Performance Toyota and everyone there that I dealt with my extremely helpful with the car buying process! This was my first time buying a car so I was extremely nervous about the whole thing. My husband wanted me to buy some piece of crap off of Craigslist but I wanted something more reliable with a warranty behind it. I found a Certified Corolla from them that I liked and came in for a test drive. Oz, my salesperson was extremely excellent and so wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. I never felt pressured or like I was being taken advantage of and it made the whole process enjoyable. Four hours after arriving I left with an awesome 2014 Corolla and I couldn't be happier! I will say that I had previously gone to a Honda dealership elsewhere in the Cincinnati area and the moment I arrived it felt very sketchy. Everything from the people there to the few cars I looked just seemed wrong and it was uncomfortable. The level of service between that place and Performance Toyota was night and day. Will NEVER buy another car from Performance Toyota or any stores affiliated with them. Purchased a 2017 used car on 7/3 for our son and car is in the shop already a week and a half later with MAJOR repairs. Toyota states they have no loaner cars while car is being repaired and didn't seem to care to do anything to find one and refused to pay for a rental car even thought their website goes on about their customer service and that they will provide a rental or loaner car!!! Sales manager said they would check again on their loaner cars and never called back!! My son has now been a week without a car and paying for an Uber every day. Emailed the sales manager and GM of store and received no response! They care nothing about their customers after they have their money! read more

I've been coming here for over 2 years to get my 2011 Toyota Camry serviced. It's located right off of Route 4 in Fairfield. I love their waiting area! They have a quiet area and another closed off space with televisions, kids area and a place for people to talk. I like sitting in the quiet area and read. They have a KEURIG which is great, although today when I went it was broke :( The service is always good. And when the battery went dead after I bought it, they made good and replaced it, no questions asked. We came here in search of a New Rav4, to which they had one on their lot that we ended up test driving. A gentleman named Rashawn helped us, he gave us some numbers that were a little out of our price range. Soon as we left we started receiving emails saying our Credit Score had been ran. We received 10 of these emails throughout the day, we had never gave Rashawn permission to run our credit score, we did not sign any paperwork allowing him to do so. I called him and wanted to find out why it was ran, he stated the only way he could give us preliminary numbers is if he ran our credit score. which is not true. I have purchased a vehicle many times and have received numbers for vehicles before a credit check was ever ran. Now we have more than 10 inquiries going against our credit score. Rashawn was incredibly rude on the phone calling my girlfriend and myself a liar. He stated we told him that we wanted to proceed with the car we test drove which was not even the color we wanted, all we were wanting was an idea on a price of that model of Rav4. I will never come back to performance toyota thanks to Rashawn. Regardless of any confusion that may have taken place he showed incredibly unprofessional behavior when I spoke to him on the phone. I will never go back to this dealership. They wasted two entire afternoons of my time right at Christmas and ruined my holiday. They were dishonest several times. First they lied that they'd called me to follow up after my initial visit. Then after saying they couldn't lower the cost of a used RAV4 more than $150, they lowered the price of that very car online nearly $1,000 the very next day. Then after I contacted them and still wanted to buy it, they didn't get back to me for 48 hours and sold the car to someone else. They do not seem to value anyone's time and must treat people who want to finance a car better than those who don't. I would give them a rating of 0 to .5. Update to the response from Performance Toyota--I don't agree that the holiday had any influence on the situation. I wasted too much time there and was appalled at the lack of attention I was given. I had a service done on 6-14-19 and asked for a car wash. When picking up my van i noticed a large crack in the windshield. After talking to Steve the service manager he told me that i had a crack there already and the car wash made it crack even more. He told me to call insurance. Then i sent an email to Tom the general manager explaining my frustration and the situation that happened, he told me that after doing research he can't see how this happened at Toyota and told me to call insurance. So basically i feel like Tom the general manager is calling me a liar. Check the security cameras. There wasn't a crack when i pulled in to get service but a large crack when i left. I have been a loyal Performance Toyota