanish. My son doesn't speak Spanish and didn't know why this employee was yelling at him. I don't know why he thought it was okay to yell at a child but that ruined our entire experience. You don't yell at anyone's kid or yell at anyone. Come to find out he's yelling at my son to put the meat on a separate plate. You could have talked to my son nicely and not assume that he speaks Spanish. We told the receptionist who I think is the owner of the place, about the cook's attitude which he went to address but the entire time the cook began banging a bunch of dishes around and staring at our family. It showed a lot in such a short amount of time. It was a horrible experience for my children as they were not focused on eating and we spent $80+ on tummy aches from the anxiety. When I read the reviews on this location I have to admit I was quite worried about the quality and service. I decided to take the risk and go to the Perris Buffet with a couple of my pals after a great car show right at the perris fairgrounds, after all the walking and observance of dope whips we decided to end the day off with a banger and grab a bite to eat. Where do I begin the quality was outstanding the shrimp tasted so fishy so I'm assuming that's as fresh as can be I loved the pizza there and as you can see from the photos my buddy Jr really loved your guys soft serve I would definitely come again this time I'll be bringing more of my friends I guess what I'm trying to get at is don't judge a book by it's cover you might find some hidden gems from time to time. -pinche johann read more

I went with my family to try it out even with the low rating. I have to say that I'm glad we gave it a go. This place was good and offered different options. People probably rated it low if they are looking for a specific taste, so if you are picky or like a specific Chinese restaurant, then you might bot like it. The only negative review I would leave is that the spoons and forks should be positioned in a way we touch the handles and not the actual part that we use to eat and having more dessert options. read more

My friends and I came here for the meme and it lived up to its potential. This is by far, the worst buffet I had ever been to LOL. The Main Food The sushi uses the driest and thinnest slices of sashimi and the rice tastes like prominent tap water. I watched the sushi chef make it and tried fresh sushi too but it still tastes like dry tap water even after soaking it in soy sauce. The mayo shrimp was actually decent. The chicken skewers were okay and most definitely edible. Honestly all of this food is "edible" but not worth the $18/person price point. The Dessert I tried the JellO and the ice cream. The JellO tastes like super prominent tap water which leads me to believe everything was made with legally drinkable water. The ice cream had no cream in it either lol there's no trace of milk or yogurt. $1 McDonald's ice cream beats this ice cream by MILES. Verdict I have no idea how this business is still going and have no idea how people continue to come here un-ironically to eat with their dates or families. The perris buffet for me it's The mongolian section is my fav they have a good selection of meats and veggies they also have fresh eggs . They cook to order on the spot ive been here for lunch and dinner , lunch not so hectic but dinner was , it does get packed so you'll need to have a lil patience. The Buffett has a variety of tasty dishes the staff keeps the dishes coming. They also serve sushi I haven't tried yet on my next visit. I usually don't do reviews but I felt the need to make this one. If you are a local I totally understand why you come here, it's the only buffet open within a 20 mile radius. For some reason the locals seem to love the food so much that they take "to go plates." After attending this place I strongly agree with not having any buffets open during the crisis. Everything seems to be made from tap water. The ice cream was more artificial then McDonald's ice cream and that's hard to beat . The only thing good here was the chicken on a stick and the host. This is the best buffet in town. It's a good to place if you're in perris. Definitely worth the money. My favorites are the fried rice and orange chicken. Some nice crispy shrimps and the crabs are okay but they're a little scrawny. There very little crab meat in them. You guys gotta try the teppanyaki. The japanese grill next to the soda machine, you place the items (meat, vegetables) on the plate and have them grill it in front of you. They have vanilla/chocolate icecream machine. Price 12.99 per person Lunch is a dollar less. Drinks are included. Grab your own at the machine. Choose your own table. It gets very busy on the weekends and late evenings. One side of the restaurant always play spanish drama shows and the other side plays local news station and some sports. read more