Customer since 2007 having leased a Rav4, Highlander, Tacoma, Camry and Corolla. The end of lease was coming up on our Corolla and we were looking to get into another Toyota Vehicle. We went to the dealership to entertain new car options and were laughed at. We told them what type of vehicle we would like to get into and what our budget was they came back advising us we were being unrealistic. Performance ran some numbers for us and the payments came back outrageous for what we were looking for. We left and went to another dealership who was able to meet our needs and get us into the vehicle that we wanted for the price we needed. Extremely poor customer service from both Andrew and James Rowan in the service department. Sold my wife a rear brake job when in fact the front brakes were causing the issue. I called them within 10 minutes and was told it was too late to cancel the service. After test driving the car they tried to sell us front brakes as well. My wife purchased the vehicle here and they preferred to make a quick profit and lose a life long customer than do the right thing. This is strictly about the dealership, not the car. I purchased a new vehicle. I expressly asked if my credit would be pulled only once and not by multiple companies. I was told it would be pulled only once and forwarded to the lending institutions.This was either a blatant lie or incompetence, either is not something i want to deal with again. Also, on a more minor note but still an irritant, the first maintenance was scheduled for 3 days after the purchase date of the car. I was told oh we will cancel that and reschedule it for 3 months out. Suffice it to say neither were done. UPDATE to my review and additional info So after looking at the paperwork for the deal I realized they over charged me on the price of the vehicle too.I didnt catch it in financing as when i looked at the financed amount i thought it was higher because of the additional insurances i took out. However, that was WRONG. when i did the numbers again i realized they charged me more for the vehicle than even their sales price that was listed on their site. we agreed on a specific amount including tax and title and after doing the math i realized they charged the price plus tax. I honestly have anxiety about the car buying experience. I worry that it will be a high-pressure sales situation. I worry that the finance department will play tricks with the numbers. I worry that the sales people will seem sleazy or untrustworthy. I worry that they will play the "shell game" with the trade-in numbers, monthly payment numbers, interest rate, down payment and msrp. So basically I have a lot of worries. Lets just say I don't shop for cars, for fun. All that being said, my Performance Toyota car buying experience could have not been better. From the moment we stepped in, the first person we met ended up being the salesperson who took us through the whole process, a guy named "Leo," who I would personally recommend you ask for by name. When we came in we were considering the Highlander and the Sienna. Leo took care of arranging test drives for both, was very knowledgable and frankly just a pleasure to chit-chat with. I had done a lot of online research, so I knew a fair bit, but he was even able to teach me some things about the cars I didn't know. We did the test drives, decided on the car we wanted, a Toyota Highlander LE Plus (which they would have to order from another dealership) and we arrange for Leo to give me a call when they had it. Later Leo calls me and tells me the color we wanted, "Salsa" something, was only available in the SE trim. The wife was dead set on that color and so we agreed to come in the next day to look at the Highlander SE, which they luckily did have in stock. We then drove the car and decided to talk the numbers. THIS IS WHERE PERFORMANCE TOYOTA REALLY SEPARATED THEMSELVES. Leo brought a bunch of printouts to the table, the "True Car" prices, the Kelly Blue Book trade-in estimates and even the dealer invoice. Leo basically said, 'Listen, we know all this is available on the internet, so we'll just be straightforward and bring it to the table." I thought this was really a great strategy, rather than just pretend that the internet doesn't exist and any information on there is made-up. We came to an agreement based on the dealer invoice, then went into the financing office. In the financing office, we met with a very pleasant, straightforward lady who worked quickly and diligently to iron out all the detail for us. Not once did she put any number or document in front of my face that wasn't something that Leo and I had discussed. She also did a great job of explaining every single document as straightforwardly and simply as possible. She was even understanding when I told her that I had (dumbly) forgot my checkbook and the title to our trade-in! We basically ended up taking care of as much business as we could at the end of the day we took home the car and all was good. Now because I forgot my checkbook and couldn't find the title I had to come back the next day to tie up some loose ends. Since I had the night to mull over all the deteails of the transaction I came back the next day with some questions. I asked the lady in the finance department if there was any chance we could utilize my credit union for the loan since I could get the loan at about 1% cheaper than what she quoted for me. She said she would check to see if the bank we got the loan through would match the loan and they agreed. Then I told her I was second guessing the extended warranty because it would cost $100 deductible unless I took the car to Performance and she said she could set me up with another warranty through Toyota so that I could take the car to any Toyota dealership and that she would do that at no additional cost. These last 2 things sealed the deal in my mind, we had already agreed to the terms of the deal and she could have easily said no to either one of my requests. This is probably the area where I feel they went up and beyond the call of duty. In conclusion, if you are looking for a Toyota, go to Performance they'll take care of you (ask for Leo). Now hopefully I will live a little longer not dealing with all the normal stress of the car buying experience. read more

I was very disappointed. I found a car online, the exact model I wanted. I made sure I was pre approved though my desired financial establishment, I knew exactly how much I was comfortable spending and I knew how much the list price of the car was. So I drove 1+ hour both ways to check this car out. They offered me basically nothing on my trade and honestly I was upset but I get it they have to make money. Then they all but refused to work with my financial es, I'm still not clear on why, they just kept say because it was in Indiana, okay at this point I was pretty upset not going to lie. They then informed me after all of this, even though I had told them all of the circumstances up front ( I'm from out of town, I would not finance through them, and some extras), they tell me after I have basically said yes I want this car, they then proceed to tell me they cannot hold cars. They had 2+hours to tell me this and didn't. Not to mention they were hella condescending, which would have been worse if I didn't have someone else with me. Top it off with shitty customer service and I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague. EDIT since I can't reply to Andy F. This was not the case at all, my loan amount was well within the range to but this car, just not with all the extras your staff added with out asking. Called and was referred to their Title person who was unavailable so I left phone message. Didn't have courtesy to even call me back. Sent email to business person I signed bill of sale with. No response from him either. Now I have to go to title office and pay more money to get copy of title. I bought a Toyota Certified vehicle back in June of 2016 and now Nov of 2017 I had the check engine light come on along with the Trac off light. I called Chris in service on 11/25/2017 to schedule an appointment. I told him it should still be under power train warranty since it is certified and I bought the car from that location (code P0015). I asked if they provided a loaner vehicle while they worked on mine and he said no, you will have to go rent a car. Offered no additional help, very rude, and asked if we were done with our questions since he has other customers to take care of. I guess they only care to sell a car and not take care of their certified vehicles when it runs into issues. I called another Toyota dealer which they were able to help me. Salesperson was Neal Carroll who was somewhat pleasant to work with initially over the phone; however, my experience went downhill quickly. Neal never followed through with emailing me information that he committed to over the phone. He became pushy and used pressure tactics to just get me into the dealership as quickly as possible without sharing information I had requested via email first. I finally succumbed and set an appointment to meet at the dealership. After arriving at the time we agreed on, I proceeded to wait almost 30 minutes for Neal. He was working with me and several other customers all at the same time, and he came across very rushed. I felt more like a number through the whole process than an actual customer. The only thing that drove me to move forward with my purchase was the price and deal being offered by the dealership. This was the fourth Toyota dealership in my area that I had visited in the span of two weeks where the customer service experienced was subpar to say the least. The poor customer service was simply something I decided to tolerate in order to get this deal done. If my experience ended there, I probably would have ranked it as 2 or 3 stars; however, a week after making my purchase, I get a call from Neal telling me that I have to come back into the dealership and re-sign a new agreement due to an error made by him and this error would increase the price of the purchase. I was irate that someone would even try to do something like this to a customer. I proceeded to call Toyota corp. customer service (who was great to work with and very understanding) and filed a formal complaint through them. Within two days, I received a call from the customer service manager of the dealership apologizing and telling me that everything was taken care of and that I did not have to come back in. It's ashame that I had to go through all of this, and it's even more of ashame that car dealerships hire people like Neal Carroll to represent their company and brand. People like this not only tarnish the brand and dealership that they represent, but they are also the ones who give car salesmen a bad reputation in general. Needless to say, I will not ever refer anyone to Performance Toyota and I will instead warn them of what I experienced. I want as little to do with this dealership as possible. read more

Worst dealership and sales person I have ever dealt with. I just purchased a $43,000+ hybrid Avalon from this dealership. The salesperson, Garrett Lee, couldn't spare a minute of his time to explain any of the features on the car. Actually had the nerve to request I call him at a later date to arrange a time to meet so he could go over some of the features. And that is after he knew I'd be in at a set time and date to purchase and pick up the car. You would think he'd have blocked out an hour or so to review the car with me. But no, he was too busy trying to make another sale. If this dealership's service personnel are as bad as Mr. Lee, I'll definitely regret purchasing a Toyota. Hopefully corporate will send me a survey so I can tell them how I really feel about this dealership. It should also be noted that the trunk of the car was dirty even after Mr. Lee promised the car had been cleaned. There were flower pedals on the trunk floor. And for this I paid $43,000. i had a faulty radio unit replaced under warranty. it took over 2 hrs, when they said it would take 1. i understand things take time. that's not the issue here though!!! a few days after the installation i noticed a panel of my dash was broken and had black permanent marker across the crack!!! upon further inspection, panels from one side of the truck, to the other, were not installed correctly!!! screws in my cupholder that had not been reinstalled... here is what upsets me, nothing was said afterwards... they didn't tell me, "sorry sir, we broke some panels on your dash". or, "sorry sir, we don't have a technician that is competent enough to put your dash back together correctly". no!!! that wasn't the case!!! instead they give me back my truck with broken dash panels that they tried to hide with black permanent marker... and didn't say one word about it!!! and other panels that were not secured with screws or installed correctly!!! i was highly upset and let them know about it. im still upset!!! totally unprofessional!!! i work my butt off to have what i have and i'm an honest person. and to be treated like that by a dealership is absolutely appalling!!! not to mention, the dealer i bought the truck from! i spoke with the manager and got no real resolve, or felt that she took what happened to heart. only a simple apology, and "i understand, it must be frustrating. we'll order the panel". it would be a different story if it was an honest mistake. i can understand that! but to break my vehicle and try to hide it with a disguise is absolutely absurd!!! read more

I had a very much better experience the second time around in the sales department. The GM called me and tried to help me out the best he could. We gave another go with Toyota and had such a 180 experience. When the budget came to play. I had Yair throughout the whole experience wish that happened in the first place but things happened. He was a great listener and really tried to keep me in my budget. We accomplished that in a different care which was pretty similar to the car I wanted. Everything was great until the fees, taxes and GAP insurances. NUTS!!! Not their fault at all. Plus summer classes costs doubled. Double Whammy! The GM (Andy Fisher) and Finance (Jim Debouis) really helped me out and was able to make buying this car possible. I greatly appreciate them for working with me. If the people at Toyota didn't know me before, they now know me from from coming in and for the last 3-4 days ha ha. Unfortunately, bad situations happened, we just need to learn from them. I am not going to let one bad experience ruin my relationship with Performance Toyota because the rest of the staff is great and energetic. Best car buying experience ever! Parker was my salesman. He admitted to being somewhat new, but it didn't impact the process. One of my pet peeves with buying cars is the condescension I've encountered as a female buyer. I like to do the research and test drives, get information, then discuss with my husband. I'm not looking for his permission, mind you, but as a couple/partner I prefer we make financial decisions together. Parker never once suggested that I bring my husband into the dealership to complete the purchase. I narrowed my options, settled on an XLE Camry but they did not have the color I wanted. Parker located a model with all of the features and color I wanted. The car was delivered the next day. I would recommend Performance and Parker! read more
